illicit substances and ego. ive dealt with multiple semi drivers like that, including one who totaled my car. dashcam made sure he went to prison and i got everything paid for. if you dont have a dashcam, GET ONE, seriously.
I would love to see that footage see the inside of a courtroom.

That trucker needs arresting for that show of dangerous driving. Why be so mad that someone wants to overtake you? Just let them, and avoid the confrontation.
It should be 1 year mandatory commercial license suspension for intentionally dangerous driving and a lifetime ban if that dangerous driving leads to an accident. Go find a different career.
Now go see the film, ‘Duel’. You’ll never deign you pass a semi tractor trailer again.
The guy with the camera needs to be arrested for driving in an unsafe manner as well. Regardless, indeed because of the driving of the semi, that car's driver jumped straight into illegal driving territory the second he started trying to pass him on the left as it was clearly unsafe to do so. Yeah the guy in the semi was being a dick, but that in no way excuses the guy in the car from driving like an idiot. There is no state in America where you are allowed to drive the way either of them were.

@@Nightrunnergunner you are probably right. I feel most drivers sort of get tunnel vision and only focus on what is directly in front of them most of the time. Even when stopped at a light I am always looking everywhere...
That happened to me as a pedestrian last year. I was crossing a crosswalk pushing my son in a stroller. Pressed the button to turn on the lights, car closest to me comes to stop so I started to cross. As I'm about to walk past that car, it honks it's horn, I stopped dead in my tracks and so did the car that was in the next lane. I was so grateful for that car that honked it's horn. Not sure what would have happened if that driver didn't.

Honestly I think they're both in the wrong. The semi driver moreso than the cammer, but I don't think it was exactly a good idea to dangerously maneuver around the truck in the grass going those speeds, as was proven when they swerved too hard back onto the road and ended up crashing as a result. Your life is more important than your ego, so it's safer to just back off and let it go, maybe try later. Escalating the situation with a semi truck is dangerous.

But he did make a legitimate lane change and as right as he was IN THE MIDDLE OF PASSING THE TRUCKER, the trucker decided to let his ego take control and actually run him off the road, AGAIN WHILE HE WAS BEING PASSED. He actually needs to be arrested, and have his license revoked. That is basically attempted murder.

I can confirm that a good amount of the elder people here in Denmark behave like that. I have seen the exact same thing several times. The engine going at 5000+ rpm, and the car moves at 2 km/h. Most of our senior citizens is embarassed if the engine stalls due to wrong footwork at the clutch.
That granny backing out of the garage at about the 3 minute mark is actually terrifying...... In every country they should test everyone every 5 years...... No excuses.... Everyone gets tested

I think that while the semi truck driver is driving very erratically and had no reason to do so, especially given that an accident caused by them could easily result in death, the cammer wasn't that much of a better driver either. They should have avoided the situation by just letting it go; seeing that the truck driver was being aggressive, it's better to play it safe and not get engaged. Passing them in the grass at those speeds, then swerving back onto the road, was dangerous and kind of their fault.

The thing that really gets me is when the cammer was finally overtaking him, the trucker's ego decided to run him off the road instead of just letting him pass. My only criticism without any further knowledge is the car should not have tried to overtake. Who knows what the lead up was, it's oddly cut from the video and this trucker didn't just decide "fuck that car" (most likely). I imagine some road rage occured earlier for some reason or another and idc who's at blame. Best you can do is slow down and stay away from the idiot in the truck and call the police or something. Yoloing into half a lane next to a semi that's pissed at you, or anyone, is not gonna end well for anyone. This is defensive driving. The car isn't at fault, but his insurance can definitely make a case for raising his costs or not covering it because he too was technically driving recklessly. Don't forget that we are sitting here calmly watching this, the guy in that clip decided to floor the gas peddle and play chicken with a semi. If you get so angry you will risk your life just to be right and pass, you perhaps are having a bad day or some anger you need to deal with. On the contrary, if you decide you would rather run someone off the road than let them pass, even if they cut you off or something, you simply have an anger problem, no bad day says "ya I'ma kill the driver of that car and any family inside." That just makes you a piece of shit who needs to have your licensed suspended.

happened to me the other day, dude gets off interstate exit without even looking and I slammed my brakes, didn't even ride his ass after and when I turned on my left turn signal he threw the finger out the window, what I thought was funny is that he wasn't gonna do that if I kept following him and the fact that he flipped me off showed actual no sign of intelligence from him so he has to live his life being that stupid which actually makes me feel bad for him 🤣

As a student driver I feel that fear. I’m sure after driving on the roads long enough, that fear will become subconscious, but I’m always worried that when that happens, I’ll let my guard down and make a mistake that potentially might harm me or someone else.

As a driver, I’ll say this. The trucker was extremely unprofessional and dangerous to be doing shit like that at night. Now for the second truth: the car had to have done something extremely stupid to instigate this behavior. I’ve dealt with plenty of dumbass four wheelers that shouldn’t have licenses, and I’ve also had to cut people off cus I needed something done and they barely give an inch. But that? I won’t say it’s unwarranted cus I’ve wanted to do this several times, but highly dangerous and unprofessional.
