Arminia Bielefeld are back in the Bundesliga! Which is quite an achievement given there's a long-running conspiracy theory in Germany that asserts the city of Bielefeld doesn't actually exist. It sounds crazy, but Kick off! reporter Max Merrill decided to check things out, just to be sure. While he was there, he let us know what to expect from the Bundesliga's newest team.

DW Kick off! Too bad Wyoming doesn’t have a sports team, because that might’ve been cheaper to render than the “city” of Bielefeld. All you need is 100 people, some generic flat farmland, a few cows and that’s pretty much it.

Always a soft spot for Arminia Bielefeld. As a Schalke fan from the U.S., they were the opponent of the only Schalke game I've seen live (in 1997). We stayed in the same hotel as Bielefeld and had breakfast with the team all around. Spoke to one of their players who was pretty surprised to learn we were only in Gelsenkirchen for the game. A great experience, hope they stay up.

I was in Bielefeld 2 years ago. As a fan of history I had to meet the memorial of Arminius in Detmold (I stayed in Lemgo for 3 days), so, in my Eurotrip I had to stopped in Bielefeld. Lovely and nice city.
I just finished watching Barbarians on Netflix. And now KZhead suggested me this video. Sigh.
This video inspired me to play with them in FIFA. Hey, they aren’t listed anywhere………scrolling….scrollling…..they don’t exist! It’s true! It’s all a conspir - Wait, nevermind. Found it.

Am I the only one who hates going to work in Bielefeld in the morning. Since the space-time hole in Herford is under construction you have to share one with those coming from lemgo and it's fucking madness. I wish Bad Salzuflen would get its own space time hole to enter Bielefeld.

I had to move from Bielefeld in January (2020) for a job. Worst timing ever, haven't seen my family in months, barely any people. Those shots from the top of the Sparrenburg? Damn they hurt.

The conspiracy is that Bielefeld doesnt exist... allegedly.
Eilhoff said it right: Arminia is a great traditional club, which unites the hole region. Arminia is not even a part of east westphalia, but it is a pillar for the identity and the living culture. Arminia is Bielefeld and Bielefeld is black, white and blue.

Nothing exciting or interesting happened in Bielefeld? What about 'Dirty Den' from Eastenders shooting and murdering someone outside Catterick camp? Then there's the fact every army camp in Bielefeld was named after places in North Yorkshire. Catterick, Ripon, Redcar, Reeth etc Then theres PC69 which deserves a whole youtube channel to itself lol Oh and Bielefeld is a bloody awesome place to grow up and live, oerlinghausen is cool as well Quarry jumping there in the 90s was incredible.
