thanks for watching this episode of Breath Of The Wild! i hope you liked it!!
weve started to look for kilton medals now and honestly its kinda fun so far, im have a good time with the talus one but im pretty sure its gonna get real tough when we have to do the other ones, either way im pretty sure its gonna be a lot of fun.
i love this game and im just excited to play more of it!
thanks for being here :) hope you have a good day!!
breath of the wild gameplay
*In today’s episode of Breath of the Wild…* We’ve reached a pretty big milestone today, folks! 100 episodes of Breath of the Wild. That’s nothing to scoff at, no no no. In fact, I dare say that’s something to celebrate. So… as any good ‘writer’ should… here’s my list of ‘formal’ acknowledgements: *AnArn B,* *M N switch,* *Marissa Bulso,* *Megan Knapp,* for following my silly little comments with such passion, such dedication. *[REDACTED].* _A shame your username was... the way it was..._ *sc1ence2,* for typing the words “scholarly sports commentator.” Thank you. *Underplayer,* someone who was similarly way too invested in this channel during the Hollow Knight playthrough. *dragon_boi,* just a friendly reminder that _you_ are amazing and appreciated. _Thank you lizard._ *Korok ~300, Korok 424, & Korok 521* for… making my life worse. Found you in the end, though. Found you in the end. And, of course, *QuinBoBin.* For… giving me this opportunity. For giving us this content. For… being himself. Okay, enough of that mushy garbage, what actually happened *in today’s episode of Breath of the Wild?* Quin has been possessed by the completionist spirit. The Really Big Rocks call him, to destroy their very accursed souls. There are 42. Let’s get mining, then. 2:18 *Talus 1* downed. These minibosses are laughably easy in endgame; the way I phrased that would make you think they’re not so easy in early game. That depends on how willing you are to waste three minutes of your life stunlocking these behemoths with silly remote bombs. _I, for one, have nothing better to do._ Nice sneeze. 3:02 *Talus 2* made a convincing decoy frost talus, visible even from space, but was no match for Quin’s superior vision. Fun fact! Quin died to a talus in episode 2 of this Breath of the Wild series. Now, _I_ have an encyclopedia on the events of this series; how does _he_ remember that far back? Teba definitely has some roasted bird thighs after the Vah Medoh encounter… 3:41 *Talus 3* is a kind man. Polite, even. 4:36 *Talus 4* has mastered the art of using his head; Quin, however, has not. Using bomb arrows at close range? Running directly underneath a talus as it telegraphs its slam attack? Failing to utilize remote bombs on a back-talus? All checked off. Ah, we love him for it though. 5:22 *Talus 5,* a fallen meteorite. Friend to Korok… ah… some number, I’m sure. 5:59 *Talus 6* does NOT have the 27 I.Q. that Quin does, leaving him an easy slaughter. 6:28 *Talus 7* got eviserated. 6:45 Likewise, for *Talus 8.* 7:08 *Talus 9* was powerscaled for the Great Plateau. A shame for him, but some easy pickings for the rest of us. 8:41 Loony tunes spinning aside, *Talus 10* is down. That’s a bandana, not a hat, Quin. Allow me to recall my retconned dominion over the weathers of Hyrule, as illustrated in episode 36 of this series, to shame you for your lacking vocabulary. 9:39 Mommy… I- uh- that’s *Talus 11.* 9:58 Americ- hm- Canadian Psycho over here, murdering *Talus 12* just over some poor weather. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that… I could recall that korok’s number. I could. 10:21 Respect your elders, Quin. Or don’t. *Talus 13* was the one to teach you that lesson the hard way. How unlucky. 10:35 I hope I get these timestamps right. The sound of *Talus 14’s* deposit shattering is such a satisfying sound. So it seems, simply so. 11:08 _Itzy-bitzy spider, climb up the water spout. Crush a massive boulder, mine its minerals out!_ The nursery rhyme just isn’t the same, even if accurate to *Talus 15’s* experiences. 12:02 *Talus 16* never stood a chance. 12:32 *Igneo Talus Titan,* despite certainly having already been slain to complete the DLC, joins his children as *Talus 17.* Reduced to a mere statistic, a fate worse than Hell. 12:45 Farming Simulator 2022. Hello, *Talus 18.* Goodbye, Talus 18. 13:06 This is [SOUND OF *TALUS 19* VIOLENTLY SHATTERING INTO PIECES] gaming. 100 episodes in and never having collected a Smotherwing Butterfly. I recall someone having a meltdown over you only discovering a Sneaky Snail midway into the late-game korok hunt. I wonder how they’re doing, seeing that. 14:09 *Talus 20* was exceptionally rude, but at least that’s the halfway point. _The Korok Hunt was so much harder, this is… this should’ve been the tutorial…_ 14:31 *Talus 21* got what, like, 5 frames of life? The poor man. … …th- thirteen… left… _(Am I mentally prepared to be wrong again…?)_ Ignoring that, and *[REDACTED]* Gorons offscreen, we should be completing the Talus Hunt relatively soon, next episode even! That’s exciting! *Our (mis)adventures, then, must conclude for today.* I’ll see you all on episode 101! :)

I honestly thought the big series would be over after the side quests, but I was pleasantly surprised. A win for Quin
We’ve still got a bit to go before I’m fully done botw I think compendium gonna take a bit, but it’ll be fun!
I’m excited to see it!!
@@QuinBoBin the compendium and the kilton medals both count toward the 100% so after that you are done, maybe 1-2 locations.
A Qwin if you will.
@@QuinBoBin Thanks to this video I realised that you can get medals from Kilton
Quin. Takes time to gather several sledge hammers to kill talus. Also Quin, only uses one and then proceeds to break pretty much all of his good items
I think once you talk to Kilton about the medals the game will show you if you've beaten the talus when you start fighting it.
Oooh okok
@@QuinBoBin ya they will have a star next to there healthbar if you have fought them
@@atticusbrown7111 It's even less subtle than that, it straight up says "defeated"
@@nyxmiloq4167 oh it does lmao didnt know that
The sky islands in TotK will be covered in bigger Taluses. The ones in BotW were just the ones kicked over the side by the bullies up top.
L talus
So THAT's why they're all face-planted in the ground before Link wakes them up
The suspense in whether he needs to talk to Kilton first or not is killing me 😂
Loool
Koroks, Moons, Side quests and now KILTON MEDALS! you are insane Quinbobin. Good job
Moons?
@@FlameShroom he’s talking about super Mario odyssey
14:34 “Alright that’s every single Goron on Death Mountain” Daruk: Why am I giving this guy protection again?
I have a feeling that this series will never end, and I'm all here for it.
Link is gonna have so much self esteem after this with all the shiny gold medals and poops
i still remember how you called the dragon a divine beast, we´ve come so far
Yea lol
truly humbling to see that 100 episodes of botw does not protect you from persistent death by lava
the way quin perfectly cuts screams and shouts is so amusing to me
I don’t know if someone else will say it. But Quinn, the ones that have the stone on their back are easy because you can just stand behind them and hit it with a spear.
Once you talk to Kilton about the medals, the game puts "defeated" labels next to the names of the ones you've already beaten when you square up to them.
Every time Link falls in lava, I wince a little, so I'm glad Quin did it 11 times, very cool!
Tip: Stasis+ can help scouting them out Also, upgrading each piece of your Rito and Gordon gear to ⭐️⭐️ (I believe) you can wear them all and be ice/fire-proof respectively, making Frost/Igneous Talusses easier to fight because you don’t have to warm them up/cool them down to climb them
Kilton medals? This man will *not* stop. Dedication to be admired.
I honestly didn't even know that those existed 🙈
@@Zeitverschwender93 Yeah there's ones for Hinoxes Moldugas and Taluses
"what are these weird bridges that they invented, they are horrible to walk on" -QuinBoBin, Attempting to walk on a RAIL for MINECARTS.
*flying machines
You can actually check if a rock is a talus or not by using stasis +, as it is an enemy and you can freeze it. And it is registered as an enemy even before it gets out of the ground. So if you activate stasis and see a huge yellow boi, then thats a talus
Your boss/ mini-boss story reminded me that my friend first played BotW a year ago but, he thought a Hinox was an entire Devine Beast. I felt bad for him because he didn't believe me until tree days later when he bothered to look it up.
"Decision making is not my strong suit, this is my strong suit because it protects me from fire"-Best of Quin
i just remember you fighting that first talus and saying "i wish i had an axe" while simultaneously hitting the talus with an axe
loool commentary is hard sometimes
@@QuinBoBin you're the best at it i promise
Lynel spears make quick work of the Taluses with the back moles. They are long enough so you can poke it from the ground.
Is it just me or do you guys also miss when he called us smellys?😄The ultimate would be if he called us smelly and said good riddance and stay safe haha
“Welp, that’s every Goron!” The Goron: 👁👄👁
these videos are slowly convincing me to 100% the game :)
It’s more fun then I expected! I’d say give it a try if you feel like it
I tried to once but then I got bored and gave up
it’s worth it in the sense of bragging rights😂 but seriously it’s fun but takes a lot of time and it does get a little boring, but once you finish it feels amazing!!
Same
Everyday I write down random ideas for BOTW challenges so Quin will still play this game. He’s single-handedly getting me through grad school.
So excited for Kilton’s medal quest 😬 Lake Darman named after Darmani from Majora’s Mask, who you insisted on calling Daramni the entire time (I really love you always putting your own spin on stuff ❤️)
Because he put his spin on the talus?
@@sunboitheultimate9886 he sure did lmao
This comment made me realize that I completely forgot the name ISNT Daramni😅
@@jennieolivia734 it is now tho!
Happy 100th botw video quin! Glad to have been here for such a long time, seeing you make amazing content.
Botw is what led me to watch Quin, so seeing him milk the first game as long as he can until the second comes out is amazing
Quin before the start of master mode: im not gonna do anything but the main quests but not anything else Quin now: were gonna find all the koroks, do all the side quests and get all the medals from kilton Quin in the future: gonna fill the whole hyrule compendium
I'm actually glad that you're taking your time with botw because I love the series. Let's hang on up until tears of the kingdom!
I'm convinced Quin could make doing taxes entertaining. Man is a riot and a half.
It’ll be fun to see you chat with Kilton and have him realize that you are the monster under the bed for the “monsters” that he researches Lyonals, Talus’, and Molduga will all fall before your tiny determination
You don't need to restart after a blood moon, just defeat 40 of them once then talk to kilton also you didnt have to talk to Kelton before. Also it's best to mark them with ores and skulls for the ones you killed
DougDoug calls the Talus with a stone on the back "butt-talus". I love that word so much, so every time I see one I think of this word. So accurate 😂
"Do I have to talk to Kilton first?" *Continues slapping rocks without checking*
If feel that fight the Talos and Lynels need to be a challenge series much like Twilight Princess where a new battle condition gets tacked onto each new episode. Might I recommended for the first challenge... 'No Shields'.
That was originally the plan I recorded the rest of the talus stuff already but I think I talk about doing that in the next episode, I don’t remember
Quin I’m so glad this is back but please if you really want to 100% botw then max out all the armour at the great fairies
This is gonna be exactly like that video series of things you don't know that are in breath of the wild. Everytime we think you're done, you still manage to get more out of this game
I never heard or read about Kilton Medals- after about 550 hours in. Colour me shocked.
i love how i literally watch your videos after school and try to 100% along with you 😂 keep up the good work!
The big man is back, and here to slap some inanimate objects! Quick Tip for Quin: Upgrading the fire armor up to 2 stars will grant you the ability to not catch fire! Same with the snow armor but with not freezing. But it’s only if you wear the whole set.
crazed completionist geologist slaps rocks with sledgehammers for 15 whole minutes
6:33 " Did he just forget to come into work today?" Had me cackling😂
those "bridge's" are rails. you can use magnesis to put mine cart's on them and then, power them with bombs it's like the funniest thing in the game
“Stand up so I can make you sit back down” and “I’ve been outplayed by the environment” go so hard
Hey Quin! Quick lil tip to find the last part of your map. Go into your map and click X to open Hero's Path Mode. It shows you everywhere you've been, so all you gotta do is find the one place Link hasn't been and go there!
"and if there's something i'm good at it's slapping giant men." #relatable
12:42 Yeah! A lot of locations are named after older characters- there’s also a series of lakes around Zora Domain named after the Indigogos, locations in Lost Woods named after Kokiri and Mekar, and a bridge named after Mehdli
I never realized how much there is actually to do botw!
There is sooo much
I wanted to say that i really appreciate this series. Dude i love it and it really helped me getting through some tough times since my cat i had around my whole childhood passend some days ago. I just wanted to thank you :)
I recently found this channel and I've been binge watching all of your Zelda playthrough. Your breath of the wild playthrough was heartwarming and wholesome. It's always fun to watch new people play breath of the wild for the first time and really enjoy it.
Pro tip: spears are good for getting those hard-to-reach weak spots on the backs of some talus. Drill spear has a multiplier on it for talus similar to sledgehammers and whatnot, if you want to be thematic.
Lynels don't count as mini bosses for Kilton
I'm surprised that this is one of the last achievements he's getting, from what I remember on my master mode one I did all the medals early so I didn't have to worry about saving good weapons and stuff cause I'm a huge damn hoarder in this game. Happy 100th BOTW video I think (assuming you didn't forget to add any other ones to the playlist)
That exceptional play 11:36 made me laugh harder than I have in a long time
If you decide to do the compendium, just remember some things don't spawn anymore at this point of the game like some BL weapons. If you talk to the assistant in Hateno lab though, he'll help you out. 😁
Your videos really gave me the excitement I felt back when I'm completing these challenges, really enjoyed watching them!
The medals are pretty fun, i only have the stone talus and the molduga one because i actually dont like fighting hinoxes that much, they are the boringest for me because once you know how to defeat them, they’re incredibly easy. Stone taluses ( the ones that have their weak point on their back) can still be tricky. I hope you have fun with the rest of the game!
Congrats on the 100th botw video Quin!
Quin, if you go to the Kar Kar Bazar with a multi shot bow there is a glitch to get infinite arrows. There is a cooking pot there. Make sure the pot is on fire and walk up to it. If you are close enough for your normal arrows to light on fire it will work. Have the arrows light in fire and shoot the arrows at the bottom of the campfire. For some reason the arrows will stay there and you can pick them up. You have to use normal arrows and a multi shot bow.
'would you please stop spinning for 2 minutes' stasis+ staring at you from the shadows:
i’ve been binging all your zelda videos for the past couple of weeks and i’m so glad you’re enjoying the series and playing the games your way. it’s so entertaining :)
Crazy to me how big of a fanbase this game still has, its well deserved.
Well, it IS my favourite video game to date.
Hey Quin! I've recently been getting back into this game when I noticed someone was playing it! I'm still watching your series so I haven't watched this video yet but I'm so glad you're enjoying it as much as I did! Definitely my favorite game on the Switch. I've been playing on Master Mode (master mode = enemies have more HP, more attack damage, weapons have less durability, all enemies begin to regen health after not being attacked, and more and harder enemies spawn in every camp and stuff, theres even a lynel on the Great Plateau lol)
12:22 That's the most legit sound you made the whole video and I'm giggling far too much at it
i hope you enjoyed your mini break! so excited you're continuing your botw gameplay your content is my favorite.
Something tells me Quin likes this game.
Maybe a little
Am I the only one who binge watched this whole series several time
A big smile went across my face when I saw you had done a new episode. Thanks for brightening my day!
1:10 And Quin proves once again that he is my favourite dude on the interwebs!
I'm so happy the series continues! Thanks for the great videos!
A noble quest indeed, my friend. Keep these videos coming, I love em!
Its implied that the Talus are asteroids that fell from space, so basically aliens. So Quin is basically plunging Hyrule into an intergalactic war with space rocks. I see no problem with this.
You don't have to refight the one which respawned after the blood moon, you just need to beat each talus once. Also you can upgrade your armor and the set bonus for fire proof and cold proof armor literally makes you unburnable and unfreezable so you can climb the elemental talus without having to shoot them
Congrats on 100 episodes in the BoTW playlist!! :D
Enjoyable from beginning to end. Especially when you returned to death mountain and discovered the truth behind its name. That is, deeeathh 😂👏🏻👏🏻 I don’t know why people are telling you to use stasis to spot the Talus because I had a great time watching you insult regular rocks for being fakes. 🤣
It brings joy to my eyes knowing that Quin always first tries his windbombs.
I just found this guy and now I can’t stop watching the Botw vids
Put on the barbarian gear, you will deal more damage to enemies. And if you upgrade it, it’s insane how fast you can kill even silver lynels.
"I'm in spain without the a." "Your in spin?" 8:30
I love this dudes content, so much that I watch him while I eat
Quick tip- you can use upgraded stasis to get on them
I love your content, thanks for making our day
I love how I never get tired of watching this series
Quin, if you’re having a hard time spotting enemies, you can always use stasis to make them stand out! Good luck!
LETS GOOOOO another vid and another series thanks for all your hard work in editing!
At 9:37 electric attacks do more damage when it's raining. And I find the spears are the best weapons aginst the Talus who has the ore deposit on their lower backs
100th episode?! Yay! This series is so good thank you Quin
It’s always great seeing more Quinn!
Hey Quin I just wanted to thank you for posting these amazing videos, when my grandma got cancer and we were told it wasn’t curable I only saw my mum once a fortnight and when I was sad I would always watch your videos and it really cheered me up every time so thank you and keep posting amazing videos
YAYY! I’ve been waiting for Quin to do this challenge❤️
quin, heres a tip, if you cant find the talus use ur statis plus rune itll make him turn yellow very easy to spot, also if u do talk to kilton itll show up with a star and say ifu killed them before or not, if you ever have in ur entire history of botw u dont need to again :) hope this helps love the content been here a good few years i hope this series never ends
Yo great video! Just a heads up that you don't need to beat them all in one blood moon cycle. You just have to beat the all once in your playthrough. Also if you talk to Kilton before you fight them, whenever you come up to a boss it tells you if you've killed it yet but it isn't necessary. Also you can use a spear for the ones who have the rock on their back. Just climb them and stab them till they regret ever waking up.
Also I just want you to know that I appreciate you finding every possible thing to do in this game bc now I can find every possible thing (other than trial of the sword) to do in this game
I believe if you talk to Milton all the ones you defeat will show defeated near the health bar. Same with hinox and moldugas.
watching these videos make me realise how much I can still do in botw
you know its a great day when quin uploads
Lovin' the content Quin. So much fun to watch.
