  • You know how all these celebs are doing cameos? I messaged Goldberg back when the pandemic started asking him to wish my kid a happy 7th birthday... Just did it as a long shot. This guy emails me back with a video attached... Tells my son "happy birthday, you're next". Such an incredible guy. If I ever meet him I have to shake his hand and thank him in person.

I ran and got friend and told him Goldberg was in the store. My friend was like old, "Not uh" then we walked around the aisle and ill never forget the look on my friends face. We were 10 and 11 years old. We walked up to him and he greeted us and then he went out to his car and gave us posters that he had.

Talked with Bill for about 15 minutes, what a tremendous, down to earth guy. Never brought up anything about wrestling, just talked about his football days and life in general. He was very appreciative of us because 99% of his interactions with fans is all about wrestling. Had 3 shots of either Jack Daniels or Jose Cuervo and a couple of Budweiser’s. Terrific Human Being.

  • The "westernization" of that part of the world. It reminds me of Rocky IV, at the end of the movie with the crowd that turns & pops for Rocky. Also where we all grow & learn from each other. I loved Goldberg, that time of wrestling had the greatest crowds. Hot crowds always increase any event or segment. Some pro sports, the Ram's dome, seemed to try to keep the crowds down. The Dome had bad lighting, kept it darker in the upper area like a stage play. That's why I'll always love open stadiums and college ball.

    • This comment would’ve been better without the reference to Western propagandized messaging from a Cold War era movie.

    • @@dabiggchill06 … Right on. I’ve been a Rams Fan since 1967, at the age of 4. My oldest brother had just returned from Vietnam & introduced me to the great game of Football. Truly loved our St.Louis Years, and hated truly when we moved out of LA to Anaheim, Orange County for years of 1979-1994. *🤘🏽Horns•Up🤘🏽Ramily* *SB LVI CHAMPIONS-*
