Hi guys, thanks again for being here! I hope you are doing well 😁Please let me know what kind of video you like to see in the future? Don't forget to mention what's the best thing about your job or training. All the best, Michelle
Every video I learn a little more about you, today I learned ur name is Michelle!
It would be AWESOME if you'll do a pilot routine video!
@@afrini Like how my day looks when working?
@@DutchPilotGirl yes that would be awesome. Pls do that. Love the videos BTW 😊
I don't know how your company handles such things, but it would be awesome to see a little cockpit tour of your "office" 😊

I’m 62. I started flying when I was 15. I still love it. You express how great it is very well. It should be good for young people to hear that the passion never goes away. I can’t think of another career path that can make that same claim. For those who are having to wait a few years to start training it is well worth the wait. When I was 21, fresh out of college, my flight school where I was instructing went out of business. The economy was bad, and I ended up becoming an air traffic controller for 35 years. 2 years after retirement I finally got hired by a charter company and sent to school to get type raited on the Falcon 50 At age 62 and I made it! I’m loving life now. The moral of the story is it was worth the 37 year wait to be able to live the dream. You go Dutch Pilot Girl! Love your videos!
Thanks!
Don't know what's more inspirational ,this story or her video ,thanks for sharing!!!
@@venkatsaimurlidharan9144 You are very welcome!!
Wow this is the most inspirational thing I’ve seen all day!!!
wow thats inspiring! I'm 25, researching my local flights schools and wishing I started earlier! but it truly is never too late
Amazing thank you Dutch pilot girl I’m 17 and turning 18 and I will never give up on being a pilot despite the current situation !!!!!!!!!!
Work hard, and believe in yourself.
I'm with you girl I also want to be pilot
Happy birthday 🥳
we need people with the drive that you have to become the next generation of pilots....stay with it and make it happen
I'm starting my flight training in 2 weeks!! Yay for women pilots!
Wow, amazing. Good luck and have fun!
@@planemotionpictures Thank you!
Which school and where?
omg your lucky i have to wait 6 years im 11
Good luck, where are you doing your training
5 more reasons: - You work with cuting edge technology - airplanes - You are transporting 100s the people who are going somewere they need to be: for their career, leisure, or mayby something completely life changing for them. - You are responisble for keeping countries and continents connected to eachother - The money - The job doesn't follow you home. When a flight is done, you don't have to think about it again.
These are the reasons why I love aviation and still aspire to become a pilot despite COVID19, surely the plan has to be delayed but my mind is already set. Thanks a lot @DutchPilotGirl your videos really motivate us. 🛫❤
I was an air traffic controller at ORD for 20 years. I loved my job and couldn’t believe I was getting paid for it! I understand! 👍❤️
My goodness girl where do you get the time and energy to do what you're doing? I've seen a number of your programs and they're all somewhat different. What a rare gift you have. Thank you as always.
Can't wait to get to a cockpit, sadly if everything goes according to my plan i will have to wait 5 years, but so excited every day until that time. Thank you for this video, I love how it feels like it was made with love and passion, like Joe's videos. Best Wishes, and many more adventures in the future ahead!
Exactly those videos are a great motaviation during learning for the ATPL theory exam
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
I absolutely adore your enthusiasm. It's very infectious. Thank You.
DutchPilotGirl your videos are the best! Keep up the good work!
Outstanding message FlyGirl. I'm a retired Airline pilot and you are spot on. I'd do it all over again if I could. A wonderful way to make a living.
You nailed it ! Absolutely! Not a single day, feels like work!
Great video, as usual I enjoy watching your video hope you have a great rest of your day!
That was an excellent summary. Very well done.
Great vid!! Totally agree
Thanks a ton for helping us understanding such information about pilot career.
Thanks for a wonderful uplifting video!
I have been lucky to have flown all over the world but never really knew what goes on in the cockpit. Thanks for the education. You are a natural in front of the camera.
I'm not even very interested in aviation but I could watch and listen to you discuss anything. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Amazing video! you're so amazing. Keep flying safely!
I like your very positive and frank discussion around being a pilot. Keep up the good vids!
Glad you like them! Thank you for your feedback
Hi Michelle. I’m glad I’ve discovered your channel. I learn a lot from you and your videos are very entertaining. I’ve loved aviation all of my life. Videos I would like to see are one of a flight or take-off / landing. Maybe one on ground support and of course always like to see where you travel. Thank you for doing this.
Love your videos!! I'd say your list is right on. I'd add one thing, the kids!! I love it when the kids visit the flight deck. The look on their faces is priceless, especially when I tell them we connect the X-box to the PD and the PS4 to the ND!! A lot of laughs and big smiles.
Brilliant video! It was really informative and interesting!
Being a pilot was my dream or desired career I wanted..but life and circumstances of life put me in other track...any how seen your videos get me to a conclusion that you are the MOST beautiful pilot I heve ever seen..take care😷😷
Enjoyed your video thanks Michelle
Always a great job 🛩💪

Beautiful inspiration
Michelle..I have been following you on KZhead for a couple of months and love your commentary's...not a pilot, but at 73 have flown my fair share of hours in the sky...Your a breath of Sunshine...Keep it up!...Jeff
Thank you for the 10 best things video. I can include those things in the short stories I am writing about a pilot. I think the 10 worst things would be an interesting video too.
Great Video Dutpilotgirl 😊😊
I'm an Electrical Engineer and I love my job. But I always want to try flying with a real aircraft. Thanks for this amazing video
Michelle you are wonderful! Watching your videos is a real treat. You always make my day with your pretty eyes and wonderful smile.
I am retired now from executive and program management in technical electronics manufacturing and I travelled around the world , which was exciting but I missed my family so I learned to send my management staff to share the travel assignments. One aspect of my job was to setup a logistics center in the Netherlands which became one of my favorite countries to do work and fun activities. I worked in Rotterdam but visited Amsterdam, Utrecht, Maastricht, Eindhoven, Delft, Breda, Gouda, and many others. I am grateful for all the pilots who bring their skills and dedication to the job of delivering me safely to my destination. The only problem I had in the Netherlands was walking into the bike path :) Future videos of you enjoying the Netherlands would be nice.
5:59 it seems like the other planes are watching you land. 😂😂
never say it that way... lmao :)
Yes to funny 🤣🤣🤣
It is indeed an addiction and a passion!! I loved aviation since I was 14. got my PPL when I was 35! All pilots regardless of experience and age will always remember their first solo!! The thrill after landing is a very unique best feeling!! Nothing like it!! I trained and flew PA-28 ... never flown a cessna! :)
Awesome vids .... Keep up lady !!😃
You are respectable girl God bless you and your family thanks for the video
Thank you for your videos. I’m no pilot but I love learning about aviation! :-)
I just started with flight school also! Love it.
You have inspired me to become a pilot. Thank you.
I added this video right away to my aviation motivation playlist. Bloody amazing. Actually now I know, why I go to school. I now have a proper reason why to be good at school and work on myself (I'm 15) Thank you once again for an amazing and inspiring video. Stay save and healthy. Greetings from Germany.

As a long haul trucker in the us, much of what you said applies to me as well. I love the videos.
I'm glad to say that there are two months left to never work a day in my life anymore because I'm starting my training in two months. I'm so anxious! Cheers from Portugal!
Another part would be awesome! :)
You should make a video about the top 10 worst things about being a pilot! Your content is so amazing and helpful!
thanks for the feedback
Am a chef, yes quite different from being a pilot or any other job. I wanted to become a pilot that is why I am an AC enthusiast. But cooking is also fun, creative and rewarding especially when the guests enjoy your cooking. The cons in my job ofcourse are the long hours and very little social life and other stuff but that is with every job. Love your videos and keep them coming..
I have a lot of respect for chefs!
Thank you😀
It is the way the pilots park or dock the plane like parallels parking between two planes using the engine power and docking ropes. Magnificent!
Great video as always. I am not a pilot but have had my dream job for 35 years (geologist). It has taken me around the world to over 50 countries. Have spent countless hours in airplanes and airports. Have had the opportunity to ride in many types of aircraft including Cessnas 150, 172, 180, de Havillands Tiger Moth, Beaver, Otter, Twin Otter, DC-3, DC-6, Porter, business jets, numerous helicopters and almost all of the airliners. Lots of fun.
Thanks very much for this motivation.
You're welcome!
As an optician I love to see the people smiling, when they are putting on their new glasses and see everything perfectly clear and sharp! But I realized that I don't want to work as an optician on forever. Instead I want to be a pilot🛫🙈 Great video by the way😃 Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Glad you like the video, greetings from the Netherlands!
si vous êtes intéressé par voler j'ai un ami à Lausanne qui aime partager sa passion, si cela peut vous intéresser ! Il est très sympa
Yes I want to know 🤔🤔🤔🤔 worst reason of being a pilot.....love your videos
I only subscribe to 3 youtube channels all aviation oriented. I live in Texas and am impressed with your English and knowledge. I have had a pilot licence for 50 + years with an IFR (I follow roads) rating. With the aides today I would get lost. I have circled many water towers to get my location. Keep up the educating us pilots on the modern modes of going from point A TO B. THANKS jc
Hi Michelle, Love your video and inspirations Yes, your 'Gorgeous' eyes are something else! Wished my teachers looked like you when i was young I am a doctor but i definitely think your job is far superior than mine. Wished i had known some 35 years earlier.
Can I have my time over again please? As a child this was my fantasy job but circumstances didn't allow. Close to the end of my career now, but I still think this has to be a great career choice for so many people. And BTW, your sense of humour comes over wonderfully in your videos. Keep up the good and entertaining work.
Thanks for uploading videos it really helps and you give good advice for aspiring pilots like me 👍🏻❤️
Glad you like my videos Brooke! All the best with your training!
DutchPilotGirl I hope to start training in 2 years time, so when I’m 18 but you help me to learn some things about becoming a pilot. I’ve nearly watched all of your videos on your channel.
@@brookewelham7862 even I am starting my training in 2 years
@@brookewelham7862 have you decided any flight school ?
Murtuza. M Kagalwala not yet, I don’t know what country I would like to study in. Have you?
I'm starting at an aviation academy in August, watching your videos and Captain Joe's are always so interesting and I'm looking forward to flying commercially in a few years! Thank you both!
Good luck with your training!
Danny, Good luck with your training and career! Training is challenging and expensive, but definitely worth it. Aviation can be a tough business, often tied to economic conditions, but if you love it and are persistent it will be a wonderful life!
For someone who is rather afraid of flying (me) you make some good points for the pros of it. When I do fly I must have a window seat for the views, the cockpit views must be truly awesome as you describe.
Magnificent. The video and the videographer...
I am mariner by profession and i too love my job so so much☺ my job is very much similar to your job🙂
Amazing 💗
Thank you so much for this video, now a days so many people are sensationalizing this pandemic and even some pilots are spreading unnecessary negativity about the job. You are being reasonable and positive, please bring more of such positive videos , I am in pilot training right now so it really helps to hear to positive and rational people like you instead of whining people who make videos just to complain about their job.
Good luck with your training!
Love hearing your point of view. Wanted to be a pilot all my life. Now private pilot and enjoying my Cessna! Enjoy every ride in the big jets.
I always feel more secure with a female flight crew. It seems to go smoother and less stressful. Keep up the good work and continue the videos. My grand daughter is 13 and watches your videos. I believe she will announce her plans to fly pretty soon. All thanks to you.
Thank you for your kind words!
Hi my favorite Dutch pilot girl! Hope you’re well! 😎
4:14 finally someone appreciates us
As a ongoing pilot student even after the threats by corona I won’t give up! This video made me realise why:)
Well done video
Great video
Thank you so much for those videos :) Can you make a video about what you find the most difficult about the job? or 10 worst? I am in the process of of deciding to go for a pilots license and would love to learn from you :)
About flying, it’s the whole community that’s attractive. People, places and things that happen, during the day or in the middle of the night! Really boring being stuck here in Brazil now in a small town...
I really like your accent and in love with your videos👍
You perfectly described the 8yrs in USAF and 30 yrs with TWA I enjoyed. I hope you enjoy a long happy life in the air.
it would be nice if you made the ten worst things about being a pilot.....P.S love your content❤
Would love to hear the 10 worst things.....thank you for your videos, they're great. John M.
I'd imagine that job-security is one of the major ones at the moment. Getting in with the right airline must be paramount.
You're a great motivator for anyone who might be thinking or dreaming of aviation as a career, especially young girls like Paula below in the comments. Keep posting your videos and content, and thanks! Fly Safe and Have Fun.
Thanks Rick, it means a lot!
I bought the 'Android App'. There are other apps out there, but your's is the sleekest, smoothest, and most pleasurable to use, and defiantly look at. Thanks', that app made my day yesterday. BRILLIANT!
Hi Wayne, so nice to hear that! Thank you!
*As Joe says,A good pilot is always learning ❤️💯💯*
7:00 lol i dream about becoming a pilot i think interest in physical training is somewhat important
i was interesting in your lecture.i got new informations.
I had to stop (1:17) and make a statement about flying being addictive. Yes! A few years I did introductory flight and did again in this year for my birthday (May 14 2020). And boy. You just want to fly and learn more about it all the time.
Wonderful
I wanna be a pilot. Michelle, you are my inspiration
She's also my inspiration
Not just for you^^
Great to hear guys
I always enjoy your videos :) i'm well, how are you? :) xxxx
I am good thanks! Glad you like my videos!
I'm 59 years of age and a career as a pilot was always my dream. Things were different back in the 1970/80's. My life took different turns and I ended up following a different career path, which I love and which gives me many of the benefits; however if I had the opportunity to do everything again... I'd definitely make your lifestyle choices and become a pilot. I love your presentational skills and the ambience of this channel.
Great video. Hope that you are back in the cockpit and flying again soon
Thanks! Me too 😎
Best chanel ever
At the end of the day it is all about BOEING a pilot
Oh boy...
Do you mean almost every pilot becomes a Boeing pilot instead of Airbus or other type of aircraft,, because of the dominancy
@@satish8299 currently, airbus' position is a bit better than Boeing's (737 MAX did it's part of that), so I wouldn't say that
