  • problem starts when they grow little tall ( say 4th week), u can't trim them , they will left with only the stem, which makes the purpose fail. So for 2-4 weeks you will enjoy after that you have to dismantle the aquarium.

    • If u know the Hobby U should know that this plant will die under water and that a betta fish should be kept with swimming plants and plants to hide.

    • @@vikasjadhav3299 No it dies anyway because this is not a water plant. If u want a carpet Like this u have to plant montecarlo or HCC but Not this seeds. Many have tried them, but all of them died at least after one month. Google will help. And this is definetly not enough place to hide.

    • Styrokosh wrong info , yes u can I would advise a taller tank and a tank over 40 gallons , provide hiding spots (lots ) and mainly people have crayfish with predator fish . Unless dawrf then maybe community but mostly predator

  • Is there co2 dosed to the tank? Is there fertilisers dosed to the tank? If so, what fertilisers? Was the tank open whilst first 6 day growth occured? What kind of spectrum light is there and what power on what volume of the tank. What kind of substrate is used? What is Gh of the water? What is the carpet palant spieces used? How did You prepared the moss tree? Was it prepared in the different tank?

    • Thank you! You can throw a fish in a tank of tap water and take pictures, but how long will the fish live? I didn't see any filter material, and cycling, how long were the plants immersed and was there any die-off? How was the water treated, what are the water parameters?

    • @@shans606 don't you know tap water is bad for fish they will die from the chlorine poison and their gills will turn red and much harder for them to breath so pick a dechlorinated water from hose with algae

    • Pay attention to the plant then...that one is nice for 2 or 3 weeks, then it grows, and dies. It's not a real aquatic carpet plant. Most carpet plants needs Co2.

  • This plant doesn't live long. And it needs CO². I did mine and it lasted less than a month without CO². I looks beautiful but, it's useless when you have no CO² setup.

    • @@adrianojl I'm not entirely sure they were named Grass seeds. I think they shipped from China, but I bought them from a carrier on Amazon in not the Amazon link he posts on here.

    • @@Pooranikannan I use a suction vacuum in pretty much clean it the same as anyone would, the only difference is when you're cleaning with the vacuum over a planting area of the tank you have to go over it very gently and lightly so you want agitate or uproot the plants. Also be very careful when vacuuming over the plant's when they haven't matured yet because they are very easy to uproot but other then that you just have to be a lot more gentle and careful with planted tanks that's what worked for me so far. If you go to my channel I documented planting my aquarium tank.

    • @@Pooranikannan also the time gap of how often you clean your aquarium is dependent upon different variables. Like how many fish you have, rather you have algae eaters or snails that helps a tank stay cleaner longer. But as for me I usually clean once every week or two weeks but it really dependent upon my tank perimeters when I water test my aquarium if the nitrates are going up I usually do 30% water change and clean my tank, if ph is too high or low sometimes I may clean and change water also add water conditioner.
