  • For those who've studied psychology, this interview is even more fascinating. IMO...Russell is a 'super empath", capable of sizing people up instantaneously. Empaths have the gift/curse of feeling other's emotions, picking up all non-verbal communication, and are extremely sensitive to the point where nothing gets by them. They are extreme opposite of the narcissistic personality. They are the antidote...difficult to manipulate and control, which narcs MUST HAVE. That is why this went so bad for Mika. He has her number, knows her better than some people who have known her all their life. She is inauthentic, superficial, egomaniacal, and self-obsessed. He lives to bring those people down to Earth. It's part of this therapy. Russell is a sensitive soul who was either emotionally abused in some way I believe. He became addicted (very common for high empathy folks) to deal with it, and that is why he is loved. He is authentic, open, bares his emotions, where her existence (in her mind) depends on never showing vulnerability. Fascinating stuff. I am a much less talented version of Russell, who can't afford the psychiatrist I need. Brand is one of my heroes.

  • interesting comments - in retrospect. It is also worth noting that this man - no matter what you are being persuaded to think about him - has (as at time of writing) not been charged or convicted of any crime. however, comments and reactions - especially in the UK press have created the impression that he is guilty of all the accusations laid against him. He is embarrassingly course at times (so are a lot of comedians, artists and blokes in the pub) but so far not one allegation against him has been proven. Also, the documentary which started this witch-hunt was made by Channel 4 and Rupert Murdoch's Sunday Times. Both are purveyors of some of the most morally lax and distasteful content in the media. That's only my opinion. Having worked for both I have some insight into this. Oh the hypocrisy and the Irony. We need to stop this trial by media and the police should either decide there is a case to answer or shut up.

    • Yes, it's interesting how these accusations have only "come to light" *after* Brand made a successful career of criticising powerful politicians, tycoons and media moguls... Meanwhile no consequences for the majority of Epstein's clients...
