    • The saddest part is that it was a black cop dealing with a black child, treating his minor infraction that children do as if he was an adult who was doing something unimaginable On the flip side, and clown world, when a full-grown adult shoots at the police and then gets killed, the same community treats it as if he was just a child who didn't know any better. Now the way does poor child was treated, he'll probably grow up to be another statistic because now he'll have this memory of police just being assholes

    • Thank god some people actually realize this. Even if a kid is spoiled, you can discipline them in other ways that don't require getting physical (which when it happened to me as a kid, it escalated into abuse). My stepfather grounded me when I did something wrong, he knew my biological father abused me so he refused to hit me. I turned out alright. People who say that the only way to discipline a child is by physically harming them obviously don't know that it can escalate to actual abuse. My biological father spanked me, it quickly escalated to him beating me with shoes and throwing his shoes at me. He even put out cigarettes on my head, with the burn scars still here albeit healed now. My past is why I won't get physical with disciplining my children when I have kids of my own. I'll ground them, take away certain privileges, or just talk with them. I'd rather not have my own kids fear me because it makes me no better than my biological father in my eyes

Humans are animals. we learn from rememberable moments.. moments like getting hurt, emotional moments being scared... it a human/animal nature not to listen to words/sounds. Words do not prevent issues. actions do something you can look back on and determine if it was a good ideal. Like spanking or a punishment of some short no phone, no TV stuck in a room or not being spoiled for a week... People act like one mistake boom huge spanking that not what happening.. the spankings come after muiple words said.... for most kids who get raised with no discipline of some short, they are not going to have a single ideal.
