    • FACTS: What are recognized borders of Armenia according to UN? The recognized borders of Armenia according to the United Nations encompass the territory that was internationally recognized as part of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic within the former Soviet Union prior to its independence in 1991. These borders generally correspond to the administrative boundaries of the Republic of Armenia as it declared independence. While Nagorno-Karabakh was de facto controlled by ethnic Armenian forces, it is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan's territory. The United Nations, like most of the international community, does not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state and considers it part of Azerbaijan's sovereign territory. What are recognized borders of Azerbaijan according to UN? United Nations recognizes the borders of Azerbaijan as those defined by international agreements and relevant UN resolutions. For Azerbaijan, the internationally recognized borders generally encompass the territory of the country as it was before the outbreak of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This includes the regions of Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas, which are internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan. Everyone (USA, EU, UN, other reasonable countries) recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan - there is no doubt that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. Armenia has previously (1991-1994) occupied that part, and Azerbaijan regained it in 2020.

  • Here we see brave Kurdish women, true feminists, honest, kind and humble warriors standing up to the regime and for freedom of speech, for democracy for life. So much we can learn from them. Wonder if college campuses in EU or U.S. learn about them or protest for their cause? The Kurds fought and drove fear into ISIS. Does the world, the UN acknowledge this? We probably don’t appreciate how much they’ve done for democracy and the stop of terrorists like ISIS.

Rojava could be the example of equal society for modern world. We do not need Western world to fetishize Kurdish female fighter instead we need genuine people to understand and support our cause in any way because our people are tired of suffering and dying.

  • These are true freedom fighters; they fight for very basic right: to be recognized in your life, culture, and language, to have your own opinion and say on how and who govern you. It all comes down to that: to take to arm and climb up to the mountains. This is what you are forced to do when your land and people are shrouded by the big but underdeveloped and oppressive peoples. In the politics of the Kurds, mountains do not represent places of leisure, but of struggle and free space they reason they are familiar with the mountains as you suggest is that they have had no friends but mountains and the mountains still stand despite all technological superiorities of the enemies. In all these, the Qandil Mountains are the grand symbol.

  • I'm Iranian & I agree with Kurds having their country, but remember turkey has nearly 30% of all Kurdistan ,they would rather kill all their Kurds than letting them separate from turkey, I think for Iran and Iraq it's acceptable to have Kurdistan in between us, I think these 3 countries plus Syrian government would not let Kurdistan to emerge peacefully if they are sure at least one or maybe two of them would not agree with their Kurdistan being a split from their country, at least not with out a fight. Kurds have high warrior spirit, they have high _Maram_ this word doesn't exist in English but because of their cultural characteristics people respect them a lot as an ethnicity, this is why it would be sad to go in war against them. Also remember these 4 countries contains of other smaller ethnicities, there are Armenians, Assyrians, Baluchis, Kaldanis, Georgians, yazidis, tatars, Lurs & Azeri minorites which would want to also separate from these countries if Kurds managed to do so, and this would bring a 100 year of instability to the region.
