Amazing art.
G,day from down under Nigel, like your style, straight to the point, and those machines you got are seriously good stuff, watched some of your other vids making different stuff, great also! dont go changing.
good job, Nigel, let's work together to help more blacksmith can own good forging tools .
Nice market trader spiel, haha. Look forward to the video on the the die blocks.
Could you make a video about the Anyang 40kg hammer please
Those Messy drop hammer for sell? Or not
Great looking tools just wandering what type of oil you run in your small Anyang cheers
Hi Pete some people use ram oil but i use 15w light oil ,you will see if its to thick as it will not pump up easy .the more you run the hammer in the better they get ,
@NigelBarnettArtistBlacksmith thanks for the reply Nigel much appreciated
hi thin ram oil or it will not suck it up
Is that Nigel or “Del Boy”, Joking aside, love your work and your forge. Take care and stay safe both of you. Cheers, Dave.
hi Dave keep trying to help my fellow blacksmiths .good to here from you stay safe and keep forging .
Can I use that coolant in my TIG cooler, would that be better is a guy just has one cooler?
Hi Kevin it depends on the coolant you use as some tig coolant degrades in induction heaters and blocks them up .i will do some more filming for you and explain more .
What would you recommend to be the max sizes to forge on the 15 and 25?
hi 16mmon 15 kw and 20mm on 25kw but will do more depending on how long the heat is .
Thanks for the quick reply. Can you elaborate? I’ve seen the producers max it out on 35mm and 48mm round, but user feedback always seems better. Edit, I am talking about the power hammers, to be clear. 😅
to do that size i use a 40kw machine .
@@NigelBarnettArtistBlacksmith are you talking about the Anyang power hammers or the induction forges? I’m looking at the power hammers.
induction heaters .power hammers 15kg i forge 25-30mm 25 kg up to 50mm but metal would need to have a good heat .main thing with a 25kg is the dies are bigger so you have more choice of dies .i will film them all working for you .
Lol maybe my hearing is bad but did you say croutons 😂
Whers my Hammer 😍
