A friend comes hunting to Spain and we chase a wide range of animals with the bow for a few days. I am lucky to live in a country with such a variety of hunting opportunities, a great place to get introduced to bowhunting.
We begin hunting Beceite ibex in Teruel, then we go chase some mouflon rams and end up hunting the iconic Gredos Ibex.
As lucky as we were with some really close chances, we experienced the unluckiest thing that has ever happened to a bowhunter in history...

  • Bummer luck but Nicolai took it like a champ. Hr seems like an awesome I've, positive guy. Good on him. FWIW, I've been a river rat my whole life and been running rivers self supported for over 30 years... I wouldn't jump in that water in my dry-suit and vest unless someone's life was at stake and I had my buddy with throw-bags watching me. Absolutely crazy... amazing footage.

  • I feel your pain Pedro! I have similar experience years ago, I shot an elk with bow in a late season hunt in December. The elk rolled off a cliff into rain swollen river, I was able to recover it but was very wet and cold!

  • Muy buen video y espero que encontréis ese precioso ejemplar. Una pregunta sobre rececho de macho montés. ¿Cuanto les dura el celo?. Aquí en la zona norte de Andalucía se comenta que es de mediados de noviembre a mediados de diciembre, pero he leído que también están en celo en enero. ¿Cuál es la respuesta cierta?.
