Between the liquid air and silicone... Which is thinner? Which is more rigid around the edges (less flexible) and tighter fitting (no looseness). Thanks!
I just got the tough armor case till I could find my favorite cases the OtterBox Commuter Series cases cause everywhere I've looked they're sold out.
Best Spigen case review for the S10+, hands down. Exactly what I needed to see: the design up front on the phone. No BS, straight to the point and moving on. This helped me pick which cases I wanted. Thanks!
Should the slim fit protect when dropped from around 1 meter?
Is there the three pieces case thin fit classic? I dont See it
@MobileSyrup Can you go more in-depth on the difference between the Ultra Hybrid and Liquid Crystal ones? Really planning on buying one of those two.
I'd say the most significant difference is that the Liquid Crystal is stickier than the Ultra Hybrid. I have more detailed written story on our site, too. ^Patrick mobilesyrup.com/2019/02/25/spigen-samsung-galaxy-s10-s10-s10e-cases/
I have the rugged armour for my S9, and I love it. Does Spigen make any cases with a front cover attachment also included with the case?
@Wicked Ridge thanks
Finally Spigen cases, been waiting for this... But why the rush? Could have spend more time on each case...
There were lots of cases to go through and I didn't want the video to hit the 15-minute mark lol. If there's a specific case you want to know more about, let me know. I also have this written hands-on with the cases. ^Patrick mobilesyrup.com/2019/02/25/spigen-samsung-galaxy-s10-s10-s10e-cases/
does it cover the edge screen?
Guys, Flossy Carter just uploaded a more detailed S10 Spigen case vid
What is the 4th case from left? the basic black one
Do the buttons on the case protrude or is it just a silicone mold that goes over the phones buttons? I like my case buttons to be a bit clicky
The cutouts are pretty precise. I'd say that have a fair amount of click to them. ^Patrick
Great Video! How does it fair with screen protectors?
I have the included screen protector on my S10 in the video and it didn't cause any issues at all. ^Patrick
Do these cases fit well when a screen protector is used? Or do they pop it off?!
Mine fits perfectly!
When you unlock your phone with the new fingerprint scanner dont hold down on it just tap it for quicker response
That's not how it works. You need to hold your finger for a little longer than just a quick tap, as well as apply a little bit of pressure. The S10 I used in this video was a prototype device that was experiencing issues with the scanner. I've since swapped it out with Samsung. ^Patrick
@@mobilesyrup I've 2 other videos on the fingerprint scanner and they're just tapping away on it and it unlocks faster probably depends on model or region
Tapping is not really working for me. Doesn't really recognize my fingerprints :(
Nice Video ..... i'm not sure u told us the name of your favourite case
I love my Spigen Liquid Air case I installed on my Samsung Galaxy s10e I upgraded to in December 2020! Very grippy, nice and thin like the phone, slides easily in and out of my pocket, and looks great. Highly recommend!!
Is the default screen protector on your phone when you film this video ?
It is. I'm taking it off when I film the video review, but I left it on in this case. ^Patrick
I have the Ultra hybrid with black edges and it looks soooooo good. However, I just ordered the tech21 evo check case because they really protect your phone (had them before) and remember that the screen of the s10 is EVERYTHING. So you can have any of this spigen's cases but if you have extra bucks, cop a tech21 evo check. I will eventually buy the white stone screen protector. I definitely don't want any cracks on this device.
been waiting for this vid for so long!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^Patrick
How well do these cases work with the curved screen?? I'm scared incase the curved edges are exposed
The edges are pretty exposed, so you'd still be able to use the edges. ^Patrick
Thanks! Been waiting for this video, I'll be getting the rugged armor.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^Patrick
I would have hoped you grouped them from most to least drop protection and reviewed in that order as well as should have talked about face down raised lip screen protection. I would also have liked a width comparison side by side for the groups of most/medium/slim drop protection. I mean its a decent video but come on for a few more minutes of video length you could have done a much better job of showcasing/comparing the cases. Im considering the tough armor and the rugged armor and you did them 1st and last, which just doesnt make sense. I would have liked to see them side by side and you talk about which is better in your opinion and why etc. I would also like to see people use a scale and weigh them real quick as they review them and so people can see which similar ones are heavier and by how much etc. Flossy Carter did a much better job showing wireless charging/reverse charging and other features you didnt talk about. Again thumbs up for the effort but hoping for better/more info and will hope you include some more of the info I asked for in future showcasing videos.
Does the thin ones have a lip to protect the screen?
It does. The lip is very slight though. ^Patrick
Yes. My Liquid Air is perfect with my screen protector on my S10e.
Great video, I think im going to go with the rugged armor for my s10e!
Not all spigen cases are present here. I have the spigen la manon case. Its the perfect case! Thin, but not too thin, and doesn't have the sharp edges that cut into your hands like the spigen liquid crystal case (that case has the same thickness). I tested a lot thin cases.
La manon case? What do u mean?
@@sgabil that is a case for the s10plus. Search for it on Google :)
Rugged Armor and Tough Armor are the best in spigen cases lines. I have the Rugged armor really good 👍 and awesome . Looks good in your hand.
What is 3:00 case?
I recommended for the spigen case liquid air, it looks great for s10 plus, and will not give extra weight. Especially for big phones
I second!!
show us if it covers the screen fully
What case specifically? All of the cases I checked out are edge to edge. ^Patrick
I'll be getting the black edged clear case.
same
@@mattmtz3774 Nice! ^Patrick
Hey, in your opinion which is the one that most protects the phone?
Agree. Can someone answer this coz I pre-ordered and want to make sure I buy the best one. Thanks! 😁
@@borjanoel08 Black edged clear one.
OtterBox cases are really good option if you want the extra protection. The Defender series is the most rugged.
@@peteblz OtterBox cases definitely offer a lot of protection, but they're incredibly ugly. ^Patrick
I'd go with the Liquid Air. It doesn't ad a lot of bulk to the phone but still provides ample protection. ^Patrick
Steve L I agree.. a case review should be more than just the look. Example how much front lip does the case have for front drop protection? Also I was curious about the Neo hybrid is the sides that shiney material or the rubber for the grip factor!? Looks like you take your channel and reviews serious so please take note. The small details is why I subscribe to a channel. Just saying
I didn't see you slap the ultra hybrid case on with the black lining
Doesn't really go into much detail such as whether there's support for wireless charging etc
I know this is late but I'm pretty sure all them support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging
I went and ordered the blacj NeoHybrid, but looking at your video I'm thinking I should have grabbed the Gunmetal version, love that 2-tone look. I think the black version and phone in night mode will be quite stealthy and sexy though.
I also was going to order the black neo hybrid, but was disappointed to see that the back looks more grey than black. Caseology Parallax is another option.
The Gunmetal version really is a pretty sick looking case. ^Patrick
I need to know how the white s10+ looks like in one of these black cases. Will the white show on the sides? Someone please help lol.
So the white peaks out a little bit on the side, but not by much. ^Patrick
Thank you. I love the black cases but didn’t want to get the black s10+ because the white was so different and nice looking
thank you
can you still charge wireless with the case?
Yes
I've had one of Spigen's cases for my S8+ and I can confirm you can, the case doesn't hinder the use of wireless charging
Yup, it still works. I've tested this out. ^Patrick
tough armor thx u
Can I have one case for my s10 plus? 😊😊😊
where's the airskin?
Spigen doesn't sell an 'AirSkin' case as far as I know. ^Patrick
Spigen tough armor case is the best.
The Tough Armor is definitely a good option. I find it a bit too bulky though. ^Patrick
Need to show how much of a lip these cases have. I always look at that before purchasing one.
They all have a pretty substantial lip that protects the display. ^Patrick
tough armor is too heavy for daily use.
6:47 your fav case barely protects your device. 1 drop on a surface that isn't carpet and your phone goes out flying. serves basically no purpose except for preventing scratches if you placed it in your pocket with some change in it.
Don't be a dick it's just the guys choice hahaha
I'm not denying that. It protects the rear of the device and the corners, but leaves a huge gap at the top. I don't really drop my phone so adding a bulky case to it isn't something I usually want to do. ^Patrick
I just can't do spigen cases. I bought a $1000 phone, I'm not trying to protect it with something that cost $15 lol. I had the tough armor and jesus, no way I would trust that case with this phone. One good drop and good bye screen.
Why not just introduce some cases from another company, Spigen is boring lol.
Mentions favorite case but doesn't say what it's called. Rather than looking for it, just going to give a well deserved thumbs down.
He says it dude 6:31
It's right in the video. Try listening harder next time. ^Patrick
