You omitted to test a really crucial aspect of the cases - testing the cutouts. For example, it is well worth testing a headset 3mm jack as a surprising number of even good quality cases have insufficient space to accommodate some headphones. I don't expect to have to drill a hole in an expensive case to widen it, but it does happen!
The one my eyes and hands like the most is the no case at all case. The one my heart and my pockets like the most is any case with hard, raised, protruding edges and as many layers of protection as I can get.

I have used the Supcase Unicorn Beatle on my last two phones and they are tanks. Just put one on my S10+ and love it so far. Seems similar to the Pelican case in that it’s a two piece design.

I'm really surprised there wasn't one single Spigen in the lot. I've used them on my last three Galaxys and they did and do a great job of protecting the phone without adding too much bulk. They are also very reasonably priced. My latest on my S10 is the Spigen Liquid Air Armor.

The pelican cases are great buys I got a clear one for Christmas for my s10 plus and it's held up really really and it really protects the phone from drops

I have always loved my oterrboxes but they dont come with screen protectors no more and I hate that...sure didnt make them any cheaper either
I'm a fan of using a tempered glass screen protector with a case.

I've always used the otterbox defender series because of the screen protector I just felt safer because jm so clumsy! What exactly will a tempered glass screen protector do ? I have a life proof case on it now but I find it doesnt have as much grip !

Just got my otterbox defender screenless today for the Samsung Galaxy s10 plus got the phone 3 days ago haven't been able to use it till now.

@@Christian-oi7sd I know what you mean I didnt use my phone till I got the case I personally love it just a bit of advice the case doesn't fully protect screen it can still get some scratches I got a few nothing noticable while its on the built in screen protector hopefully helps hope I'm lucky and none of the scratches are on the glass. I was lucky when I bought the Samsung tab s6 when I got that I got the case the same day tablet arrived. For my phone it took a week was so hard not to use it I I literally kept it in the box too it out a few times..
I've used Speck for my s8 . I have just got an s10 and this helped.
i like the first one and zero lemon case with embedded charger.
the spigen tough armor case is nice. i use the little kickstand on a daily basis

I have a UAG on my S7 edge. 3 years. No damage or discoloration.. so when I got my s10 I immediately ordered UAG. Best case ever, makes the phone look and feel more premium

Great video! Really like the descriptions and giving your personal preference. Trying to find a flip case but one that is solid and shock proof. Get that lil extra anti scratch protection in the pocket or on surfaces. Also, thank you for putting in the time stamp links. So helpful to go back and forth when you can't decide between the options and need that refresher. I need to figure out how to do that in my vids lol. Totally earned this subscribe and like :)

Thanks for the case review! Just a question: How's the in-hand feel of the Pelican Shield case? I know it boasts being made of "Kevlar" fibers (however that's supposed to help) but do you find it slippery, or grippy, in comparison to the OtterBox Defender?
It’s not as grippy as the Defender due to the materials. The sides of the Pelican help with grip. The back isn’t too slippery. Just smooth. Hope that helps. Thanks for asking!

hey great reviews of cases. Otterbox has always been my go to specifically the defender series. Have you tried the OtterBox Strada series? Was interested in that one
I have used it in the past and it’s not too bad. Not my style.
The otterbox defender is amazing to the point the front frame is FAR too thin, so thin at a point on the bottom will succumb to heat in weather 75F+ that will actually melt it causing it to break from the frame with the very low quality of plastic it was made out of. It would have been ideal if it would made out of metal instead that wouldn't melt apart due to average heat.
So do you actually test these or just show them i didnt really get any good info from this video just how they look lol like which ones actually protect your phone better?
Only problem with otter box defender is it is not whitestone dome compatible, the commuter is a little better about the whitestone dome glass but it peels corners up, please keep that in mind. I have spent at least 500 on cases and tempered glass screens and I still have not found one that is full compatible with whitestone dome. Please dont waste the 90 bucks on otterbox defender. That case cracks your wsd when placing the top part in and push to click the clicks.
what's your favorite kickstand case
I do not remember the name of the case, but it is a cheap case that I bought off Amazon. Not durable long term as I had to buy another one. They were the only ones making a case for the Samsung S5 Sport. The thing that I love about it is that it was a slide in for the belt holster. I was really hoping that Otterbox made something similar which actually brought me to your review. Thanks for the detailed review. Seems there is nothing else out there so I am going to go ahead and get the Otterbox. I am really gentle with my phones so alot of drops has not been the issue. I use the S9 in an Otter at work and it is such a hassle getting the phone in and out of the holster. In either case, thanks for your review. Have a nice day....

I highly suggest that you try Rhinoshild Crash Guard bumper case! It's a minimalist case but it dose a great job for drops! And it let's you enjoy the feel of your phone! I love it! Give it a try and I'm sure you'll love it as well

I have S10 Plus, Which among Caseology Parallax, Spigen Tough Armor, UAG Pathfinder and Monarch Case has best Side Edge Protection? I'm using Caseology Parallax which has Side Edge Raised above display but it has gone lose and Spigen Tough Armor which i love but it doesn't have that raised edge on sides as former.
I got the otterbox defender screenless I love it great quality.

Probably the biggest nit is that the Encased case was the only one where there was mention of how the case affects the use of the S10s edge panels. I wish that was done for each of the cases in the same way button feel was.

Just a heads up. The one they ship with does not cover the entire edge of the screen. No clue why they don't. I just got my 10s+. Not sure if they've changed it since you all got yours.
With the pelican "tank" one does the finger print sensor work? And will it make the phone heavier and fatter????
On the S10 Plus, the fingerprint sensor is in the screen itself. The case has no affect on the ability to use the sensor. I'm currently using this case and it doesn't beef it up too much. Sill had a nice slim feel. This is the only case I found for the S10 plus that has raised bezels above the screen on the sides. But it does take that beautiful curve screen look slightly away. And the back of this case is super slick. It's like holding a wet bar of soap. I had to add HexMag grip tape to the back of mine. It was a perfect solution.

Bane Tech they are like 13 bucks gently used on eBay. I own the s10 and I just got one. It’s nice but you can’t use wireless charging with the case on. The LED wears down the battery faster. It’s kind of a novelty case

I got a unicorn beetle case for my S10 plus which was meant to be a tough case but I dropped the phone 2weeks ago and the case shattered and so did my screen

You didn't review the best kinda case there is. The folio/wallet cases that offer front facing protection unlike 99% of the other competitors. Otterbox makes a folio case. I owned two of them. I'm currently using the MONASAY wallet case. I never have to worry about the most important part of my phone, The Screen, being scratched or broken. No way for it to be unless I took a sledge hammer too it maybe.
