She said later she didn't realise the extent of the issue and felt that the rules were being broken. • Different education systems in UK with a solid foundation from the start of primary school. Remember how Emma Watson answered questions on the Red carpets when the movie of Harry Potter (the 1st film released in Hollywood) she was like only 11 or 12 years old then? She also answered like a adult. I was so sure that these kids must have trained how to behave and answer questions properly... My English colleague told me that UK do have difference levels of education systems. He was born and educated in UK, then, married in the US and still lives here with kids and he knows the differences.

  • It’s very unusual in tennis to have this much success so early in a career. I truly hope that she stays grounded and surrounds herself with good people. I think the fact that she’s close to her parents will really help. She’s going to have to turn a lot of requests down right now, but she needs time to be an eighteen year old.

    • @@johnp515 it's just quite distasteful to only comment on an 18 year olds looks regarding how they look with or without makeup when they're doing an interview that has nothing to do with their looks. Their poise is very much part of an interview and as a tennis player, the interview is obviously about tennis too. There's no reason to make comments like that about an 18 year old. Just seemed like quite an objectification of her to only comment about her looks. People commenting about her smile doesn't have weird sexual or attractiveness undertones like talking about how good someone looks with or without makeup does.

    • lets not get that far ahead.. lots of players have one 1 grand slam title.. very few can string together a handful.. The talent is still fierce on the women side.. Naomi is only 23 vs Emma is 19.. last i check Naomi has 7 titles.. Emma still has some ways to go.. I wouldn't even consider her to be "could be" the queen of tennis.. lets see her win several more titles before saying she could be the queen.. theres alot of could be queens right now.. on the tour.. (ie. look no further than Bianca Andreescu.. was like 19-20 when she won the US open a couple of years ago..)

King was the one who announced on morning TV what had been said between Harry and the RF the previous day, which is why the RF won't speak to H on the phone. She was called out for it and both she and OW have been anti-RF and pro MM. They made no checks on the lies being spewed out by the dastardly duo They call themselves reporters? They are now dealing with the blowback. Everyone commented on Emma but for me it was the fact that she didn't once say 'like, like, like' every other word. I have visited the US quite a number of occasions, pre-covid, and all I ever heard was "like, like, kinda you know, like..." the commentators on the match were not even handed but Emma did it in two straight sets.
