In this video I went hot tent camping in a snowstorm. I have not been hot tent camping in a snowstorm since last fall and it was awesome! It all started with a mix of rain and snow with some wind. By the time my hot tent was set up it was snowing heavily and the wind started blowing 20-30 mph (9-13 m/s). The temperature was only 31°F (-0.5°C) but dropped to 24°F (-4.5°C) overnight. I cooked chili for dinner with a hot cup of apple cider to warm me up. I also tried out my new Pomoly Hussar Plus hot tent along with my Pomoly Lumberjack wood stove. It was a very successful trip and I had a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy the great winter weather like I did!

We should be able to rejoice when God is working in another person’s life. Yet we may see God bless someone in a tangible way, and we don’t think it’s fair. Maybe God begins to bless and use a certain individual, and we say, “Lord, wait a second. I have faithfully served You all these years. But this Johnny-come-lately pops up, and You’re blessing this person instead of me. It isn’t fair! I’m so much godlier than they are. I’m more committed than they are. And most of all, I’m humbler than they are.” However, we should rejoice that God is being glorified and that the gospel is being preached. Speaking about the body of Christ, the church, the apostle Paul wrote, “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:26-27) We need to guard against the petty jealousy and rivalry that we can so easily fall into. If God lifts up one of us and blesses us, we should rejoice. It doesn’t have to be you or me. What’s important is that God is the One who’s receiving the glory.

Думаю что даже при ваших небольших холодах, не стоит спать без хорошей изоляции от земли. А у вас ещё и спальник отличный! 👍 Я живу в 60 километров от озера Байкал. Зимы у нас холодные и поэтому мне всегда приятно видеть правильно разбитый лагерь и хорошо организованный ночлег!
Your setup looks so comfy, I live in a hilly north-eastern part of India where during winter we'd have to heat the water-lines with a gas torch to be able to get water for cooking in the morning but no snow at all. 20 years ago, my friends and I traveled around Asia and in the north of India somewhere towards Sarcha outside Manali. In the morning in August, we woke up covered in snow. We had to stretch one motorcycle, because the battery was already weak. We didn't have gloves, so socks were good for our hands. There I saw a group of Indians on a van, heating it from below with a fire.

Thank you! This is why I prefer camping in fall and winter. Snow makes the forest and mountains much more beautiful! My kids and I love that brand of cider. It is very good! The new tent is very roomy and has a lot of cool features. You could easily sleep 3 people with gear if you take out the inner tent.

Was going to ask the new stove seems more effort to build than the other pomoly do you prefer this one or do they both have pros cons ? Thanks Ric
@@Ricc131 This stove weighs a lot more than my T1 Mini and has a few extra steps in setup but I really like it. It can put out a lot of heat! I also like the space underneath for drying firewood and you can customize it by removing the bottom half of the stand. The little extensions on the sides are handy too.
Brilliant thanks for the information, I’m a bit more limited here in the U.K. to use a hot tent but is possible in the Scottish Highlands so something I may take up. Since Covid Wales and some other National parks have calmed down on wild camping as shall we say non outdoor day trippers left lots of mess hopefully things will settle again. Take care Ric 😊

Pushing Others Forward All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27) Think of what can happen if every Christian were to take that attitude. We should be able to rejoice when God is working in another person’s life. Yet we may see God bless someone in a tangible way, and we don’t think it’s fair. Maybe God begins to bless and use a certain individual, and we say, “Lord, wait a second. I have faithfully served You all these years. But this Johnny-come-lately pops up, and You’re blessing this person instead of me. It isn’t fair! I’m so much godlier than they are. I’m more committed than they are. And most of all, I’m humbler than they are.” However, we should rejoice that God is being glorified and that the gospel is being preached. Speaking about the body of Christ, the church, the apostle Paul wrote, “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:26-27) We need to guard against the petty jealousy and rivalry that we can so easily fall into. If God lifts up one of us and blesses us, we should rejoice. It doesn’t have to be you or me. What’s important is that God is the One who’s receiving the glory.
