Great lesson! Please, do more videos with C1/C2 vocabulary, I’m eager to learn more useful advanced words :)

I'm so lucky to stumble upon this channel !! Honestly as reader-oriented EFL learner I took those vocabulary for granted!! Thus what really caught my eyes or my ears to more precise with these videos is the conversational channel of communication for it gaves a glimpse to the natural lg. Keep up the good work !
Such video lessons with this level of accuracy are really few and far between on English learning channels. Thank you, Teacher Wes!
Glad to hear that! I appreciate your comment. 😊

Good evening dear and favorite teacher, as a diligent hunter of wess's videos i always relish them. I would like to add someting about the benefit of the doubt ; in criminal law, it's the principle of not convicting a person if decisive evidence is lacking . Thank you for your hard work
Glad you enjoyed the lesson and found it useful. Nice use of the expressions. 😊
Thank you :) Finally, I watched the video and learnt a couple new things.

You Rock Man ❤
Thanks so much! I really appreciate your comment. 😊
Thank you. You're a great teacher & I'll try to follow all your lessons. You taught linking the words in reading like, 'lot of'. I can read well, but I haven't paid attention to linking intentionally when I read. Will this linking come naturally if I read often? Since it makes me nervous while reading if I have to think of linking them.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
I thoroughly enjoy watching these videos, although I do wish the audio quality of your microphone was less distorted.
I appreciate your comment. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. 👍

I'd like to let you know, that your "portions" of idioms and different collocations usually require more time to be remembered than less elevated things. The main factor is, I guess, they are less common and almost unrecognizable in written or oral contexts. They are taken from upper shelves of English language culture. Thank you again, Wes.
My favorite teacher
Wow, thanks so much! I appreciate it, and I'm glad you enjoy the lessons. 😊
Loved this video lesson. Be my guess expression. I didn't know it was on the negative side or rude. Oops, I thought it was a friendly one. Make more of these videos, thank you 😊
Will do. Thanks for commenting & checking out the lesson. 👍
Thanks for great lessons I have a question, can per se be a synonym for the wrod "itself"?
per se = by itself
Lol I still can't believe that I've managed to reach fluency level just by watching such videos only, without having to attend any English classes!!! 😅 I feel like such videos should be used in English classes more especially where English isn't taught as the home language. Teachers should be there in class to make sure that students aren't misbehaving during the lesson 😊. In this way, students can get to learn proper English from the native English speakers 🎉. This is the idea that has been lingering on my mind and I hope that one day it will come to fruition. ❤
Happy to hear that! Thanks for your comment. 😊
I want to speak English like native. Thank you sir.

in Italian we give with the benefit of the doubt just a specular meaning : we trust pope Benedict but with the benefit of the doubt . We use per se exactly the same way .
Thanks for commenting & sharing. 👍
Hello Wes Does PER SE has the same use like IN AND OF ITSELF?
Good job

Hi Wes, hope you are doing well. Could you please tell me the meaning for the phrase 'if at all' and give me some examples to use it in a sentence as well. Thanks and appreciate all your fantastic teaching. Take care.
Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Often, this phrase is used with the word 'possible' (if at all possible). 👍 www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/if%20%28at%20all%29%20possible
Tnx Wes. Mighty kind of you.

Can an idiom be used literally? For example, if a sweater is hanging on a fence, can we say 'The sweater is on the fence?'
