► ABOUT ME:
Hi! I’m Aly, I'm from London, and I've been teaching English for more than 10 years. I love teaching English and helping YOU study English better and in a more fun way! I made this channel to help me apply for jobs, but now this IS my job, and here I am... happy as can be, with you lovely people! :) Let me know in the comments what you'd like to see in future videos!
#LearnEnglish #StudyEnglish #PapaTeachMe
Aly is bloody amazing and charming! I learned this phrase "bloody hell" from Netflix series "Lucifer" and then fall in love with British accent. XD
You ARE a BLOODY HELL kind of a GOOD teacher, Aly !
Having been born and raised in the Bronx, NY, this video could very easily be converted into an American English lesson if you simply replace the word "bloody" with one that begins with F (you know the one). The rules are exactly the same. For best results, don't pronounce the "g" at the end. Oh, and happy belated birthday, Aly!
Haha! I’ll leave that one to you, buddy! ✌️🤓
waw!
F... ing works for me too! 😁
I'm absolutely sure it also works in England )) thanx, mate, for your comment
you meant flipping right?
Your videos just get better and better. Still so criminally underrated.
You’re a bloody good teacher Ali, funny and enthusiastic. 👌🏻
This video is bloody hilarious as a big fan of 007! I bloody enjoyed it.
Bloody hell, man! You were in a bloody Bond movie? That made my bloody day! ;) More Bond films, please.
Which one is your favourite?
@@papateachme I'm an old-fashioned girl so Sean Connery and Roger Moore are my favourite Bonds. As for films 'Live and Let Die' and 'The Man with the Golden Gun' are on the top of my list. Somehow Daniel Craig has never won me over as Bond. Don't know really why. Maybe his films were packed with too much action scenes. I love action films. My favourite action film is 'Hitman: Agent 47'. The man who was responsible for action choreography is a genius in my opinion. I would love to move like that.
Ahhh! I haven’t seen agent 47 but I’ve been told I should do him 😂
@@papateachme I would love to see You in his film. Something to consider? What is your favourite Bond actor and Bond film? If it's not to bold to ask?
I think it's very important for me to mention that I found this video and will use it to write one line of dialogue for a late, English class assignment.
Wow! This edit is so cool. It looks so real and professional. I'm really glad you uploaded a new pronunciation lesson, I like the way you teach and act as well. You're cut out for this! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Keep it up💙! Edit: I stay home and I'm watching this bloody good lesson become it's bloody miserable outside! :))
Aly, your videos are always bloody cool!👍🔥😀 Thanks a lot!🙏
Bloody hell! This episode is bloody awesome.

Thank you, Phil Collins. Very informative.
One of your most hilarious videos yet! Put yourself in more movie scenes in future mate. Love it! PS: It IS bloody raining again now in Singapore!
Which other movies do you suggest? 🤔
@@papateachme Preferably something from a serious genre. Juxtaposing your brand of humour with that subverts expectations and makes for great hilarity! More James Bond will always be welcome. Then again, there's Kingsman!
@@papateachmeSome of movies with Jason Statham!💪🏽👍 He looks like your brother!😁
Bloody + adjective - My room is bloody messy! Bloody + noun - Did you buy another bloody videogame? Bloody + verb - Are you bloody sleeping again?! I’m not 100% sure about the first, I hope it’s ok Love your videos! Greetings from Argentina!! 🇦🇷

Это шикарно! Просто бесподобно)
Every time I watch your videos I crack up, man. Such bloody performances!
I absobloodylutely love it!
Hi Aly. Great lesson and very well done video. Anyhow, I happened to read that the origin and etymology of the word “bloody” has nothing to do with blood itself, but it’s the result, say, the corrupted and eroded version of a very old religious phrase/swear word that’s “by Our Lady”. By repeatedly pronouncing that expression, the phenomenon of economy/erosion 11:16 - i.e. the tendency to save as much as possible without loosing too much or even nothing - a phenomenon also concerning languages, has transformed and contracted through time the old expression into the contemporary word “bloody”. I very much believe in this etymological explanation bcs it is always difficult if not impossible to connect and idea of blood with the following adjective or noun. It makes more sense to think of a interjection originating from a popular phrase. Thanks Aly and thanks for yr fantastic work.
Bloody brilliant 😁👍
That all seems to apply perfectly to the f-word as well. Maybe also to the ch-word.
Ali you are the best Bond of all time!!😁👍😍

Poland has more universal word. "Coorvâ" . Means everything depends of context. Answers, questions, nouns, proverbs, owe, etc. Changing only emotionally stress and remember "r" its bloody "rhotic" in polish.
First of all, I've chuckled throughout the whole video. Amazing work, as always. Secondly, "my bloody tissue is covered in bloody blood!"
hello sir. Would you please help me with these phrases? Which sells (ch linked to s), wach show (ch - sh), fish sauce (sh - s), each sentence (ch - s), change some (j - s), changed some (jd - s). really need your help sir.
Today is mild. I know bloody scorching days will come in the summer... Translating "bloody" like in my sentence, can be slang swearing, at least in Spanish. I've seen this intensifier in comedy and films (like Ron Weasley, from Harry Potter, saying "bloody hell!") showing surprise, but also in sad or serious scenes showing annoyance or disapproval. Now, I know I can bloody use it also with verbs! XD
Thanks to you, I know what I'm going to watch tomorrow... the latest James Bond! Especially if it's a rainy Sunday, it'll be a bloody Sunday too! Hmmm... I think I have to use "Bloody sunday" carefully ! don't you ? lol !
I've been living in Australian and bloody hell took me ages to learn 🤣
Bloody cow! Bloody well-done!
Good morning teacher, Could you help me with this: Why in the word 'MONTH-OLD' do they pronounce month as if it were the letter T? I mean, they say MON-TOLD' why change the unvoiceless TH to a T sound? I'm very confused.
Sorry Americans, but British English is 100% bloody more charming... Love you, Aly!!! ❤️❤️
I really like a word when I have to do it again. Oh my gosh every bloody time.
Us Aussies use bloody too! Too bloody right we do!
Aussies also uses the word "Bloody" a lot! 🇦🇺
Bloody Nick. Bloody Al 😂An English lady I used to know liked to say "Bloody Nick" to us privately when she saw Nick coming into the shop to work.
Bloody Mary for me, please. Stirred, not shaken. 😂😂
Ahh, I get it, it's the British equivalent to the American "fuck'n" 😀
Bloody Hell! How did you manage to appear so ‘real’ in Casino Royale?!? Great job Aly
"You've got a boody baby!" 😂😂😂😂😂extremely hillarious moment. Makes immediately think in the kind of humour of Ricky Gervais (funny, inapropriate and...yes, British too lol) Many thanks for another great lesson!
