    • I agree completely!Animals are not a Christmas toy,by March shelters are overloaded with people returning them,because it was too much work.This is a ten plus year commitment,but unfortunately some focus don’t do a research before giving them as a gift 😢

    • TO BE CLEAR I don't know any of the people in these adorable film clips. They might all be protective, loving, and forever parents to their Dogs. It's also+ very scary to see living beings given as Christmas gifts. My heart literally aches when I think of all the Dogs & Cats & other precious and loving living beings who have their hearts broken when they start being treated badly completely unlike the initial excitement about them that naturally qqthey thought would be a way of life for them in their homes with their families. Some even get emotionally and physically abused, and some are even murdered. 😠😡🤬😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😠😡🤬 Please pray for these precious furred and featherd babies that just want what we want, to be safe, to love, and to be genuinely loved and loved FOREVER!!! NOT JUST ON FILM, OR WHEN PEOPLE ARE LOOKING❤

  • A pet is for life tho but too many get bored dont want the commitment my life would a very lonly life with my puppy bear hes 1 next year he recent got hit by moped driver on road thankgod he was not seriouly hurt hes my best friend he gets on my nerves sometimes but he puts up with me thankyou bear for the time we been together love u so much

  • Besides the fact that I truly hope these puppies will be loved and cared for their entire lives, I also hope they were all adopted and not purchased. There's too many strays out there to be buying animals. We need to remember animals are living, breathing, feeling a/k/a SENTIENT beings, not an inanimate object or the latest stupid accessory to be toted around like a handbag or jewelry. PLEASE love and respect your pets!!! They deserve it. ❤🙏

  • Most of the puppies you see in these videos were eventually re-homed or surrendered to shelters once the novelty wore out and the recipients realized it's a lot of work keeping a dog. It's like the joy you witnessed at a wedding until the divorce 😆

  • 2 years ago my husband and were given a puppy for Christmas. It was THE BEST PRESIDENT WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED. We love that little joy 24/7. He absolutely fits into our pack better than if he were born hear.

  • I wished these dogs would have come from pounds or rescues, but it appears most were bought. It was wonderful to see the excitement, and hopefully, once they get over the cuteness and the surprise, they will continue to love them for life. I know I'm being a little bit of a negative Nellie, but I have seen so many Christmas puppies dropped off at the pound, the roadside once they realize how much work and commitment a puppy is. Just keep this in mind before gifting a pet to someone. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  • I agree some wind up in the shelters. If any animal is thought of as a gift. It should be looked into completely before it is given. The shelters are too full.

  • Never buy a dog as a present. All puppy’s are cute. So many get given up or abandoned 😢I have had a dog for many years I look after them, they are my best mates. Please realise that this is at least a 10 year commitment.

  • Don't overlook an older dog for older family members. They are just as great as the "new cute puppy." Also, tone it down a bit with all the screaming. No wonder the puppy in second video was shaking. Question if he will be able to take care of a small puppy at all.

  • I personally would love one....? Many people agree that give a dog for Christmas is unfare,if has been not talk about before,for the person to be responsible for the dog....it is for life!!!   • Never give a living creature as a gift on Christmas or a birthday. Unless the person has expressly said they want that pet. It's horrifying how many Christmas pets are taken to shelters in January. So many people don't realize that animals have feelings and memories. They are not objects to be given casually or tossed aside. Also I want to comment that if someone gives you a pet, don't yell scream and shriek. It scares the poor animal.

  • I wish these people would understand that their screaming, yelling, and loud crying is not only scary for the animal but the high-pitched shrieking can hurt their ears. Imagine being a child in a strange place not understanding what's being said being grabbed and being scared. I also don't think animals given as gifts is a great idea. Shelters always fill up after Christmas due to people not wanting them once the 'new' wears off. As a vet tech, I see these issues all the time.
