Man I'm impressed by how natural the conversations with himself were. It's so hard to get them to seamlessly trade sentences over eachother when they're filmed separately
It's the little interjections and overlapping dialogue that makes it so seamless, I love it

@@massivechafehave you heard of a channel called Ryan George? His entire video structure and comedy sketches involve him pretty much talking to himself and they’re all really funny and really impressive
@@qaday123 they're cut separately without both constantly in frame, it's an entirely different technique (that's a lot easier to make flow naturally)
@@jamesdrummond7684 oh of course, very occasionally he does do them in the same room but yes, it is a different technique, I was just saying because of the similarities with having a conversation with what is pretty much a clone of yourself, and liked his content as well

that's literally what the OP said. "this is "Fifth Date Joel", which implies that he is a clone and also implies that there is at least 3 other clones for the second, third and fourth date. assuming that the "real" Joel went on the first date, but then again, the first date might have been a clone as well. there might be multiple clones going on multiple dates. this situation might already be out if control
