Flo Rida didn't make that part of the song, in fact Avicii made "Levels" before Flo Rida made "Good Feeling", and Flo Rida sampled "Levels" for "Good Feeling", but Avicii didn't make that part of the song either. That part of the song is sampled from another much older song from the 1960s named "Something's Got a Hold on Me" from singer Etta James. She is the original singer of that part of the song which both Avicii and Flo Rida sampled for their songs.

I cannot stress enough how many people would LOVE to see you come back and finish this mod, myself included, I know sometimes you decide not to finish playing an FNF mod or lose interest and that’s alright but this one is absolute peak and you’ll definitely not want to miss out on the later half of this mod, things get crazyyy 🎉 Hoping to see a part 2 sometime :D

For the song Alone, Luigi is actually mourning the loss of Mario, because he didnt have the courage to enter the mansion by himself, leading to Marios impending doom. He's stranded inside of a painting that he had been trapped inside of from king boo. That is why Luigi is in front of the mansion looking all sad, but the vision of Mario in a painting was just his depression getting the best of Luigis mind, making him think he is there. Its sad to me.

To elaborate more on Nourishing Blood: The reason why Flintstones is playing is because the opponent, named "Grand Dad", is from an NES bootleg of a Flintstones game. Everyone that suddenly appeared in the background is a reference to youtuber and Twitch streamer, Vargskelethor, who initially popularized the character. There's too much to go through but the ghostbusters logo behind GF is a reference to his album named Super Ghostbusters. Furthermore, the song contains a lot of sampling from other sources (You can hear Peanut Butter Jelly Time play), which is a reference to Siiva Gunner and how they used the meme in their songs. It honestly impresses me how much mario stuff this mod references. Everything from Content Cosmos is references to fan material for example; Dictator is reference to Secret History Mario where Mario is a dictator, and No Hope is a reference to a series of flash animations named Power Stars where Mario gets possessed by boos and goes on rampage.
Also it has an all stars motif Which of course it dose

I know this video is a bit old already but as one of the mods main artists it's really awesome to see you play this. Thanks so much and I'm really happy you enjoyed what you saw. We'd love to see you finish it as the latter half definitely has some of the best parts in the whole thing. Also as some people have said, if you do play the rest, pausing in each song will give you a short paragraph explaining the story/origin of the songs premise/characters, to keep you from being confused.
HE ACTUALLY PLAYED IT!!!. I honestly lost hope of him playing it after a month of the mod being published but I am GRATEFUL that he played it 🙏

@Oopsiedaisy712 The song originates from an old animation by HotDiggetyDemon titled "Luigi's Day Out" and features the version of luigi and mario found in the song. Me and many other people most likely came across it when we were all kids (when we had no idea what any of the jokes meant) but now it gives nostalgia to all the people that do remember watching it.
i was not expecting nostalgia to hit while watching this especially with racist mario 😭

I just gotta say the voicework for Horror!Mario is ON POINT. Like, anybody and everybody has just "done the Mario voice" for laughs, but this is on a whole other level.
28:32 Ryan, what you thought about this Mario is COMPLETELY wrong. Luigi is depressed that Mario is dead because King Boo imprisoned Mario and Luigi couldn't save him in time. Mario is calling out to him, as he misses Luigi just as much as Luigi misses him. Also, Daisy isn't in Luigi's Mansion. This song as a whole is based on a scrapped Game Over for the 1st Luigi's Mansion.
daisy is not even in the entire mod except for the intro of no party, which to be honest, is kind of disappointing. in golden land they could have switched wario (who is in the castle in phase 2) with daisy, since the main goal of mario land is to save daisy.

You should definitely go back and finish this. It is a mod ABSOLUTELY worth finishing.
Starman Slaughter is one of my favorite songs in the mod, and the first song that plays in my head when I think of the mod.
The reason why the songs all have their own lore is because they are all based on Mario Creepypastas / Media (also if you go into the pause menu it gives you a description about the song is based on.)
fun fact in overdue, the description is different in phase 2 than in phase 1, phase 2 giving us the lore of mr l
I love how each song has its own death screen as a reference to there original animations or creepypastas (The only death I haven’t seen yet is no hope)

Though it seems like Ryan didn't watch the original animation of which I forgot the name of so my apologies but probably best I don't as it's very graphical, but once again, would like to see Ryan react to their old videos that weren't censored lmao. I was going to say, that they even included the styles of the original characters in the singers on both sides which is so cool!

you want to talk underrated, look at "the end". no one talks about it and it is still my number one favourite song 2 tier lists later. and those tier lists have changed. in tier list 1, mario sing and game rythm 9 was 4th, but in tier list 2, oh god no is 4th.

hyped to see you playing this - so heres some friendly context for some of the freeplay songs! ‘nourishing blood’ features grand-dad, a version of mario from the title screen of a bootleg mario game, which is in actuality just an asset-swap of an nes flintstones game. the game was popularized by streamer Vinesauce Joel, which is why all the other characters are there, as they all tie back to him in some way. the pixelated situation features many other mario bootleg characters ‘mario sing and game rythm 8’ or whatever it is features another bootleg character, from a sonic-mario bootleg called somari. boyfriend and girlfriend are represented as pokèmon (pikachu and eevee respectively) ‘oh god no’ and ‘i hate you’ are connected songs telling the story of i hate you, a jokepasta about luigi having backstabbed mario by working with bowser instead, but people took the pasta seriously despite all the obvious cliches, and it reigns as one of the most beloved mario creepypasta things ‘apparition’ relates to the “every copy of super mario 64 is personalized” trend of a while back, specifically focusing on the wario apparition, a wario head that was one of the most popular of the ‘personalizations’ people made ‘last course’ features an oc by twitter user ScrubbDubb named “Turmoil.” The featured version of the character is outdated, but his story is that mario ate a mushroom that was entwined with yoshi code, and became a weird yoshi-mario-hybrid. ‘dark forest’ is based on another super mario world horror romhack called the’, but is also known as “coronation day” or “the coronation day”. in short, a forest spirit gets enraged at mario for using wood and such (if i remember correctly) and possesses peach’s body to attack mario for it ‘bad day’ is based on the youtube series “super bad mario”. i haven’t watched it myself, but i think it has the pixelated mario messing around with people and creatures of the real world ‘day out’ is based on hotdiggetydemon’s “luigi’s day out” animation, in which an edgy, vulgar mario is forced by his mom to take his younger brother out with him ‘dictator’ is based on an animated series by mashed called “secret histories”, which takes media - usually games - and makes a satirical like “story you never knew” take on it. for mario, it represents him as a dictator, with bowser and the koopas being the real good guys ‘race traitors’ is based on the “racist mario” animation, pretty infamous there ‘no hope’ is another series i personally haven’t seen, but it’s called “powerstar”, and from what i’ve heard, it’s about mario being possessed by boo’s, and gets used as vessel for them to steal powerstars and cause havoc and then ‘golden land’ is based on the main mod artist’s character, though i don’t know much regarding him besides that his (the character’s) name is GB really hope you play the rest of the mod (the whole thing is about 2 hours, so you’re roughly halfway through already!) looking forward to more :)
Golden land is based on super mario land 2, the first 30-45 seconds is the main theme for it
there's no real set in stone story for Coronation day, so anything we have in that game is up for interpretation
If you're still part of FNF community (or just following the videos of popular mods), then you know the modding community is still holding up FNF while the creators keep on working on the official game. But yeah, THIS is what FNF Sonic.exe should've been before it was unfortunately cancelled from bad direction, lack of motivation, leaks, controversy, drama, and over-bloating of fan-made OCs, but at least we got Mario's Madness getting updated to the max! And it's obvious that the mods that stay determined and shine through the darkness and toxicity of the community and fandom will shine the brightest with peak quality! But, thankfully, many of those days are behind us and the community and fandom is (slowly, but surely) regressing back to mods of creativity and randomness again instead of purely focused on horror, popular franchises, and so on. Also, if you didn't know by now, each "Island" in the Mario Overworld represents a part of Mario media, culture, and horror. Parodies, memes, animations, series, theories, creepypastas, and so on. (A mixture of the two, nowadays) :) (P.S. If you pause the game during a specific song, the pause menu will give you a little tidbit of information on the opponent your' going up against.)
If you're looking for more FNF mods to try, here's a few good ones: -Hotline 024 (It's a work in progress, but it has a banger soundtrack that pays tribute to some popular mods of the past couple years) -Vs. RetroSpecter (Also a work in progress, but features a banger soundtrack and unique character designs by the popular artist/KZheadr of the same name) -Baddies (Contains some problematic material, but is good nonetheless) -Doki Doki Takeover (Probably the best crossover to come out of the FNF community) -Super Mario Bros. Funk Mix Deluxe (Another epic crossover, this one paying tribute to the original NES Mario game)
Doki Doki Takeover is unironically mid honestly I played through the entirety of the mod and pretty much all of them were fogettable, the only good ones I remember were the remixes of already existing songs from other mods The other mods ye they're good
I remember Ryan playing DDTO, and RetroSpecter. Ddto is finished, and now has a ( possible?) spin off called ddto: bad ending, while retro has left the fnf community. He made a video about it a while back. Hotline 024 is good to, although Ryan’s played that too, but everyone is looking forward to another update.
Another addition i would add is Ourple guy v2
He should play "Vs Mofo" it's in my opinion the best OC mods, 99% is made by a single person with so much events and unique animation you would need to play it twice to notice them all and it's just a demo. The guy deserve to be known seriously, it doesn't even have a wiki page !

Seeing Ryan vibing again with some amazing FnF mod is just so fullfilling. I've missed this type of content so much, it's been so long but I am so glad he came back to it.
the fnf modding scene is still plenty active to this day and occasionally dropping big bangers i'd say are much better than the old ones. the only downside is that most(not all) of the biggest and best ones end up being horror related because modders know that's all that gets views on youtube
If I ever release a mod it’s gonna be completely original like back then with characters like whitty for example most the mods these days are either referencing a game or creepypasta Key word being if cause idk how to animate and it’ll take dedication to learn 😭
theres actually been quite a few banger oc mods over the last like about year it's just not always had the same level of coverage

@@randoman9122 Sad Fact: There are plenty of those mods coming out all of the time, but due to a controversy, Community Game blacklisted OC mods on his channel; he only plays highly requested ones, like 17bucks. Because he's still the biggest mod showcase channel, the exposure is heavily reduced.

Hey Ryan, since you're struggling with playing with WASD + arrow keys, I recommend using different keybinds such as DFJK or ASKL (you can customize them in the options in most mods), they're not too far apart and make it easy to deal with mechanics such as the spacebar (believe me, you're gonna see it a LOT in this mod), and they're also easier to play with compared to your current arrow key setup as some note patterns can be very tricky on it
