Here is the story(At least what I think) Huggy Wuggy was the girls favorite toy Her parents thought the toy was creepy so they threw it away when the girl was sleeping When the toy awoke it saw that it was in a trash can Poppy the doll(An invention by the evil scientists) tried to persuade it to come with her but huggy Wuggy still trusted his owner He went to his owners's (the girl's)house to return to his owner But he saw the girl unboxing a new stuffed toy He got shocked and he thought his owner didn't care about him but in reality she wasn't like that He saw the factory he was made in and he realized what he was Poppy and the scientists reached him and kidnapped him They turned him into a monster When the owner of huggy Wuggy realized her mistake she went looking for him in the factory (she knew it from her dream ,which was true) She found the Grab Pack She found a toy (Huggy Wuggy copy) in the factory and behind her was huggy wuggy He was in anger and agony He chased her and and she realized it and ran She came to a part of the factory which had a bridge connection The bridge was very shaky Huggy wuggy ran fast until he reached the bridge. The grab pack shot and pushed huggy wuggy down the bridge He fell down a long distance The owner girl had tears in her eyes at the fact of huggy wuggy dying Huggy wuggy fell until he reached the ground And the evil scientists and Poppy was waiting for him so they can fix and improve him TO BE CONTINUED................... Sorry if I'm wrong or not accurate

I know this isn't canon. But it's extremely sad to think that Huggy meant no harm. He's glad to see his owner and indeed wants to give her a hug. The puzzled look on his face as he falls to his death says it all. Heartbreaking

its interesting how everytime a new Horror game comes out with an monster like Huggy, or Bendy, or any other type of characters in a horror game that you are meant to be scared, There is always those that create an Version like this of them and try to make you feel sorry for them. Not saying its wrong to try and come up with your own story for these kinds of characters, just find it interesting how these kinds of Backstories always comes up with horror game characters.
Well from what we currently know Huggy is an experiment so we already know that he may have a pretty horrible back story, I love what this creator did though and they should definitely make more

What I mean is that Every enemy character in an horror game seem to need an tragic backstory, instead of just be an monster that we need to avoid. which have almost become an gliche now a days with indie horror games like Poppy's playhouse and Bendy and all the rest.

When I was nine, I watched these animations. I was super into Poppy playtime, and I thought Huggy Wuggy was the best character. I’ll never forget this. Thank you!

It is deep but this isnt the story, in the game youre not a kid nor a girl, your an employee of the company that went there after you received a letter saying "everyone thinks the staff disapeared 10 years ago, but we're still here" Basically, to get money, cientist are playing god and creating Actual creatures to be toys for children, but it got out of hand and the monsters apeared

@@dukebradoodle u already said it, every antagonist in every genre in every medium always has to have that tearjerker backstory. For what reason? to capture the mainstream. And what captures the mainstream, who mostly are just casuals, cheap shock value. "Oh wow didn't expect that PLOT TWIST, it's so amazing. Now I'mma just focus on that, turn off my mind and ignore all the plot holes of the said story, because PLOT TWIST" And no, just because you have a normal backstory doesn't make u a Mary Sue. If anything it's the opposite seriously, imagine the backstory of huggy was just a regular employee, low paid, in a toxic workplace, stupid policies and so on, got experimented on and then turned havoc to the company he's working with. and u can do whateveru want with him later on, whether he'd be a problem or join u. His reason if he turns on u, fuck the world. Then why would he join u, tired of everything and just wanted to end this. Simple, in that way u actually made him more sympathetic than just a cheap "backstory hoo hoo" cliche

This reminded me of what happened to Lotso in Toy Story but with such a hard twist. You've given something, essentially a monster that kills for sport something it wasn't even planned to have. A heart. On both a literal and metaphorical sense, cause you know. Living toys with actual blood and organic material. I love this.

Its been so long since I've seen this, I love you GH
I have a lot to say about this one... first, some context about myself. As a little girl, I always adored plush toys as I was taught by my mother to love them and keep them close in order to never lose them. I cried each and every time media depicted a tale about them being sapient (for instance, the classic Toy Story) whenever a sad moment would arise. I grew ever so connected to toys because of this part of my childhood, especially plushies. With that said, your interpretation of the story is like none I have ever seen so far. This brought me to the verge of tears, seeing a lost and abandoned little Huggy be offered mysterious help from another toy; transformed into the monstrous experiment we all know him as, all out of a desire to reunite with his childhood friend, yet overtaken by what I can only pick up as insanity from the lab’s treatment of him. Breaks my heart, this version of the story, I tell you... the stunning artwork tore my heartstrings from their chamber in my chest, not only because of the song inspiration and story, but because of my own personal memories. Thank you for imagining this, I’m honestly going to consider it a headcanon until the game’s further development. Love this masterpiece so much, got me emotional- 10/10, would want to actually give Huggy the hug his name so calls for again.
