ちょっと待って、ハギーワギーの素晴らしいアニメがあるって聞いて見てみたんだけどそんな軽い気持ちで見てはいけないものだった。まだ途中までしか見ていないけれどハギーワギーが女の子を襲いかけて一瞬我に返った瞬間、彼を箱で落としてしまった瞬間、2度も涙が溢れ出てきた。こんな心に訴えかけてくるアニメなんて見たことがない。すごい、すごすぎる。私の語彙力ではこの感情を全て言語化することは出来ないけれど、これは本当にすごい作品だと思う。

Sometimes it's really hard to feel the emotions of fictional characters even though I'm an empath, I really like it when I don't have to try to feel emotion for the characters. With the artstyle I could literally make a whole video unpacking every single thought that occurs in these characters minds. The expressions just seem so accurate to what the characters are thinking. It's easy to empathize with them because of how you draw the expressions

I love the background story you gave for 'Poppy'. It's very heartwrenching, the little boy had saved her from the loneliness she felt when her friends were taken away, and so in return, she literally saved him from being turned into a doll.

영상 잘보고갑니당! 3편이 제작 계획 없는것이 개인적으로 슬프긴하지만 ㅜㅜ ..어쩔 수 없기도하죠 딱 2편까지가 적당한것같고.. 남자애가 진실을 알았을때 반응이 너무 궁금하긴한데 큽.. 영상이 올라오자마자 달려왔는데 여전히 퀄이 엄청나요!! 1-2화 사이에 있던 일도 보게되어서 육성으로 헐 했어요ㄷㄷ 자연스럽게 이어지는거 진짜 대단합니다..존경스러워요

Poppy Playtime’s Backstory in a way is kinda like The Promised Neverland , kids live happily in an orphanage, then some get ‘adopted’ , truly getting turned into merchandise, Poppy ( Emma in this situation) finds out , so does Norman(The Black Haired boy in this ) , but in this , ‘Norman’ finds out later , one of the two best friends get shipped ( In this ‘Emma’ gets shipped instead of ‘Norman’ , and also , the Black haired girl at the start that becomes the Cat-Bee thingy is sorta like Conny , In this she is the first to get shipped that we know of and stuff.

In Part 1, Huggy doll is the boy from Part 2. When he is thrown away by girl's parents, he remembers when Poppy "abandoned" him at the orphanage. That is why, when Poppy reaches out to Huggy, he leaves her at first, because he's still upset at her when they were still humans. He did not know that she was trying to save him.

- @@callmeregi77 I mean, the boy in the shot where Poppy sees her human self protecting said boy looks hell of a lot like the boy in the orphanage. Plus, it makes sense chronologically. From what I remember, Huggy Wuggy was created after Poppy, so maybe they doubled down on the idea when they realized dolls were coming out of fashion and decided to make another toy using the remaining boy at the orphanage. Edit: The boy Poppy was protecting was also wearing the same blue shirt the boy was wearing at the start of part 2.

I think for me the boy is believing that Poppy locked him away from the lady so she could be adopted instead of him. He believes it's a personal betrayal when Poppy is trying to save him. This makes Poppy's fate even more sad because now that the one person who she was friends with and tried to save probably hates her now.

- @@jeweledjulez I don't think so. It looks like he saw the feer in poppy's ayes at the window. Something that's against the happiness she expressed back in the door. And in the flashback were the protagonist is protecting her toy friend from her. You can see poppy defending his unconscious friend, boud covered in blood before she gets transformed into a doll. I think the friend tried to save her but fails and dies in the process.

- Yo tengo una teoria, cuando poppy ve a la niña protegiendo a hugy(creo que se escribe asi)se ve a ella misma protegiendo a su amigo quien esta ensangrentado y herido, para mi tal vez el niño si vio la mirada de horror de poppy cuando fue adoptada y quiso buscarla entrando a la fabrica y por consecuencia termino muriendo a pesar poppy lo defendió hasta el final. Aunque creo que simplemente me estoy engañando a mí misma😢😓

I wish this was cannon. I want this to be cannon. You have taken a simple horror game with only 1 chapter and created something amazing, it really shows the sheer amount of creativity this fandom has, that you have. I have never before seen a short KZhead animation that has perfectly captured horror, drama, and emotion quite like this before. The music hits different and the art and animation was amazing. Truly amazing job m8 keep up the great work

- Thing is canonicity is whatever you believe it to be. It doesn't necessarily have to be the original timeline, rather it is its own separate if you choose it to be.

4:29 You know, what makes this worst is that if it’s *that* room, where “Poppy” found the papers of the experiments, the look on the boy’s face could be despair at realizing what she’s doing or that he thinks she doesn’t know what’s coming to her after finding the papers and piecing it together on both their inevitable fates, rather than betrayal of her leaving him

- I want to think that the boy thinks Poppy locked him in so that *she* could be adopted. The room with the papers is Stella’s (the girl in the wheelchair) room, and her door has a heart called “MOMMY” ( 3:29 ),but the room with the boy and Poppy doesnt have that heart. I’d say it was probably a place for some isolation.

작화가 정말로 수려합니다. 개인적으로 일본 아니메랑 서양의 카툰의 감성을 동시에 살렸다는 느낌을 받아서 되게 오묘하면서도 상당히 좋았습니다. 거기에 더불어 배경음악도 기승전결이 있어서 작중 분위기를 한껏 끌어올려주는 점도 마음에 들었습니다. 정말 계향님은 제가 봤던 그 어떤 애니메이터보다 훌륭한 솜씨를 가졌다고 생각합니다. 이런 작품을 세상에 내주셔서 감사합니다. 오래 활동하셨으면 좋겠습니다.

진짜 파피 플레이타임이랑 협업하면 좋겠다 진짜 여태 나왔던 팬 애니메이션중에 제일 퀄리티 높고 스토리도 그럴듯 해서 찐 스토리로 밀고나가도 될 것 같음 떡밥중에 아닌게 몇개 있긴 하지만 파피 스토리는 몇번을 봐도 슬프네,,

Combining 2 videos into one Poppy Playtime chapter 1 video is very creative, the transitions are smooth like a story of each character that makes us better understand the inner nature of each character as well as their past, so sad

theory: huggy wuggy is probably the same boy that poppy was friends with, in 0:23 he looked really upset with her after he looked at her face and noticed her red hair in his pov, and after he did poppy looked so mortified. Him looking at the window was probably the animator foreshadowing his feeling of abandonment when he saw poppy getting adopted, and him thinking she betrayed him. At 2:18 we see the little girl protecting huggy wuggy, and poppy looked really frightened and had a flashback of her protecting her friend (this wasn't in the separated version and even if other people said that poppy was the last experiment they probably scratched of their previous plan and still decided to experiment on the boy, plus he was wearing the same blue pajamas that the boy wore when they first met). In 3:59 we can see the writings "THIS ISN'T MY BODY" written on the walls and that's also probably foreshadowing that the boy was going to get experiment on again and moved to a different one because he wanted to get bigger cuz he thought the girl would like him better. When he saw the girl picking up his previous smaller body he also really looked upset. At 2:48 there was also a drawing on the wall with the poppy doll body and the boy also probably saw that too.

I wanna see an episode of the boy from pt 2 coming to the factory and realizing what actually happened. I want him to have a bigger role, and see the conflict. Then maybe whoever did all that horrible stuff to Poppy and Huggy comes after him next or something like that . . . That could be a potential pt. 3. Then again, we're all waiting for Chapter 2, and there might be more lore.
