Bruh you can't use riptide in the nether, and even if you can use it, since nether had roofs close to each other, you can't pass through it like the overworld.
A powder snow MLG on the nether roof of bedrock will be safe as you won't need to use trident anymore , powder snow works in the nether

The feature is you can go through y -40 just for the void to deal infinite damage or like 340 duodecillion (340,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 for long and that is also the damage of /kill)
It's the same as breaking bedrock to die in the void. Nobody got Riptide 255 normally.

The nerf is great at everything except "elytra now breaks when at 0 durability" It's not that I dislike it it's the fact I now have one more thing to worry about.
It's a known bug and is already fixed. They just need to release the bug fix.

@@valentino9639 the elytra ***breaking*** is a bug. Elytra is not supposed to break. Elytra breaking is not intentional and will be reverted to elytra NOT being able to break.

That’s the first time I hear anybody pronounce “elytra” correctly! 😮 I consume a considerable amount of Minecraft content and I’ve heard people saying /ɛ.ˈlaɪ̯.tɹə/ or /ɛ.ˈli.tɹə/, but never as is pronounced by entomologists - as /ˈɛ.lɪ.tɹə/. Kudos!

the thing that makes this so op is that in bedrock edition riptide tridents dont use their durability unless you hit a mob with the trident so in bedrock, (when this comes out) THIS IS EVEN BETTER
You should test this up to the 2147483647 enchant limit and see if that works (you need to end the number with an l to make sure the game stores the nbt as an int/long/32 bit int (idk there's conflicting information on whats named what) instead of a byte). A few other things i.e. fireworks up to 32767 can also do this, not just enchantments, although some of them seem to delete themself's when you do them on a multiplayer server or save it to your saved toolbars. Others only work when you replace the number in level.dat (delete the variable then create a new one of a diffreent type but same name in nbtedit). What you can replace with what seems to also change around between versions, so make sure not to test just 1.18 (snapshots)
That was "Death.Fell.Accident.Water". That means "you died; from fall damage; it was accidental; it was in water" So you hit the block so fast that you suffered lethal fall damage.

I once heard a theory that when an immovable object meet an unstoppable object, both object just phase through each other. I think this video could be use as one of the example of that. (Although actually this happen because the Minecraft software cannot render the block fast enough and thus makes it looks like the character model phase through the block... But hey, it's just an example)

This is even better for bedrock edition, where using a riptide trident doesn’t actually use up any of its durability (only if you hit and damage an entity) so it’s basically infinite fast travel
