  • 3:00 look how much they enjoyed his impression after he lost, he was all fun for them when he was 2nd fiddle to their favorites, but became a villain as soon as he started defeating their idols. • The reason Djokovic celebrates so much from his victories (probably releases more emotion than Roger and Rafa despite being just as good) comes from his background. He grew up getting bombed in Serbia which has taught him many lessons. It makes him even hungrier to be the greatest to ever play the sport.

    • In 2011 he had already established himself as he was ranked #1, had the 43 match win streak, won his third out of 4 grand slams that year and 5 masters. It was the 2010 semifinal US open against Federer that kick-started his reign. He won Davis cup a couple months later in december, then won everything in 2011. The rest of the points are against other great points playing their absolute best tennis and still losing the point. That also shows the gap between the big 3 and the rest of the tour. @ExpaBrate95@ExpaBrate95 Жыл бұрын
  • It'll be sad day when Novak and Nadal retire. I've been watching tennis for 40 plus years, from aged 15 and have followed closely ALL the greats and every player in between. I have never witnessed such a complete player a Novak, a tennis professional with literally no weakness, whether it be mental, physical, or tactical. Federer and Nadal are geniuses don't get me wrong, but I can easily see their individual weakness, something, until Novak came along, no other player was able to exploit in any meaningful way. Which is why, in my opinion, he brought the Federer/Nadal legacy, crashing to the the ground like a deck of cards, picking up 21 Grand Slam of his own (and while being banned from participating) plus a wealth of other titles. This is, in my opinion, why some tennis enthusiasts find it hard to harbour 'affection' and 'love' for Novak in the same way as Federer and Nadal. Basically, he tarnished a lot of devoted fan's childhood memories, by making their player(s) look ordinary at times. And of course, vise versa. These three guys though, particularly Novak, have elevated tennis to a level no other player(s) have been able to, and still can't match...possibly on the odd occasion. The new...'new' generation are world class but unfortunately, they're simply not in the same stratosphere. In my opinion.
