Unless David Baker is mega rich where he can afford his own camera crew and a private jet to travel in, who is providing these services to him or paying him for his time? • 13:04 - Charles Woodson is TRULY one of the greatest to EVER play. Winning the Heisman Trophy as a defensive player, while also winning the National Championship is something that will never be duplicated. Couple that with his equally legendary NFL career. His longevity as one of the game's best defenders has him is such rare company. It is not a stretch at all to have Charles as Top 10 all-time.

People forget that he had 3 offensive TD's, as well as returned a Punt for a TD. He was a 2 way player at Michigan, who primarily played defense. I'm not sure if he would have won the Heisman, JUST off his defensive stats.

It's almost as if them joining the Hall of Fame is a new career on It's own. Class A job performed by David. Truly, these players are much deserving of this too, having to go through all the physical barriers that come with playing football, dedicating yourself to the game, and doing one hell of a job at it, being known as "one of the best to ever do it." Great job all around.

  • In 1975, a thirteen year old was at Sears in Valley View Mall in North Dallas. At a stand in the store, signing autographs was Drew Pearson. He signed a photo for me and let me talk to him for a couple of minutes. It was close to closing and instead of blowing me off, which he could have easily done, he took the time to listen to a naive kid. 46 years later, I still have that autograph photo. The photo means a lot to me, but more importantly was the time he gave me, and did it with a smile on his face. The free agent out of Tulsa is a hall of famer. Couldn’t happen to a better person in my eyes. I watched your speech and was honored to say that I watched him all those years. Thank you, Drew Pearson!

  • It brings tears to the eyes. These players are players that my generation grew up with. We loved them / hated them. But in the end, they got the call the deserved and it's like closing a chapter in the book of life and moving onto the next.

  • It’s the ultimate recognition of individual achievement in the sport with championships being the pinnacle of team success. It’s very select company, easy to see why these guys get so emotional. Of the thousands of men to have played in the NFL, these guys are part of an elite group with only 300 something in that group.

Well-deserved and it’s funny seeing this coming off of the Volume interview he just did with Richard Sherman because he said his wife said it was someone they knew at the door but when he was looking through the glass he saw a much bigger person standing there and he said he was gonna go get the pistol lmao

  • Imagine being a Super Bowl winning player, having retired years ago, being invited with your family to Canton, Ohio on behalf of the NFL. The home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. You're chilling with your family, just hanging out. When it happens: *KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK *KNOCK* Your family spazzes out, your wife starts bawling her eyes out, your kids are flipping their lids. But you... you put your head into your palms and just WEEP. Because you know what those 4 knocks on your door means... You've been chosen to be immortalized among the Many Legends of the Game. And fate has selected YOU to become one of those Legends David Baker is hands down the Angel of Immortality for the sport of Pro Football.
