I love how in order to help the students, the teacher didn't just show a "Why school is important" video (unlike ours) and actually helped the students by finding the root cause of each of their problems. And no, I'm not asking my school to fight people, I'm asking for them to show a little bit sympathy and understanding to the students.
But hey, who wouldn't like to see a teacher just handing thugs' butts to them?

The most memorable class was music class in HS somewhere around spring 2010. Our teacher prepared everything for that lesson each seat had their own electric piano set up, tuned and around 20 students were about to learn how to play the intro of Liquido - Narcotic. Everyone was ambitious to get it right besides one student who apparently knew more about electric pianos than the teacher and was kinda pissed from science class earlier. He decided to compose his own little instrumental much to the disliking of our teacher because of random rhythmic repetitive beats sounding through his much beloved song. He could not figure out who did it though and everyone would keep quite because it already was hilarious as our teacher slowly became fuming of rage as it would not stop. It started out as a basic snare hip hop like FL studio beat but his great moment was yet still to come. After 20 minutes of raging and even inspecting every single piano for messing with it (he was not able to figure out who kept disturbing the class though) he just pretended it to not be there anymore (🎵🎵🎵 tztt zttz tzt tz tz tzzz at 100 bpm silently coming from somewhere in the class room) it stopped and the teacher turned to the board to write some new notes, suddenly the exorcist theme started blaring with a church organ sound twist as a he managed to retune the piano to sound like an echoing mad psycho church organ , that was when our teacher snapped and ended the class...
A teacher like Henry is exactly what every student needs, the kind who is patient and cares about the student's safety and education.
The fact that its a movie and there are only like 1% of teachers like him is sad.

Great story I commend the teacher for all he did even the apology at the end it showed true courage.
Henry was an exceptionally good teacher..his way of teaching was new and pretty refreshing. In addition i really like that he helped a lot of his students get through with their lifetime problems and focus on what they want to do.. Henry wasn't the perfect man as he was the reason for the guy's broken hand but his present actions and personality were really noble and cool

I have actually seen this movie many times,and yet,every time,I still get emotional because the teacher was willing to help misfits stand out by helping them with their personal life and all that stuff,I highly recommended you watch this movie for yourself, this is a true 11/10 movie that got me tearing up (and this doesn't happen often btw)

I'm actually kind of happy the dude decided to try and re-learn the piano at the end. It's like he forgives Henry and wants to put it all behind him and go back to doing what he loved.
Everybody should have a teacher this good who cares this much. But our teachers are just as human as the rest of us, with everything that entails. Make the best of it.

My mum was a fantastic & brilliant teacher in a school of great teachers. Parents begged & harassed the Principal to put their kids in her class. She even came up with different teaching methods of her own. Kindergarten-Elementary, a financially disadvantaged school, but with extra funding & super teachers, they surpassed expectations & served their students well.

This teacher kinda reminds me of my teacher. He was a great science teacher and told us stories and taught us in ways that other teachers haven’t.
I had a teacher like this such a sweet lady but she got sick from Covid and hasn’t been back

sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh- reminds me of my chemistry teacher who broke glass on the first (or second) day of school on purpose... and did a ton of other interesting things. unless we go to the same school coincidentally. if one of those stories involves a blind person, yah we probably go to the same school. (on an alt tho, so people can't dox me/find out who I am.)
I wish more teachers were like Henry, understanding and sympathetic. Always trying to understand why they behave the way they do because a good home won't make bad behaviors.

Wow great recap. I really love this story. My mom was an elementary school teacher and she would 100% agree that when there was a "trouble" kid at school who always acted up, it's always due to problems they were having at home. I wish more teachers could be understanding and try to find the root of the problem rather than just punishing them. One technique my mom used was giving the problem kid a responsibility such as being "line leader" and it was very successful.

When you hear about teachers and schools just letting their students run around making animal noises, you start to realise just how much of a mess the education system really is in at the moment. I feel sorry for todays (and tomorrows) generation of children, they aren't being taught anything of any real substance anymore.

In my opinion, the teacher has the most important job in all society. Their qualifications needs to be increased and their income needs to be tripled. We need to value our teachers MORE than we do our doctors and politicians. No, I'm not a teacher but as a former student alike many of you, I am sure you all know they could have done better, you could have done better and we all want our own children to do better. To be a teacher should be seen as a difficult, well paid and very respected feat more so than many other professions.

I've just watched this movie, and it's absolutely amazing. I almost cried at certain points of the movie and Henry Chan showed me a new perspective of reality. The way he helped all of the students with their problems in Class 6B, utterly shocked me. This movie is definitely a 10/10 for me! I'm sure that loads of people will love this movie when they watch it.

If only life fell together like this. If we look back, though, we can recognize teachers of our past that were actually trying, and my own actions that caused me to miss opportunities.

It is pure MMA. Before wing Chung, he was and still is a practioner and fond of MMA. Go watch Flashpoint and you'll see how much he improve since then. Even Kung Fu Jungle he showed just how MMA can be utilize in real fights.
