    • @@citizenjournalist2533 actually says that she makes her own hamburgers on this show, She also says her mother left her with different people bc she was to prideful to take food stamps, Well when she was 5 years old in 1957 there were NO food stamps programs, All the things she states she went through as a child she still finds it in her to say, she is happy to not have to have dealt with racism. That blew my mind that she said it was a great thing she was only molested and cruelty treated by her own people. Which cause cancer- which sends us constantly to the doctors- doctors prescribes medication- we go to pharmacy to get medications that Dr. prescribed. Government- food industry-healthcare industry-pharmaceutical industry- viscous cycle- everyone making money off of the people for the lack of knowledge- we have a sick care model in the U. S.- this is why they are opposed universal healthcare- because the above industries will not make the money. I healthcare should be focused on healthcare prevention.

His comments talking about the role was they had so much money to promote it, because it was such a huge seller (Australia). This is where the problem lies, healthy people don't make anyone money. Illness is profitable.

  • My husband & I have transitioned to a whole food plant based low salt/sugar/oil way of eating. At 71 so many of our friends are suffering from the results of a lifetime of our country's Standard American Diet. We are healthy, active and without any chronic illnesses. We met friends at Chef Babette's restaurant "Stuff I Eat" in Inglewood just the other day. As we were trying to explain to our friends how we are getting enough protein, Chef Babette came to our table and sat down for a visit. When you look at her and she tells you she takes no prescription medications....well, nothing we could say was going to be more convincing about eating a healthy vegan diet. Chef Babette is a walking billboard for healthy eating and regular exercise. We all loved her food and loved her visiting with us at her restaurant.❤

  • Blessings to you my sister. I can and have identified with all that you’ve shared. I’m 65 and lost 37 years of life. I wish I could just hug you for your strength, positive energy and determination. I too have learned to take responsibility, forgive myself as well as others. After being blessed to change my direction, being a singer most of my life at 63, I became a songwriter and was given 3 singles thus far. I’ve gained the strength to remove myself from all the negative energy in my life. I’m a work in progress, trusting and believing, it does get better. Please continue the journey while sharing what clearly you have been chosen to do (unafraid and strong). I too have been given a journey with sharing all my positive energies and love that I continuously possess without my permission while learning to love myself even more. Thank you so much for your impact.

  • Absolutely beautiful. Five years ago I couldn’t get out of my house plans have changed my life and saved it. Your story is amazing. I live in the chemical waste land. I have a 12 acre organic farm that is surrounded by chemical farming. I watch the cattle trucks every day go down the highway a mile from my farm. Toxic corn, wheat feedlots dairies all surrounding me. Being a farm kid, it was quite a transition as 3 countries told me the same thing. All my neighbors were poisoning me and the world. Every year I plant seeds and do my best to help them grow. And every year it’s a gamble if it will be drifted with toxic chemicals and I have to destroy it all. This is the reality of organic farming. We are running out of water, but China and Canada are building a 2 mile long feedlot. China already owns a co-op that the corn will come from to feed the cattle. So your tax money that pays the farmers to grow the GMO corn is going to China owned companies in the US. Since I speak organic farming on my channel I get chemical and GMO seed commercials While I’m watching this video. We must continue to share the truth about quality food. I do not have a fancy KZhead channel just the truth about food and what you’re bringing home to your children. now KZhead put ads on my videos, even though I do not want them. The truth about food should be free not sold. Go grow something worth eating because you’re worth it :-)

  • What an inspiration! Such a a lot of trauma in Babette’s early life. It’s wonderful to see her looking so happy and healthy and facing life head on with love and positive actions. Since I’ve been vegan I’ve been really disappointed in being charged extra for plant milk. I live in Sydney but I heard there’s a cafe in Melbourne that charges a “cruelty tax” for any orders requesting cow’s milk! Turning the tables. There should be more like that. Nanette, if you read this, you look fantastic! Thanks for the great video/podcast.

  • I have been in a funk for a while, feeling sorry for myself, complaining about this and that and I'm not usually like this. I have been the one that people come to for uplifting, positive words etc. I literally had tears listening to the beginning of Chef Babette experiences. This video made realize that I have no reason to feel sorry for myself and to be honest, this is a journey that we have ups and downs but we have the power to decide what will accept, achieve, do good, move foward and not stay in the past and most importantly " stay present" and be love. Thank you for this video. Peace and love to all.
