On May 8, 2024, former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter spoke with Dimitri Lascaris about Israel's looming military defeat. According to Ritter, the genocidal war that Israel launched in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks have exposed a range of Israeli vulnerabilities and the limits of Israel's brutal military power. Israel, he believes, may be forced to seek a face-saving exit from the horrors it has perpetrated.

Today they both spoke about Hamas in a way I had not heard before. Scott and others have gone threw a great deal of growth since the 7th of October when Palestine was not even on the list of subjects the alternative media dissuaded. Hamas really did put Palestine and Palestinians on the front burner.

I heard Dimitri interviewed by Lee Camp and he talked about how he (Dimitri) tried to become leader of the Green Party of Canada but found that, at least federal Canadian politics, is a cesspool. Really no strong, moral leaders to speak of. That is sad. Seems that nobody with real understanding of human rights and the truth is able to get into political leadership in Canada. We have a lot of work to do! I'm going to say we gotta start at home, in our own communities. Using some community building strategies and tools to also raise political awareness as well as mutual aid that helps everybody meet their needs. If we help each other meet our needs more freely and abundantly, people will listen. I suggest something like One Small Town Contributionism or what comes after Zeitgeist: Requiem by Peter Joseph, a parallel system to create "A Viable Society", something called "Integral."

I'm dumbfounded by Ritter's intelligent, honest assessment of Iran's "desire" to have nuclear weapons. He is impressively well versed in things beyond mere military expertise. I have not heard or read a single Western expert that comes close to Ritter's understanding of such fine details.

Mr. Dimitri Lascaris, I don't know what your job is but you sir are one of the best interviewers that i have ever seen. you KNOW what you are talking about and what you are asking about, often times interviewers ask questions that they already know the answer to, or they put the answer deliberately in the question that they ask or they simply are not involved the question, but the way you ask your questions is far better because you also provide information in your questions that others don't know about and in this interview Scott Ritter didn't know the specifics on some things but you did and that is honestly amazing. i hope that i continue to see more of you
