The Israeli settlers are waging a daily war on the Palestinians who remain; they harass their neighbours, attack their houses, move their livestock and generally make life unbearable for them. After years of violent resistance, a new generation of Palestinians have undertaken a new strategy and are fighting back with video cameras rather than guns. They post their videos online to show the world what is happening but what does all this mean for the possibility of peace? An in-depth and eye-opening investigation into life in the West Bank.

@@user-in5sh5fg3s From 1948 Israel was a sovereign state so any land in Israel already belongs to Israel. From 1948 to 1969 West Bank was Jordan. Palestinians made no claim to this land. Several times Israel tried to give West Bank to the Palestinians in exchange for permanent peace, but the Palestinians didn't want it. In 2005 the Oslo Accords gave Area C to Israel. Yasser Arafat and his Palestinians signed this agreement. It wasn't a land grab. Israel annexed East Jerusalem. Maybe that is what you are concerned about? The USA recognizes Israel's claim to East Jerusalem. The Palestinians can't provide civil services there anyway.
Europeans did it all over the Americas for the last 500+ years. Now, Europeans have been doing it in Palestine since the late nineteenth century.

There was NEVER a Sovereign Palestine in all of history. The land belongs to Israel under 3 separate International Laws. And Hebron was A Jewish city before the Arabs massacred the Jews in 1929, then the Jordanians illegally annexed Hebron in the 1948 war. They ethnically cleansed Every Jew from the illegally annexed Jordanian land. The Jordanians destroyed over 35 ancient Jewish holy places and destroyed Temple Mount archeology.

It's got less to do with faith than power; here's why: for more than a thousand year, NATIVE Jews, Christians and Muslims happily coexisted in Palestine, emphasis on native, local people, because the settlers by definition, are not native, it's not because they're Jews that they have claim to the land, if the west didn't back and arm Israel, there would be no settlers or religious conflict to begin with. Israel can only exist as a propped up ethnostate while draining resources, tax payers money and tarnishing the image of the so called democratic and secular west.

I think it's mostly the ones from the new outposts that do all this violence. It's like they are wannabe settlers but so far they've been allowed to park a caravan or build a shack on a particular bit of land by the govt and now they are trying to earn their brownie points by conducting as many attacks as they can on Palestinians to drive them out. It probably is a way for them to be somebody as they get respect from their communities. It's like a big gang that has military back up!
As an Israeli supporter during the war, Israel should end this issue by giving Arabs the same rights as to Israelis, not allowing settlers, etc. I can understand the Arabs are infuriated, who wouldn’t? I hope this ends for both sides soon and that there is real peace in Israel including all Arab territories.

What makes you think that the USA is building homes? My understanding is that any Jew can have dual citizenship with Israel and their home country. So yes, there are US citizens living in Israel (and citizens of many other countries) but that doesn't mean that the US itself is building settlements.

There is Absolutely nothing Illegal in Jews living in Judea and Samaria. The land belongs to Israel under 3 International Laws. Uti Possidetis Juris, the Peace Treaty with Jordan, and the Oslo Accords where Area C is fully under Israeli government and security. All Communities are in Area C.
