  • My friend, the video is really very informative and helpful! I think people will definitely find a suitable mouse for themselves. The way you presented the information in a structured way is beyond praise, really everything is super. From myself, I can recommend the following things: 1) The text that you are reading can be placed under the camera to create the illusion that you are looking almost at us, and not at the text, I think it will look better; 2) Fragments with apex gameplay can be left without a camera so that there is no such strong cropping on the sides, or black stripes can be added at the top and bottom, but this way the models will look small and, for example, it will not be very convenient to look at the gameplay from a smartphone, therefore, in my opinion, gameplay fragments can be inserted without a camera. Also perhaps I would have made the background music just a little bit louder, but this is quite a matter of taste. I hope the comment was useful, good luck to you, see you in the comments for the next video 🤟😉

    • Hey Electr0! Thanks for the sub man, I appreciate it :) I still use my HSK Pro when I want a challenge, fair play to you for maining it! You might want to consider looking into the struth gaming claw mate mod, its literally a silicon triangle you stick on your mice for better grip options, check this tweet twitter.com/LOG_PILE_/status/1716901382727553513?t=lMH1UxqJaFqnC5joKJ5epQ&s=19 I'm no longer a fingertip gripper as the zowie EC1-CW was so comfy in claw/palm I made the switch, if i was a big fingertipper still, I'd definitely have gotten a ULX, as it stands though im not really interested, the QC appears to be an issue with the first batch too so id definitely wait for the next round to release before buying if i was you! The MZ1 is so good man, its just a bit heavy, and weight balancing feels wonky. You could probably pick up an MZ1 2nd hand very cheap these days, may be worth a try 🤔 Also, if you have wide hands, the HTX may be pretty good for you too.

But for me its really nice because I can have my fingers at the very tips of m1 & m2 with overhang, without it becoming a claw grip. • What an amazing roundup of fingertip mice, I don't even want to imagine how much effort you put into this! Regarding your community post with constructive criticism, most of mine is just really nitpicky. With editing, I think the music could've been just a little louder, but especially the 2nd song I barely noticed because of the soft guitar. The "bell-type" instrument in the 1st song and the piano in the 3rd just came through a lot clearer than the guitar imo, however I'm not a sound engineer so take that with a grain of salt :) I also think a fixed ratio between the footage of you talking to the left and the footage of gameplay / mice to the right would make the video feel a lot more fluid, maybe like a 30/70 split like you had throughout most of the GPX section. And in case you'd have to cut the footage too much horizontally like perhaps at 4:17, maybe just transitioning to it taking up all the screen space would be better. Regarding the content itself, I really liked the way you structured the information, going from mouse to mouse and having a final recommendation section at the end. No complaints there! • Oldschool Quaker here! I really like the fact that you correctly use the term "fingertip-grip", instead of mixing it up with the popular fingertip-palm-hybrids, since this distinction is important to make, no matter what grip you use. It makes no sense to go for one mouse or the other, when you do not reflect what parts of the hand you actually use or you touch your mouse with. In addition some people don't even realize how good a true fingertip-grip is, as you have much more room for fast and precise movements with solely your fingers, similar to using a pencil. I feel like a lot of people would swap to a pure fingertip-grip, if they just tried it seriously for some time, realizing all the benefits and how natural it feels. They just don't understand, yet - was the same with weight, shape and size - It took the industry almost 20 years to realize this, since their costumers did not care for so long.

    @yosoy1loco@yosoy1loco6 ай бұрын

      @LogPileGaming@LogPileGaming6 ай бұрын
    • @@LogPileGaming I tried a lot of mice over the past 20 years, probably more than hundred. Starting with a Lachesis, but then stayed with and bought therefore multiple Abyssus (the old school shape from 2008, not the 2014 revamped) and used it until a few years ago. Then I made some experiments, as weightreduction, sidebuttons and a better sensor were a thing to compensate for me growing older. At some point I even used the R.A.T 1 mad catz without the additional frame, which is kinda insane and you should try it just for the luls if you can get one. It has an absolute shit cheap sensor, cable, switches - yet the shape is kind of bonkers in a good sense. Then I mainly used MM710, despite having more expensive mice sit on my shelves. After all these Years I only have 4 further mice on the list and I'm sure that the next lifetimekeeper will be under it: G-wolves HSK, Zaunkonig MK3-4, Finalmouse Ultralight X and OptimumTechs selfprinted mouse, has not a name yet, but his prototype is V34. edit. Check out the RAT1 without frame, just for the luls. It is essential just two buttons, but it works and I quess at some point also the user and industry will realize the potential, usually 10-15 years too late.

  • You really went deep in the shape discussion and I loved it. I have the MZ1 wired as the replacement for model O- and the cable is getting on my nerves for gaming. The weight is also 15g above what I want for ultimate reaction/immersion/speed and unfortunately the brand has no news regarding an upgrade (maybe the sales are not that good). MZ1 shape is still my dream one however, doing claw and fingertip depending on the intensity of the aim and If I need extra stability. The HSK Pro or the HTX might be upgrades for me, sadly the pricetag is a cold shower on them.

Its too big for my hands which are on the smaller side with 17*9cm as i cant even reach the gimmick thrid sidebutton in my usual hand position. I currently play on an x2 mini which is 1k polling rate and I dont really feel any issues. Any noticeable advantages for 4k? I dont play FPS shooters like Valorant so I dont track a lot. I have heard that 4k is beneficial in tracking FPS games.

Personally, with hkw poorly my favourite games are for 4k, I've never used it. So we find ourselves in the same camp. Other people i know and trust sing 4k's praises, but they have a much better understanding than me of how to optimise it and typically.tun higher refresh rates from what I've seen. The higher your screen refreshes (200+) the more noticeable 4k polling rate is. Hope that helps

    • @@LogPileGaming Thank your for your in depth reply! I play high refresh rates (above 240hz and high fps) so I might consider 4k. I have been around since you only had like 100 subscribers and I find your content really helpful! Although the very light gaming mouse and the glass mousepad scene is still a niche product, I was surprised not to see any proper reviewers. Many channels have made videos about the products you review, but I always felt like they were useless and the reviews felt forced. When you speak about the products, I can see that you are enthusiastic about it and you really have solid personal experience with them. You really strive to find what feels best for you and its not just a product that has been sent to you for review and content creation. Your content is truly informative and I always feel like helping others is your primary focus and content creation is only secondary. Outstanding content keep it up!

  • Good video, but my I'm still full of doubts in my hand xD My nº1 mouse (in terms of shape) would 100% be the x2 mini, but unfortunately I can't trust pulsar due to the qc issues complaints in every single website I visit :( The other options are g-wolves hsk/htx (kinda uncertain if can trust this company too..), the lamzu mini (better for claw than fingertip but yeah) and the mz1 (kinda afraid of the shape 'cause I use a 1-1-3 fingertip grip). I have a medium hand (18x10), use 1-1-3 fingertip grip, and prefer more flat sides mice. Do you have any advice you could give me?? :/

  • i seem to perform best with a rear fingertip grip similar to what you are using at times in the vid, also a streamer called Lyr1c on apex uses a similar grip, the only downside is i like my mouse side buttons so quite often the front side button isnt easily accessible which is a shame, i tested the gpx super light, g703, viper v2 pro, pulsar xlite v2, g303, kone air and i currently use a g502/g502x wired, i like the 502 for single player stuff and when i transistioned from console to pc the extra buttons were helpful. I found my aim was most consistent with the viper v2 pro and the g303, the g303 i have never aimed so well but i couldnt access the front side button and i found it uncomfortable for long periods, the viper v2 i aimed really well with and i could just about access the front side button and i found it more comfortable. I used the amazon return policy but i am debating buying some mice on ebay for cheaper, was thinking of trying a mz1 wireless, x2 mini or lamzu atlantis mini, thoughts? also great vid

    • Hey Mayhem, it sounds like you've been on a similar endgame journey to me!! Of the 2 mice I've tried on your list, if you move your grip a touch further forward on both the MZ1 or the X2 mini (possible with good grip tape), you can still get good range of motion and basically rest your thumb on the front and back mouse buttons. I guess the decision is yours between the 2, I personally would try to find a second hand MZ1 wireless - but depending on your preferences, an X2 mini is a really solid option too.

    • Hey Jonah, great choice! I have the tiger ice skates for the viper mini installed currently. They fit quite well. Before that i threw on some tiger ice dots and they were fine too. I prefer the viper mini skates in case you were wondering - it helps balance out the light weight of the mouse by giving more feedback from the pad. Whereas the dots provide no feedback and super fast glide. all preference at the end of the day 🫡

I think that someone should make it cheaper, because rn it's probably out of reach for a lot of people. would be especially good if they made it bluetooth, so you could take it with you and use it with a nom-gaming laptop and then bring it home and game with it.

I mention it as the Zaopin z1 pro is about 45£ and it's quite a good upgrade over the orochi. Weighs like 49grams. If you're on a budget I'd recommend giving it a try. • I'll be honest with you, I don't really check what's "normal" for grip styles, I just do what feels best for me Gripping from the back is what feels best for me 🫡 I think the new Pulsar Grip tape could make other positions more comfortable for me though, so watch this space

      @LogPileGaming@LogPileGaming Жыл бұрын
  • It's a shame that the Atlantis Mini isn't in here. Idk why everyone slams on it acting like the X2 is so much better for fingertip. I can't stand the flat sides of my GPX so I went straight for that Atlantis Mini for a bit of curve to allow for a better locked-in feeling, and adding the grips made it feel exactly what I was looking for. I'm at this point where I genuinely can't imagine wanting another mouse unless somehow FinalMouse finds a way to ensure top-level QC on these new under-30-gram mice. If that is the case I might consider the small-sized one.

    • @@LogPileGaming for me the grip rose really made it ideal. I’d love to try the MZ1 but supposedly XTRFY is possibly doing a refresh? If there’s a chance at a sub 55gram MZ1 I’d hop straight onto that for a while just to give it a chance. I’ve actually had the opposite experience to you in hearing almost anyone mentioning it claiming it’s the best. As a fingertip player with bigger hands it sounds like it’d contend with the Atlantis mini shape.
