ENDURANCE: The Documentary about Porsche at the Two Toughest GT Races in the World.
In 2019, the world of motorsports saw something it had rarely seen before; the two toughest endurance events in motor racing took place back-to-back: the 24h of Le Mans and the 24h of the Nürburgring. ENDURANCE is the story of the Porsche GT Team that took on this double challenge.

I really hope Porsche will make something again like this, this is truly a masterpiece
De Fassbender series is similar
In F1 soon :)
I mean th 963 is coming so...
A bit boring, perhaps
@@ukyo6195 You just don’t know anything about motorsport if you think this is boring.
"it was my fault, i lost the race." it takes a big man to say that.

It's just a race... it doesn't really take a big man

You know you can even feel your eyes stinging sometimes from the smokes from the fires." 1:15:17 - that line alone is worth watching this vid. - Thanks Porsche.
I did this race (24hr ‘Ring) in 2000 and 2001, driving a Caterham 7. The first year we only just made the cut, starting 207 out of 210! The night stint is exactly as he describes! My first night practice, I slowed at the top of Kallenhard because I saw a red flashing light ahead... it was a disco in the forest, also driving through those bbq smoke, smelling the food made my realise we hadn’t eaten all day, working on the car. We weren’t a big team and the drivers had to prep the car. It was a long hard struggle to get to the starting line... then you have to race for 24 hours. We finished both races, finishing 3rd in class - after being put into a faster class both times.
@@snifflytooth this is what A) Nürburgring B) Endurance racing is all about. Love it, this is where stories are written.
I think Kevin Estre just gained many new fans! Crazy Guy! Racer through and through
Google Kevin Estre Nurburgring..you see onboard drive..with a Porsche GT3 RS .. :) INSANE... :)
Kevin is my role model and my dad sort of knows him
oh yes he did... I watch him since 24h Nordschleife 2018 now. This guy got balls of steel
Here after his 2021 24h of Nurburgring win , this man is a beast on track
I think too, some couple years ago, Kevin Estre is the best and fastest 911´s GT3 and RSR´s driver in the GT´s and in the Endurance (WEC) Championships in the Works Porsche Team.
The most epic documentary I’ve ever seen, we can feel the pressure and how hard the race is.
simonisable yep motor racing but this documentary is also well done you gotta admit it.
I recommend you Audi truth in 24h 1 and 2 they are pretty similar and very Good too.
This film give me goosebumps, almost in every single scene

I never get sick of the sound of a RSR!!!!!!
Agreed! Love the new rsr's but the sound of the old screaming one's will definitely be missed!
2 yrs ago I had to leave the enclosed Grandstands down to Eau Rouge at Spa because of the older RSR's in the WEC .. My Ears couldn't cope ...
Same that sound is amazing

Anand Dullabh you know that the car at the NBR 24h is a 911 GT3R not a RSR ? i don‘t understand your comment as there is no „new“ RSR as far as i know

As a former Porsche race driver, back in the dark ages, I really enjoyed this video. It captured the true feelings of up and down, during the competition. The team worked like a well designed dynamo. Thanks for posting this. Go Porsche!

And now.. they're Porsche Lmdh Driver😍😍😍
Make a series and put it on Netflix please
I dontk know how they would make it a series. They packed everything into this 1.5 hour pretty nicely. Unless you want two races from the perspective of all the teams. Or maybe you mean a series covering a whole race season or something.

Thank you, Porsche for paying to film this and for sharing it with the world. Money well spent!
Klaus Abbelen is such an iconic, gentle, positive and amicable guy . That is innovating and an example of an honorable person!!
Unfortunately he lost his wife Sabine a few weeks ago, she was also one of the most iconic if not the most iconic person from the nordschleife. May she Rest In Peace and may Klaus get through this hard time
So true. I admired how he touched Matt's cheek and gave the guy a comforting hug. WOW
Please Porsche we need the Spa 24h videooo lets gooo!!! :) This was amazing
I'm surprised they did not even mention that same guys (Estre, Lietz and Christensen) later won 24 hours of SPA - also in a Porsche 911 GT3 R

I cannot stop to keep coming back to this documentary since it was released. It literally fuels my strength to keep going in difficult moments.
I loved the part where the mechanic was talking about how hot the car is when it comes in for repairs. It's really interesting to hear from a mechanic's pov. A good insight into what they have to deal with. The pressure, the heat, while trying to get the job done. I've always wanted to hear more from that side of racing.
Indeed
Kevin Estre the crazy guy 👍😂. The best was the commentary after his overtake at the gras 😂😂. His Wife why you do this ? Kevin i don't i need to 😂 Kevin is Kevin he only has one Mode On or Off 😂
Love it! 😂 As Walter Röhrl once said if you are not scared then you aren't driving fast enough!
Oh yes, Mrs Estre probably died during the scene. And now? Now there's a new generation in the Estre house! Congratulations to the soon to be happy parents
Estre is one of the most fearless mofos a team could ever have in a racecar. As Takuma Sato says...... *_NO ATTACK NO CHANCE!_*

what i really love about this documentary is, unlike what you might assumed for a sports car company's promo flick, this movie is not about showing off how they can win, but about how they endured.

Porsche makes better series and documentaries than Netflix, don't even question that
This film transport the spirit of endurance races. I was there at 24h NBG, working at this race for Sorg Rennsport, we had one box and a half box because we run with 9cars; the other half of the box was owned by Manthey. It's always a pleasure to see how the Mantheycrew work. It's like a mechanical movement in a wristwatch. Impressive.

What a masterpiece, the two best races in the world, and by the hand of Porsche. I love the fact that they made this even they didn't win, so inspiring to see all the hard work, the feelings, the tension...
Absolut fantastisch!

Create a document about victory is one thing. But create such an epic document about races where was not everything going well is the other. It deserves a big respect in my opinion. I love you Porsche.
Amazing job showing some of the real stars behind the scenes. A good driver is surely important, but what could Kevin do with an engineering team that doesn’t listen or understands what to adjust. Big respect to those ladies and gents!

Just found this after watching the Michael F - Road to Le Mans series. The access, production, stories and scale of this undertaking is wonderful. Well done to everyone behind and in front of the cameras - but seriously well-done to the suits at Porsche who gave this the green light. Nothing short of epic.

1:12:20 I was there, on the inside of the corner. I remember thinking it was a bit of a risk to make the pass, and that's when the impact happened. Weird but watching the onboard it doesn't look like such a risky move. Was terrifying watching as people kept arriving to the corner at speed
My goodness, 3 minutes into the video and I am at the edge of my seat. Beautifully done as always Porsche.
