In 2019, the world of motorsports saw something it had rarely seen before; the two toughest endurance events in motor racing took place back-to-back: the 24h of Le Mans and the 24h of the Nürburgring. ENDURANCE is the story of the Porsche GT Team that took on this double challenge.

You know you can even feel your eyes stinging sometimes from the smokes from the fires." 1:15:17 - that line alone is worth watching this vid. - Thanks Porsche.

    • I did this race (24hr ‘Ring) in 2000 and 2001, driving a Caterham 7. The first year we only just made the cut, starting 207 out of 210! The night stint is exactly as he describes! My first night practice, I slowed at the top of Kallenhard because I saw a red flashing light ahead... it was a disco in the forest, also driving through those bbq smoke, smelling the food made my realise we hadn’t eaten all day, working on the car. We weren’t a big team and the drivers had to prep the car. It was a long hard struggle to get to the starting line... then you have to race for 24 hours. We finished both races, finishing 3rd in class - after being put into a faster class both times.

  • Just found this after watching the Michael F - Road to Le Mans series. The access, production, stories and scale of this undertaking is wonderful. Well done to everyone behind and in front of the cameras - but seriously well-done to the suits at Porsche who gave this the green light. Nothing short of epic.

  • 1:12:20 I was there, on the inside of the corner. I remember thinking it was a bit of a risk to make the pass, and that's when the impact happened. Weird but watching the onboard it doesn't look like such a risky move. Was terrifying watching as people kept arriving to the corner at speed

  • The Le Mans Part was very good.... And then came the second half... Nürburgring. Just wow. Insane. That Race is soooo bonkers! The Races of the last 15 Years of the N24 are the absolute Peak of GT and Touring Car Racing. Thank you very much for all the insights. You didn't leave out the cruel, sad and angry bits, those two Races are a rough ride. Man, Frikadelli is always so close. Klaus is such a Dude!

  • Absolutely stunning. The Kings of endurance show how hard it is to win. Very insightful and honest fly on the wall documentary. Well done Porsche. Kevin Estre you are crazy but that overtake was breathtaking, I remember watching that live and seeing it replayed - goosebumps. Real and honest racing.

  • This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. I do 14 hrs, 24 Hr enurance races on an amateur level, and I could totally relate to what the drivers go through in such a race, just with 10x more pressure / expectations. Thanks Porsche, this truly was a wonderful piece of work. Big respect !!!
