So beautiful Infiniti Qx80, is one of my favorite cars. Good and reliable engine, good and strong transmission, nice design, a strong and durable car as the well known Nissan Patrol. Excellent car and excellent review.
About time they updated the technology....love this truck although i wish it had a bigger sunroof with panoramic view
Out here in Texas you feel safe in them, when the weather gets bad I feel content in heavy rainfall/windy conditions. Handles pretty good to be such a calm suspension. Don’t buy one if your gonna complain about the gas, have an extra car on the side!!
In texas here and i went to get one but the prices skyrocketed so ill wait maybe next year or 2023 hope they don’t discontinue it or the Nissan Armada
Lmao I always hated when people brought up gas mileage. I'm like dude they're all in the same ball park. Navi got better gas mileage, I'm like by 1 or 2 lol.
There is no such thing as a 6,000lb. "economy car".

Everyone always talk about how unreliable Nissan transmissions are. But I do not really heard about their engines. I find Nissan honestly makes very reliable engines, and their V6s and V8s are honestly so underrated and awesome.
Bought a 2020 QX in 2023…..very happy with it…it’s a very exotic car in small town Midwest where most SUVs are the domestic big 3

I absolutely LOVE my QX80! It's reliable and comfy! I even bought mine at Infiniti of Lexington! That dealership is my FAVORITE out of all the Infiniti dealerships around us. I'll even take ours back to Lexington for service if I know I'll be going to Lexington to visit! Superior vehicle, superior dealership, and a superior service department makes for a WINNING all around experience! Oh and it's also pretty darn quick to be so big! I may have had a little fun with some folks at a red light or two who thought it'd be slow! ;)

I’ve been looking at this car for a while. Ive rented armadas over the years and am so glad it time for a change. I had the marathon sports mom true SUV. Now this will fit my growing teens and still be nice for me. THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ON IT! and, I think you are excellent in covering everything. Truly. You should know that how you are designing the pace and content of your videos… is excellent. I hear that there’s a 2023 should I wait? I plan to have it 10 years.

Fuel economy is fine on 2022 qx80 been great since 2011 qx56. I'm a V8 lover. Keep gas prices low for life since covid 19. Keep all gas guzzlers running all winter season for northern state all 4wd. Great to have a tow package on any suv.

If you can get one for a discount sure, but otherwise there are too many newer, better choices out there now. This thing is well past it's expiry date, but I will say it does look good inside and out if extremely dated.
I'm a little old and outdated myself but I still look damn good. I'm kind of like the QX80......lol.
2024 is when ?
Those rear turn signals being a small incandescent bulb and so low down on the car seems like a safety hazard and them cheaping out on something important. That would be a deal breaker for me
that's why I still own qx80 2016 model, I don't know how they get approved for such a crappy and horrible rear signal design
I want one in this color. The only thing I don’t like is the screen up high, it need to be lower for me.

These are pretty reliable and still drive well, despite their size. Unfortunately, it is hard to justify the Infiniti since the Nissan Armada received its update and better looks. Against the luxury class, it is seriously outclassed.
Say's the guy in an 80k dodge. This vehicle is fine.
Where is the limited with 428hp?????
88k is a steal at this point with all its competitors going for over 100k, but Infiniti should become a full electric luxury brand at this point. It’ll probably elevate the brand!

I really enjoy this vehicle but it's just not fit for a young family. I got 3 car seat and the fact the 2nd row chairs fold like that isn't ideal. It's bothersome bc this is the Big Brother of Nissan and even in the Pathfinder they did right with the 1 button lift and tilt 2nd row which allows a car seat to still be installed and get Into the 3rd row. Also such a big beautiful car and they do no justice with that small sunroof. I'd love to see a Huge Panaromic roof like they do w the Navi, Escalade, Wagoneer, etc. All in all great SUV, just not practical for me and my young family. Went with the Grand Wagoneer which to me nailed the Interior out of every Competitor!
I guess dinosaurs still do roam the earth...
The biggest downfall is that it has no panoramic roof.

It does great in the snow. We tested it out last year in some harsh conditions

Great review, but man it's doesn't appeal to me at alI. I mean , even the navigation still looks the same as my 08 infiniti m 35x, which I love. I want a suv, but most likely leaving Infiniti, and getting an Audi . Look forward to your next review.

The second seats are fixed. Cannot be adjusted. That’s not a definition of luxury. That’s the reason for me not to consider Nissan Armada and this one.
So nothing has really changed since 2021

It’s almost 2022 and Infiniti still haven’t figure out how to add a centre headrest to QX80’s third row.
No rear seat cooling, no foot activated tailgate and no panoramic sunroof.
Hear the crickets? Yeah all they did is put an aftermarket touchscreen radio. Nothing impressive time to step up your game Infiniti.
Getting better, but the dashboard still looks cheap. Compare it to Cadillac Escalade or the Lincoln Navigator which have a nicer interior. Also, the car needs to be more fuel efficient given the high gas prices.

Infiniti's are weird vehicles to me. With Toyota and Honda, Lexus and Acura are a pretty good step up in terms of luxury and refinement. Infiniti's aren't that much better than regular old Nissans. They did well with the new QX60 but again, the new Pathfinder is almost right there with it. Nice vehicles but the incentive to buy one over a Nissan just isn't there for me.
I wouldn't consider this a luxury SUV.... I would compare this to the Chevy Tahoe/Suburban High Country.. The GMC Yukon Denali, and maybe the base trim of the Cadillac Escalade... like the base trims of the real luxury SUV's and crossovers and the high end, top trims of mainstream vehicles.... and I would get the top trim of the Nissan Armada...And the 12.3 inch screen was inevitable and expected... its much more sleek than the 2-screen layout... with the 8-inch and 7-ich screen... this larger one has the same concept though... like the Apple Carplay/Android Auto will only take 8-inches and the rest is for other functions... I don't why... I like big screens, but i like it when the screen is fully filled out... like in the pre-refreshed 2021 QX80 and Armada/Patrol...
This is in desperate need of a redesign...relatively unchanged since 2011.
2022 EXTERIOR SUCKS THE 2018 LOOKS MORE MUSCLE ...
Look the reliability of this model as they are milking the design as they added the Nissan Armada to this platform. Nissan/infiniti needs to make this one stand out a bit more now by designing a better performance engine with a ten speed auto, add a heads up display, digital dash and higher end radio(not BOSE), massaging seats, panoramic roof, better rear entertainment. They are should stretch this body by 6 inches for more room in the third row. With this, it would be a hit for sure. Waiting for the 2024 which will come out in late 2023 and may be electric or mild hybrid.
