Rhinos have poor eyesight, so objects moving near their face or head can easily scare them. You'd be suprised how much they flee a fight they could easily or have a favorable match up in.

One took off, the other two stayed around and then the video cuts off after that. Same with the warthog mother that “bravely” fought the leopard that had its baby. Yes, the mother may have flipped him but It looks like it still got the baby regardless.
That mountain lion riding the Alpaca was amazing. Every time it got thrown off it absorbed the fall and immediately sprung back within a second. Absolute ninja skills.
I think it would've gotten rid of the cat sooner if it had jumped squarely on it with its two front feet when the cat was down but hindsight is 20/20.

The alpaca was quite defenseless against the claws and teeth of the lion, a fall from that height doesn't do much to a cat. The video was cut short, probably because the alpaca died a terrible slow death from repeated attacks.

Pretty sure the hippo was going to kill the impala when he noticed the larger threat and went for it first. Hippos are very territorial, I've seen a similar video where one helped an animal only to turn around and kill the animal it "helped" because it was still in the territory.

The elephant didn't see them because of the cliff. He walked up and got startled. Which in turn scared the lions off but definitely wasn't trying to save the other animal lol. Hippo wasn't either.
They're actually not helping, though we, as humans, like to think they are 🙂 They are simply reacting to a common enemy. Both adult elephants and adult hippo will automatically charge a lion because of the threat it poses to their calves
Sometimes the compassion can be real if the individuals were uncommon friends, which does happen in nature, but in addition to the "sharing a threat in common" reason, another reason may be preferring a calm environment and interrupting commotion. Seems hippos at least seem to behave by intervening just to quiet things down.

Actually it doesn't matter. The crab's claws are waaay stronger than the scorpion's. And the stinger is useless against crab armor. Even on land crab wins 100% of the time. Scorpion isn't strong enough to crack any vital part of the crab, their claws are mostly used to grab insects. Probably would have a hard time even cracking a leg on the crab (which would do nothing to stop it) . While the crab is used to cracking hard shells for food. There is no contest here.
