@@Quillan164 so 80s/90s racer sad question of the day: tracks today. Big start hills, tarmac jumps and berms, clips. Personally I'm biased. But 80s 90s tracks. Better or worse than racing today? no clips looked more fun. Dirt berms were tough and a different type of skill required. Slower, still injuries, but less serious in numbers.. What's your take?
@@Quillan164 oh okay, if you are allowed can you tell me the brand? So far I have two Elite riders with Leatt gear hehe, got me the 3DF Air Fit upper and Hybrid Knee Shin 3DFs too on the way hopefully if lockdown doesn't stall them indefinitely. I have knee shin and hips plus elbows in G-Form but they grip the shirt or pants and slide against the skin making burns, so just seeing what BMX racers wear that can deal with not only impact but also abrasion and sliding at speed etc. Glad to hear the shoulder is on the mend bud and keep up the vlogging - nice to see in to peoples prep, training and life when they are not behind the bars 👍

@@Quillan164 and by the last one you mean the start gate crash, had one of those myself on a concrete start ramp, went down on my left side hands out and strained both hands (EVS Writster gloves tho!), burn under pads on my elbow, massive bruising on left hip, scraped lower leg on pedal pins, destroyed shoes etc - pretty epic and still a bit sore in my hands from it. Oh and did another one misjudged a double and went down the face straddling the top tube and slammed in to the triple face - fun times!
