    • Never understood that. Chris Senior just never got recognized and was tops at his time, but the boxing insiders in GB gave him nothing. He must of done something or not played nice with the media… doesn’t Matter cause his record and all his fights were good, even the ones he lost.

  • Got the feeling back then, as I do listening now, Jim Watt couldn't wait to see Eubank lose. But Eubank made him eat his words at almost every negative comment. Good fight though. Two of Britain's best.

Then I watched Ubanks apologizing for the damage he caused, which had to be such a weight off his chest! Easily, one of the best fights in the history of boxing! Two warriors! • Awful stoppage, especially because there were only a few seconds left in the round. Richard Steele was notorious for bad stoppages. Just look at Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor 1. Richard Steele stopped the fight with just a few seconds to go in the final round, giving Chavez the win he wouldn't have got on the scorecards.

      @radseven89@radseven89 Жыл бұрын
    • It has nothing to do with how many seconds are left. Benn wasn't defending himself properly and Eubank began unloading. As a referee if a fighter isn't defending himself intelligently and taking shots you have to step in, it only takes a split second to unload a career ending shot. Going out on your shield is such a bullshit 80s mindset, ask Michael Watson or Gerald McClellan their views on early stoppages vs going out on your shield. Trainers are culpable too look at the state of Cleverly here and listen to his corner making him go out for the next round which they should never had done: kzhead.info/sun/oKmfaNiXqqqBdnA/bejne.html

The last one was a unbelievable fight !!! If you get caught taking P.E.D's you should get banned and go to prison. Makes you think if the elite boxers of the 90's - early 00's we're juicing !? Looking at ther physiques and stamina to fight 12 rounds at full speed they must of . 😔 the respect these fighters deserve is unbelievable, however doping in this sport is unforgivable!

The serpents with mics in their hands, as the guy's bleeding out of his mouth, EXPECT them to have some long chat immediately after getting hit in the head and body for 36 minutes. 🙄 The fans understand more than the media ticks on the floor and would've understood why Eubanks had to leave, if only the ghouls around him would've let him. @anslemslove5215@anslemslove5215 Жыл бұрын
    • You cannot make anybody look like an amateur. Amateur simply means you participate for free. That is the only difference in amateurs and professional, professionals work for money. Also, one fighter did beat both. Steve Collins fought both twice, and beat both of them twice. Collins is one of the most underrated fighters of that era. A few years back Collins and Benn were both gonna come out of retirement and have a third fight, and Collins even got licensed again, but the commission would not sanction the fight. Now there has been a bunch of old fighters coming back.

    • @@chrisgullett4332 - "Look like an amateur" is an expression that means "someone who does not have much skill in what they do". Mike McCallum made Michael Watson "look like an amateur" in their fight, whereas Watson had given tough fights to both Benn & Eubank (twice). He beat Steve Collins too.
