I attempted to take my life 7 years ago in march. I’m here standing tall to say I survived

1 lost my brother to Suicide 17 years ago on Father's day. The pain still hasn't left me. If anyone reads this and ever feels like the world would be better without them, it won't be. It will be far better with you in it and you will save the ones you leave behind a pain that is incomprehensible unless you' ve been through it.

My son's best friend took his life in March 2020. Just hours after my son left his house. It still rocks us to our core today and forever! I wish we could have left a light on for, Blake. Miss you buddy and love you.

We all miss Chester and a big thumbs up to pappa roach there is help out there I've had 2 friends that tuck there own life's. I've been so down in my life and wanted to take my own life but my my kids are in my thoughts my kids ate my life and my wife so love to all out there ❤. John

This is a beautiful song. I am so impressed by Papa Roach, Disturbed, Shinedown, and other bands coming up with excellent songs about addiction and depression. I'm also impressed by the dedication to Chester Bennington. Chester was a brilliant singer, and there was much beauty in him due to his creativity and soulfulness. (Can you say beauty about a man? Well, why not?) I wish Chester were still here with us.

I saw jacoby perform this in a very chester style in Syracuse man it tore you open. Not a dry eye me and my best brother embraced for longer than we should it was so special thanks for being our light jacoby. Our last truck ride together we belted this together we'll never forget thank you brother.

Thank you so much for uploading this with the intro! Linkin Park have been my favorite band for exactly 20 years now and I never got to see them live. I remember like it was yesterday the moment I learned about Chester's passing, and I cried for him as if he was a family member. People may find it weird to feel so strong for someone whom you've only known through screens and through their art but so many of us here in the rock music community know what it's like to be saved by someone's voice or a piece of art that came straight from someone else's pain - and hope for a better tomorrow. This performance is so beautiful, and I love the Papa Roach guys even more for dedicating it to Chester. 💜(It also made me cry a bit for him once again. Haven't done that in a while but it feels good, in a bittersweet way.)

5 years and 4 months ago, i almost took my life due to being bullied, anxiety, and coping with my ASD diagnosis. a close friend of mine took his life a year later, and I dealt with the aftermath of his death while in an abusive relationship fast forward to today: I'm still kicking ass, and learned to cope with ASD

Chester saved my life I got to talk with him he showed me, I just didn't know at the time he was dealing with his own demons but still gave his time for me to speak myself & he answered & saved me love u chester

This song truly hits home for me I've had 3 friends commit suicide in tue last 2 yrs now. The last of which was last Oct 14 and the loss of James has impacted so many people none of us saw this coming with him he was always the life of the party always had a smile on his face always making everyone else smile. I love you and miss you my brother I wish you had stopped to talk to me when you drove past my house that rainy Saturday morning 😢😢

I lost a best friend November 1st 2019. He was trying to stop a fight and got shot at 19 years ago He was like a brother to me. I hope he knows how much I miss him...... I used to cut myself bc I was bullied a lot growing up and it got worse when my friend was murdered. I got to the point I reached for a gun my sister was trying to take it from my hands but it went off anyway and hit me barely missing my heart. I had help eventually and the scars on my arms and chest are my reminders.

There is one musician that I won't be able too meet and say thank you in person, and it's Chester. 😢 I would like to meet Jacoby and say the same after hearing this song

I LOOOVE Papa Roche!! So much! Your music really did save my life.. I lost my Mother in 2016 Alzeimers.. Then I lost my Sister to a HORRIBLE car accident , one year later. I took in her kids and finished raising them.. Then I lost the love of my life, after 17 years of being together, two years later🥲 He was so young🥲 He began having seizures out of nowhere. .. Then a year later, 2019, he had a seizure at our dinner table. I watched the LOVE OF MY LIFE, collapse to the floor, and die right in front of me. I just held his hand after DESPERATELY TRYING to give him CPR with the 911 operator on the phone. Unfortunately, my effort was unsuccessful, he passed away before the Medics arrived🥲 He went into 😮😅cardiac arrest😢 Then, unfortunately, I found out I had stage two cancer one year later, after going through Chemo and radiation, I decided to move back home to Cali to be with my dad, and so I could heal my body.. I’ve been living in another state since I moved away 30yeRs ago.. after moving out here, my Dad unfortunately, passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago! SO, THAMK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC.. It HELPS PPL LIKE Me, to be able. To move forward in like. Thank you😘

I never got over Chester’s death it was part of my middle school years they came out to be known right around my childhood there music saved me through hard times I am not one to have suicide thoughts but I know we have at some point hit that breaking point never got to go to their concert and that’s what kills me I loved linkin park forever. Rip Chester and those who all killed themselves like my cousin did he was 17 in 2001 when I was 11 the only one who did that but I will never forget it his mom only had him she was never the same I can’t imagine how a parent could lose a child to suicide.
