  • This arc of the channel is like.. when you're playing an MMO and your alt becomes your main.. then you end up learning the game from a whole new perspective and when you finally go back to your main, you're a completely different animal.

    • @@BigDipper907 No, it was purchased. My late father & I started the build in 2015 & I've steadily upgraded it since. We do a lot of street work up here in the northeast so I don't really like putting it out there too much. Seen a lot of guys get burned with reckless posts. Tho I've been asked to start a channel numerous times lol. Almost every Import Faceoff or Import V Domestic I go to I get that comment.

    • @@spdcrzy Yeah, because you don't need it. That's kinda like having your boots on while getting in bed. Besides, a stock haya with proper tires and a good rider will outrun a car even at those torque levels. So... torque means nothing in the bike world.

  • I really need to get involved into racing . So many of the techniques and thought processes behind them come so natural to me. Every time I watch one of these videos rob talks about something he’s learning to go faster or be faster and it’s something I’ve already been thinking in my head or doing on sim . Eye opening and makes me want to get serious

  • I've been in this industry here down under for 35 years. I can tell you that this brand is really good for business and it's the one I've had to do the most 'maintenance' on. Wish you all the best with yours. The other two brands very rarely. Make of that what you will.

  • I've got a Tick TR6060 in my twin turbo Coyote powered '65 Mustang. Tick cam/valvetrain/clutch/hydraulic setup in my Gen V LT4 Aston Martin. Active Team Tick member as well. They've always been great to deal with, awesome company.

  • I built the very first prototypes for ppg and and in partnership with one of the undisclosed 8 elite tremec reps about 8 years ago. Very cool to see where they are today, shit the ppg gear set alone was i think a little under 20,000... cool shit

  • What maximum speed are you expecting to hit on the mountain? I've gone for pretty long (relatively) gearing in my sequential, but she won't be at PPIHC for another two years or so. Max out at ~170mph @8000rpm

  • Almost nutted over the new trans! Working on a 350z build using your nemesis LS 5.3 build. But the trans would be a sick way to go!! I would still trade cars though! LS is a great motor to turbo , coyotes rev ti the moon and sound sick but that Mazda has all others beat when it comes to the pure sound ! Love it Rob I can’t wait!! So excited to see how you do !!! Pikes Peak brother damn !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It will be fun I personally am a fan of the low helix gear sets. Think helical gears but with less helix most famous being th Muncie m22 "rockcrusher" 4 speed.

  • darn, i liked the fact the 4 rotor was built to win, including a seequential transmission, but i liked the 3 rotor having a dog box h pattern even more. h patterns are awesome. i get that if you want the car to be as fast as possible sequential is a no brainer though. but h pattern was just so much more baddass.

  • Rob, for cooling, try looking up what Mercedes AMG F1 are doing with Reaction Engines. I think, if you could replicate what they're doing, it could lead to some major weight savings + performance gains over stock cooling methods.

  • Does anyone have any links or search terms I could use to research transverse-mount rotaries? In my dream garage there are a couple cars I'd like to rotary swap (AW11 MR2, CR-Z) and looking to crush my dreams with impossibilities lol I thought a CR-Z with a 13B with the IMA still functional might be quite interesting; using the IMA to aid in lower RPM accel and city mpg. My guess it is a project hell or maybe Rob would've considered putting a rotary in his Insight! ;)
