Lol. What did you want him to do? We needed players in the summer and he barely got enough midfielders to replace all outgoing players. Van Dijk is knackered. Quansah is a kid and Konate is underperforming. Time and time again we get into good positions but fail to make the right passes and touches. Midfield is weak. No high energy like when we Henderson, Fabinho, and Wijnaldum. Personally, i think he deserves better than the backing FSG has given him

Yea Klopp keeps telling Nunez not to control a ball, or shoot properly. He told Endo not to be able to control a simple pass. He told Van Dijk to let Tarkovski bully him. He told Konate to be bullied by Calvin-Lewis. Tactics ensures you players are in the right areas to create chances. It's left up to them to create and score the chances. This is on the players.

Looking at those match stats are a joke. 77%/23% possession, 711/223 passes, Everton had 64% pass accuracy and 1.09 xg - those guys played barely a minute good football in that whole game and yet they win 2-0 because they simply fought harder and wanted it more than us which is unacceptable.

Vvd is lazy, good defender but has been looking after himself since his injury, hence your whole back 4 has suffered, no where near the level you put him on. Trent. Not your best right back and not good enough to play in Midfield, so you either bench him and throw him on if you need a goal or sell him. A late comment from me Craig (now 23.12 by my PC) but I essentially want to congratulate you on your excellent views and overall "bigger picture" of the Club at this particular time. I have been a Reds fan since a kid, I'm 70 in June, and have seen many changes over the years. My eldest brother took me as an 8yr old to see the Reserves play at Anfield after we'd played Celtic in the European Cup in midweek. I was fortunate to see the 65 Cup winning side and all the later variants up to 2018, when ill-health saw me take a back-seat. The "burn-out" of the previous season was never solved and Klopp's management style has been was obviously found wanting over this later period. I'm not going to repeat all what you've said as there is nothing to add. As Shankly said many times, "you can be successful all season and win trophies but it counts for nothing at the start of the next season." A new Manager will have to heed these words and build his own way, his own style and his own history. Let's hope him and HIS team all the success we can muster.

Respect from an Arsenal fan here. I’ve never had an issue with Liverpool and was always backing you a few years ago when you were City’s only competition. It’s interesting to see so many similarities in the problems Arsenal face / have faced recently and what Liverpool are now going through. Now we’re pulling together to try and beat the common enemy, the pretenders Man City, from buying another league!

I did say just a few matches back there are some players doesnt have anymore interest or motivation to play for Liverpool. Players like Diaz, Nunez and Salah are 100% sure to leave. So why would they bother to give a good send off to Klopp? From reports, there are other players who may leave also, like Trent, VVD or even Allison. Looking very likely for next season, it will probably be many new faces in the team. Thats why an experience manager is utmost important and he must settle in as fast as possible failing which we could fall behind teams like Villa, Spurs or even Brighton. We may even fail to qualify for top 4. Considering Klopp is leaving at the end of the season, the team has done pretty well by winning the carabao cup and 99% qualifying for the champions league. Liverpool has another 4 matches to go and we just hope they win one more game and draw another. Then we will have 78 points and confirm participation in the champions league.
We overachieved this season already, whole new midfield at start of the season it was unrealistic to think this new team could win it first time after such a rebuild. I was excited all day at work. Didn’t check any socials so i could keep the result a surprise, got off 4 hours after the game pumped to watch it then i just see that disaster. I should have just checked the score on google. That match wasn’t worth watching. I don’t know what’s wrong with Salah and Darwin, man. They don’t look like professional footballers. Sometimes you just have to admit that another team is more hungrier than you, at this point of the season. There’s no point berating each player, there’s nothing to achieve there ! Season was hard, we don’t have enough up top or at the back to cope. And clops announcement, that was the biggest mistake, This club has made lately, announcing it at the end of January. The stress on those players from February, March, and April, your Manager leaving, what a distraction from the real goal, the season was all there in front of us - last 3 months are business end. So what if it got leaked to the press you can always come out and say let’s plan until the end of the season and decide then, nothing to announce Just like when player could Leave, or when we linked to a player. Panic. Now, how much energy do these players have for next season ! That’s the biggest problem. Mental fatigue. Carragher is right, for all of klopp’s personality, it doesn’t win you finals, and to win games at the business end, this has happened when we drawed at Everton in one season and we drawed to Tottenham at Anfield, on another season. 2 extra titles, missed.
In hinsite we shouldnt be able to compete with city or arsenal. They have way better players than we do. Arsenal got the best defensive line in the league with gabriel, Saliba and white, they got odegaard, rice. City got rodri, de bruyne, haaland, Bernado silva. Our squad. Lets hope our squad has good development. Klopp has done what he can tbh.

I have a theory on why we have dropped of so badly and why we were doing so well up until least couple of games. When Jurgen said he is leaving I’m sure there was some internal dispute with Jurgen and FSG that will never come to light for personal reasons and I’m sure some legal reasons as well. When Jurgen said I’m done basically when he didn’t get his top targets he wanted in both summer and winter transfer window he got pissed of and said I’m out. FSG might have said we got rid off Edwards because you weren’t on good terms with and you are still whining then go, there is the door. And to show what they are gona miss out on he pushed the team to push for a quadruple. FSG still didn’t budge and brought Edwards back and started looking for a manager right away. So Klopp saw they are not gona try to stop him from leaving and give him more budget to work with and maybe even more power at that point he said ok f*ck it. You not getting any more trophies and let’s see who is gona want to come with underperforming players who are closer to the end of their career. Top managers would take on such a risk. And now he is doing bad just to show a middle finger to FSG and Edwards who’s going to struggle now. Yes this is an insane theory and can be completely wrong 😅 but how else can u explain what we are witnessing right now? We can’t be this bad against struggling teams and bad consistently. Players love klopp and are going along with it. Look how we play. Salah couldn’t be bothered to jump to win a header. So many bad passes and shots that feel like are being missed on purpose lol but hey don’t call me crazy I’m just losing my mind with what I’m seeing at the moment 😅😂
Could be why he smirks as well. Interesting theory, unfortunately I don't think it's true but depends if Klopp has that kind of influence over the players to do that. I mean FSG can't sack the whole team. I can't understand the drop off of all the players, I mean up until Chelsea when he bought the kids on, Bradley etc we were still firing at that point and still had it in our hands. They all seemed to drop off at the same time and we've been appalling ever since then. Maybe they're exhausted, lost motivation or maybe there is more to it like you say.

They barely get involved with the team unless it’s financial. I would not be surpsurprised if Jurgen was the one running the club this whole time. Embarrassing bad ,especially nunez and salah ,klopp making extraordinary bad decisions,liverpool wouldn't have beat everton ladies tonight ,salah is finished was hiding today ,nunes looked like a pub player ,liverpool and klopp gone stale.
I’ve always hated the way Klopp handles substitutions. He has been a great manager but that is one place he’s never been good at. Wish it could have ended better for Klopp as he’s been our best manager for so long. Looking forward to the future though.

I'm done with this team for the season, Klopp can also pissed off even though he'll always be a legend, stubborn, no plan B and still don't know how to use his 5 subs and the players are a foooooking embarrassment to the badge.
If a team cannot create chances from open play then we have no chance for consistent success. Liverpool always rely on winning ball on the press, free kicks, corners or pens. They have zero ability to create chances. Part of that is because the players lack technical ability (no touch or pass or cross in them) and the team lack fundamentals (lack of intelligent movement).
