Absolutely. We are concerned about defense and Szobo is big part of supporting both the defensive and offensive lines. Actually, he has covered many times for Trent who keeps leaving his position. We had better appreciate Dom's contribution before Arsenal, Madrid or City snatch him up. Believe me they will be happy to do that.

Honestly I completely disagree with the way the season is ending I think it's a good time to try things like Trent in midfield

Spurs fan here, I think you beat us. Our attack has been absolutely toothless these past few games and despite our defenders trying, we’ve just been shipping goals. Also Emerson royal will be playing so that’s a plus for you guys. I hope we win but I just can’t see it, hopefully it is a good game tho and not the shitshow that was the one in the beginning of the season.
Fair play, but tbh we have no pressure to grind out any massive results, cool heads & smooth sleek play. We secured C.L for 24/25 so stick on or schoolboys & give them a run to prove themselves , nothing to fear YNWA
i agree with a lot of this, we need to basically see this as an audition for certain players next season. I do want to see trent in that midfield position fully with bradley right back to see how it would work, i also want to see gravenberch against a better team than what he’s faced recently to see if he can cope with a higher level, salah needs to play so we can see exactly where he’s at cus if he continues his form for the last few games we might consider cashing in whilst we still have chance

As much as I like Gravenberch, it was his pass that was intercepted in the Man United game that changed the karma with Liverpool's season and it's been all downhill since then.

Would like to see that team but with Danns up front. Be interesting to see Trent in that position, although he just wouldn't get back when needed. I'd play him next to Macca a bit further back so he could still spray the balls about. Can afford to experiment these last few games.. I mean, could Diaz maybe play in the middle up top and Gakpo on the left?
Should use these 3 games to try new things ideally. But Klopp is going, and I don't know if he'll really experiment. I doubt it. I wouldn't mind seeing Danns. I'd also like to see Salah through the middle in all honesty. Put Diaz on the right, and Gakpo on the left with Salah through the middle. Gravenberch should play. Trent in midfield. These are things we should really try. Also, give Quansah and Gomez the 3 games at CB. Gomez deserves chances to play CB. He did well at LB, but he's not a fullback option long term. Both have been better than Konate.
With CL confirmed, do you think Jurgen and the lads should be getting a head start on playing a 4231 and helping Arne out getting started in a new formation.
I would not go for Trent midfield yet, keep at rightbackplay Quansah with Konate, Endo in and McAllister right mid, Gravenberg in, Diaz on right, Gakpo left... And Salah middle...
Stick with your initial statement of wanting to start looking to the future, although it will likely be very different with Slot. So I’d like to see Gapko in place of Diaz and Danns in the middle. It will be throwing him in to the deep end and Salah will have to support it, but he should start in at least one or more of these last games in the middle if Jota isn’t available. I like your choice of Bradley in the back and Trent in the middle, although that’s not giving Mac a chance to be where he’s much more comfortable which is pressing forward from the position you have Trent in. Tough choice!
