Thanks for posting! To the people criticizing this read...these are volunteers...if you think you're so much better than them, volunteer yourself!
Indeed, I’d give it a try. At least my reading doesn’t suck :)
That sounds like fun! How do we volunteer?
Agreed
It is one of the rules of Librivox; not to criticize the readers, who are kindly volunteering their time.
It is special to have this old play read. Only deterrent was not every reader was an actor.
I enjoyed this as a fairy tale version of the life of Catherine Howard. Normally I feel angry when a writer puts together a play based on a character of history but doesn’t bother to get the facts straight when the correct facts are readily available. After the first couple of lines I realized the fictionality of the play and decided to hang in and hear the rest of the play. The actress who played Catherine was the best of the bunch. Even the Henry character could have sounded like the real Henry. I was thrown by the Simon character and the Kennedy characters. I missed Jane Boleyn, Lady Rochford who was a main conspirator in the real drama. Still, I have to say that I enjoyed the play and I thank everyone volunteered their time and talents to create this little play. You have my thanks.
Uppps!! ToddHW editor....bless....still not listening!
🎵All you wanna do, all you wanna do baby🎵 I can't be the only one. PLEASE.

Well, this isn’t historically accurate, but I enjoyed it! 😊

@@cacambo589 who are you?
Morning
Wonderfully terrible. Apparently the actors recorded their parts at different places and times.
malediction . . what does it mean? 🙄
It's a curse
„Curse“
Thanks Texas Liberal Liberal, for shedding light as to one of the reasons why I stopped it at 2:48 seconds, I'm trying to relax for sleep but irrespective of your explanation then, the editing is horrific, unless this piece of literature is also responsible for it sounding, even in that short time, pretentious I badly need sleep, glad I paused it because if I let it scrape further on my nerves, I'd punch my tablets lights out!
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
A grade school production would have been better. Librivox sucks!
dreadful
Terrible readers! And Yes I could do better I speak the Queen's English!
Another book of utter dirge 😂
