  • the sort of voice that would make narration the last possible activity it should undertake

  • I was thinking of volunteering to narrate, but all this criticism makes me have second thoughts! It is mostly or all volunteers, and I'm sure people whose eyesight is failing greatly appreciate their time and effort. I know i do! I admit i have a problem when a narrator sings, and sing badly! I never comment negatively about it though,as much as I'd like to. In the Little house on the prairie series on the Libby app, Laura's Pa played the fiddle, so between chapters you are surprised by a lively tune. Not great when youre hoping to fall asleep listening! It shocked me awake the first time! Now I listen when I'm not trying to sleep, and I still didn't complain. Sometimes the narrators read entire novels that take many hours, and that must be exhausting.

  • If you speed it up - 1.25 probably: 1.5 is a touch quick - then the narration is actually alright. But running at normal speed, this wasn't the best. I'm sure it's tougher than spectators imagine to get these recordings done though, so thanks all the same to our Lady narrator for her efforts.

  • I love women. But this would have been better read by a man similar to the one who wrote it.

  • An unreasonable amount of negative criticism for the reader. She read fine. What’d u expect, Nolan north? Clear and easy to follow. Although I didn’t expect this to be a God book. 10/10
