A fun, easy brunch dish that upgrades traditional monkey bread with the use of canned cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients:
2 Cans Pillsbury Grand Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting
2/3 cup sugar
3-4 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup brown sugar
Cooking spray and flour for bundt pan
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease a normal-sized bundt pan and lightly cover with flour. Set aside.
Open the two cans of cinnamon rolls and cut eat roll into quarters, reserve the frosting. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon until well mixed, and roll each cinnamon roll piece to fully coat, and then place in the bundt pan. Repeat until all cinnamon roll pieces are coated. Mix together the melted butter and brown sugar and pour evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces. Place in the oven for 22-27 minutes or until the top is browned. Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes and then place a plate upside down on the top of the bundt pan, and flip over letting the monkey bread come out of the bundt pan. Drizzle over the frosting over the monkey bread ring, or use for dipping.
Happy Eating!

    • That's why it's called "pop and fresh" dough. But you may have to be older than 50 to know that.

  • Why don’t you just whack the van on the side of the counter where the line is located that way it wouldn’t be so frustrating for you

  • Delicious recipe. Bang the side of that can on edge of counter. That way you don't get cut . It's loud but less dangerous.

  • That isn't frosting at all that is icing the very definition of icing because it's rendering is of an icy aesthetic as opposed to a thick frosting.
