Finding new music is a key part of any DJ's practice. From their home in Berlin, CCL demonstrates the digging techniques they use: from unlikely search terms to the gifts of the comment sections.

    • When I encounter an error, I click on the playlist icon in the upper right corner of the player, select a song, and it works. I don't know if this method will work for you !

    • I usually play the first song, and if i'd like to check out the next one, i just click the > arrow on the player itself instead of clicking on the next track from the playlist (which is usually when i encounter the error!)

  • Awesome video. A common trick I love is finding vendors or record store accounts you and sorting their for sale section by ‘highest price’. You can find all sorts of obscure music that people are very fond of there

  • so sick. this is the only digging method that's been able to surpass the old yt sidebar. for anyone that logs into yt, you would train your algorithm using this method and it would open up a new path of discovery

  • this is interesting, I should try using discogs more myself. RYM is unmatched in terms of genre tagging though bc it's a community vote and they have so many sub-genres. so much better suited for digging for specific styles tbh.

    • Sometimes there is an error/bugg then you have to switch from one of the KZhead videos to another and just go back and forth until it loads it properly.. for some this might work or not.
