They look pretty decent. Way better than the Mercedes EQE.
I agree. Looking better than the EQE is about the lowest bar there is
EQE has the worst in class design
I love these new lights. I'm looking forward to them being available in more vehicles. Vorsprung Durch Technik indeed.
I want buttons for radio and AC !
Bold move CNET… giving a spokesperson job to someone with a lisp.
When a small bumper tap costs $5000 to replace a taillight
The normal light assembly already cost almost that much. Many times Audi vehicles are totaled from accidents that don't look very severe at all.
way more than that. on a q5, they have upper and lower tail lights. the lowers have no leds and are $900. idk how much the uppers are but probably 2-3k per side. some of the headlights on higher trims like say an rsq8 can be close to 10k for one. with this new technology and the light bar only one piece id guess possibly 15 maybe even 20k.
This is an example of a car company that focuses on stupid stuff to distract consumers rather than safety and import tech. Be like Tesla, way better
@@fuck_you_china Tesla can barely sell their cars now. Ended up letting go 10% of their workforce with more to come in the future.
Did this title previously say something about battery banks?
In 3 years every car has the same light bar at the back and they will all look the same
The interior design is a very huge deviation from their former designs. I might have to see one in person to see if I like them or not. Performance wise I hope they have some range on that thing. The only downsides of many other Audi EVs were their ranges.
I wonder if it’s good in snow?
Forgot to mention that buttons on the wheel aren’t individual tactile buttons, but a single touch-sensitive screen. Also didn’t talk about the seats or sound system.
It's weird how Merc moved away from the wide dash screen but everyone else is now implementing it.
Did he mention the price or I missed it?
I own an Audi etron and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE It. It is not this model. Top build quality plus the Audi ride. I will purchase another one when I need one.
Porsche Taycan > Audi etron
@@xruud24 Audi design looking better
@@mziwendukuntsele671 that's true but the Porsche handles better and has better interior
That threw me off for a second, idiot me was wondering what Heather lights were
I’m all for giving people a chance, but seriously. I don’t expect someone to cast me as the lead in a Broadway musical because I know I can’t sing. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. If you have a speech impediment, don’t expect to get a job speaking for a living.
Is it just me, or do the wheels look too small vs the wheel well?
If animated LEDs and the hefty price tag is all that sets this car apart then that's a very expensive set of animated LEDs.
This car is like a drivable Sphere!
Split headlights have got to stop
3:00 How can drivers in following or approaching vehicles see those tiny little triangles in the rear lights? How?
By using their eyes? Looks like pretty normal sized rear lights to me, and I am sure that if a normal rear light in from of you switches size or flashes a triangle, it will be pretty noticable. These days a lot of cars have gotten "running" turn signals, and to me these tend to be very visible, because as soon as something is unusual or moving it catches the eye.
@@vmanrn2906 still don't see how the running indicator lights translate to the tiny triangles. Anyway I'll wait to see how effective the tech is in real life. "By using their eyes" simply isn't a good enough explanation for me.
Nice toy but after 3 months of ownership you dont care anymore like the matrix headlight on my q4
I saw it! :)
1:15 complete waste of use, no one needs that and will distract other drivers because they will not know if they are going to turn signal because that’s where you’d expect it to be .
Oled? Image burn-in warning!!
Audi have last the plot on this one that exterior and interior look bloody average at best
Way too many screen. Can we just have 1 please
I'm halfway through the video, and all I see is showing off characteristics that do not improve the drivability and experience behind the wheel. Again, EVs are only targeting Rich customers.
Its an Audi. Go for a BYD if you want affordable EV's for the masses
Gimmicks over reliability. No thanks.
