Defunding will allow us to find other preventative measures for situations. Rich people already have private security so it doesn’t matter what they do, like it really doesn’t matter what rich people do bc they are rich and will do it anyways. Police training is lacking already fyi and police funding is usually around 12-30 percent of a cities budget.

Quite a bit. Heck, the US government already outspends most nations with publicly funded healthcare... on healthcare alone. Just restructuring the healthcare system to be an actual public service instead of a lucrative profit centre and then using that surplus from military and police spending to boost much needed social services and perhaps start rebuilding American soft power abroad with good deeds instead of invasions. It would really be nice to have the US come back to the light and rejoin the rest of the West. We miss ya.
Maybe the next President can put the State Department back together again, and like, try diplomacy with those who know how to do it.

It’s always been like that. Actually most of them are probably from the rural areas that hate the government and don think their vote matters. Trump was able to get a lot of them to vote for the first time in their lives and he aims to do it again.
Not voting is a legitimate boycott strategy. However, it does have it's weak points.
We need mail-in ballots nationwide! Not enough people can get time off from work to stand in line for 12 hours. Also, since 2013, certain areas have been closing polling places to discourage the poor from voting.
