I've been doing the focus thing since I went for a training session. It really has helped in every day life. We do it daily. I also do it when he's too rowdy. And it really helps calm him. I didn't get mine till he was 8 months and he knew nothing but he did know his name , and he was house trained. That's why I didn't change it. That was his original name. I'm his 3rd or 4th owner. Bless his heart . He didn't get the things he needed as a puppy. But he has a good life now. I use those frozen meat balls cut in tiny peices. And I use his kibble too. He likes to be hand fed.
I have had my husky puppy 1 week now and I am so in love with her. Except - we call her "baby shark" because mine and my husband's arms are shredded! Gotta be quicker with the diversion toys!! Thanks for this first awesome step!

Picked up my pupperoni on last week. 5 weeks old 😮😄. Such a good boy can’t take him outside because not vaccinated yet, but he’s a smart doggo and is trained already to pee and poop on the wee pads. He’s a good ole floofy bear.

I adopted a 5 year old breeder Siberian Husky 3 days ago. She certainly is not used to being in a home and apart of a family. I have my 6 year old Pomeranian male and the 2 get along ok but don't play yet. Myah seems fearful of dirt ( I live on a farm) and she will not come when called to go out. I am handicapped so I can't take her for a walk and she is still adjusting to a collar... I have to use a leash to get her to come to where the lead is, hook lead up then walk (hobble) with her down the ramp to the ground. Praise her lots when she finally goes onto the grass, and let her stay out for half an hour or more. . My pom is both house broken and paper trained and Myah immediately used the paper from day 1 😄. This gives you an idea of what areas some folks need help with to help our Husky's 😊. Thank you

Struggling from cancer myself, and the death of my Australian shepherd who had cancer too!! I've come to you sixty formula as I've made friends with a husky neighbour and I spend all my time with him, teaching him, I've got him to find sea snail shells in the garden I hide and bring me them. I don't know what else I could hide ?? I also wonder what the music you are playing it's Dogsome. !

Hey! Just got my husky pup a week ago and she’s not even 2 months old yet. I give her treats for doing good things here and there but when should I seriously start training her? And is it okay for her to act aggressive when I try to get her to stop doing something? (Biting plants in the house or getting her back in the house)

my kitty was much much more energetic than yours yet I wonder how it would be with husky company :P BTW I talk about a 20 pounds skinny male grown with a lot of chicken treats, it actually ran on the walls and liked metal music xD Im planing on a older dog/baby cat household soon, yet I fear my golden doodle will be overthrown once I have my way with the cat xD keep it up dude! Huskies are a life long love for me , one of the best creatures in the cosmos. (im a cat person still thinking huskies have some small catish ways)

I just got a beautiful Siberian Husky with arctic wolf two days ago we named him Maikoh pronounced ( My eco) it is Navajo for Wolf. We had a Siberian Husky many years ago and I just fell in love with the breed. After my last pet died I swore off anymore pets due to the heart break but 4 years later I see these babies and just fell in love all over agian. I have enjoyed watching your videos these past couple of days to help with ideas and plans. I have always feed my pets Science diet what do you think about that brand I have always thought they were a very safe brand?

If it's biting your feet ? it does not need more room to roam. Shorten the leash so the head doesn't go low enough to bite. Like a pack walk.

Huskys are extremely clean as dogs go. My wife and I often joke about ours being a catdog. Bathe them when they stink. Depending on the environment they live in they can go 3 months without a bath. If you live where it snows Huskys don't need many baths. I live in Florida so about every 6 weeks. When he stinks.
futuristic Gaming depends, is the dog constantly panting? If so then icy is good,in the summer we set up an ice bath for my husk to let him cool off I recommend you do the same.
You really don't have to bath them unless they get into something. Or lake swimming. Twice a year is what's recommended.

Thanks for these. I'm adopting an Alaskan Husky. I understand that's a mix, but of a Siberian Husky and ..? He's 3.5 to 4 years old. Sled pulling dog. Owner says dog is fine, but he's literary giving 2 away. And he can't find the paperwork.. sketchy? Could it have a wrecked hip or something. He didn't even insure his dogs. He meant Huskies rarely got ill.. This must be a myth? Advice? If he won't produce papers or the contact info for the guy he git it from when he was 1.5yrs old. He says that the digs needed to be replaced because they were challenging the lead dogs of the sled and atw pulling with a full team if dogs. Advice?

DUDE!! I rescued a 1yo husky/shepherd mix 2 wks ago. She was sick when I got her so we are just now starting to train her. I've been struggling tbh. I watched this and one other video, went right out and tried it and she was unbelievably responsive! I just gotta stock up on turkey, she has not responded to any other treat b4. I do have a question if you dont mind. Whomever had her b4 fed her straight table scraps apparentl. She barely touches dog food, and ALWYAS seems hungry even after eating a decent amount. Are huskies always hungry? Is that a shepherd straight, and how do I fix it, I dont want her getting over weight

I just got a malamute puppy and prior to her, I had a few GSD's and a Pekingese that lived 14years. They learned very fast(like within a week) where to potty and the rule is very VERY simple, you just need to be consistent. Follow this rule: Eat->Out, Nap->Out, Play->Out, Sleep->Out. When they go potty outside you congratulate him just like he won the No. 1 Place at a contest. When accidents happen and he goes potty inside, just lower your voice and tell him that you are not happy with that. But do it ONLY when you catch him in the act...it has no effect if you do it 2 hours later. Have fun with your pup and enjoy a better life starting now ! :]
