A 3 minute ad??? Seriously?
Holy shizz warthunder better have paid well for that massive ad
"If you haven't heard of war thunder, you are in luck" 😂😂
i bet my week pay you never played war thunder and never will lolllll
@@1337SkPoison on a 17 min video even...
I personally have never seen cleaner welds on any automotive KZheadr channel. I'm completely speechless. Wow. Amazing job.
That man may as well have a robotic welding arm thats crazy
@@MattB90 well if you know how to weld then you know that what he did( thanks to tools that he has) is not hard at all. Rotating machine + Tig machine with pulse mode gives you 99% close to perfection consistency. All respect to that guy he is great welder and i'm sure when he started working for many years he worked without all those fancy tools etc.
@@salazar1104 Thanks for the context, I have much to learn
Right up to the point where you see the welds on the hangers and logo and say, “…what happened?”.
Seriously! Like a robot weld!
Chris is incredibly skilled. Videos of the exhaust don't do it justice. What a beauty
My thoughts exactly. Other than I haven't seen the exhaust in person yet.
Just a 30k Exhaust... *"He says while a tear drop falls from face to empty wallet"*
Why does everyone say that lol I don’t think he would be rebuilding a McLaren p1 if 30k was an issue lol but you are not wrong either like wtf bro id be working for 6 months to pay for that lmao 😂
He definitely didn’t pay $30k. Collaboration deals save you TONSSS of money.
😂😂😂 he didn't pay $30,000 lol
Wallet may be empty but his bank ain't.
I'd have $30,000 in scrap pieces on the ground before I connected the first section
Such a fun build to be a part of. Everybody was first class and so genuine. Great capture of the process!!
A true artist can use underpowered, Harbor Freight tools! Well done, Chris.
I keep saying on every discussion about tools that if you have the skills, you could complete the build with 1800s hand tools. Now, welding is an exception, but the point stands for everything else. Woodwork? If you can't cut with a hand saw, your skills aren't where you think they are. I'm not saying people have to use them, time saved with power tools is very important, but you should be *able* to. It's always been about the person, not the tools.
And knows how to work without removing the angle grinder's guard.
There is no Harbor Freight in Canada.
@@Fullion-CA It was filmed in Florida...
Yeah that wasn’t a Harbor Freight welder he was using, but I get what you’re saying.
My late dad was a coded welder and worked on Polaris Submarines his welding was to X-ray , he'd love to see the art is still alive and the technology has moved on with more safety in mind 👍back in the day they didn't have the breathing apparatus didn't have now and he succumbed to lung disease 💔 great video and a fantastic end product 👍
Thankyou for sharing. I was wondering the fumes welders must breathe in and if it affects them. Your comment confirms my doubts
That was one of my favourite videos I’ve ever seen. I loved seeing and hearing the artist at work. There was something very meditative and beautiful about seeing the welding in the dark and hearing the stark naked sounds of fabrication. Not only was the end result a masterful work of art, the entire process looked, sounded, and felt like the most serene performance I’ve witnessed in a while…
A part of me wishes i found these two channels after the build so i could binge watch it but its been a pleasure all these years.
You can bingewatch them again at any time! During the build, after the build, whenever!
Chris at Unobtainium is a true artist. Great work 🤩
Some of the best welding camera shots I've seen on KZhead. So many just leave it super bright / flashy or use a bad filter, making it difficult to see anything.
Its great to see a fellow Canadian welder get recognized for his absolutely awsome welding & fab skills, doing us proud 👏 .. Can't wait to hear this beast of a P1 come to life, great work Freddy & crew 😊
That's the cleanest wielding I have ever seen. You can tell this guy is a professional.
I am a carpenter for 30+ years and I know that this is a very good welding job. It was seemless! He is an artist without a doubt! Chris you're the man!
A man with a blue flame welding cap and helmet mean business. True Master at his work and the exhaust came out beautifully!
I've never seen somebody pumping gas for welding better, a surgeon he is, amazing! By the way it looks like a lot people misunderstood it as he charged 30k for this exhaust, there isn't such a thing said in anywhere in the video. Tavarish most probably talking about McLaren price in the title..
Purge welding? It's normal practice in pipe joining to avoid defects - though for most exhausts in normal cars you probably wouldn't bother.
0:34 …
that's the whole reason the welder needs gas in the first place. The argon flowing over the tip pushes out all the air for a cleaner weld. Purging the pipe does the same thing on the backside and is commonplace in the industry
@720MotorWorks to have a nice weld you need to remove the oxygen 1 way or another....thats y they use gas
@@Beer_Dad1975thanks for us non welders it now makes sense
Being an expert welder is only half the battle. There's so much to making an exhaust system... sure hope this sounds as good as it looks!
Wow, I don’t know much about welding but I can see a perfectionist at work. Very impressive.
This talent is so impressive it's actually hard to grasp. Well done sir
Really enjoyed the segment without any music overlay; just the sound of TIG magic!
I spent my career making dental restorations; long span bridges (5 to 10 unit), and mastering the arts of ceramics & shading. My point…it’s so gratifying to watch an artist/craftsman. 👍
when you really try hard to talk about yourself while someone else perform
@@buttkicker8512when you make fun of people because they actually do something and you dont
Awesome to see Chris in a video. Good ol Alberta boy crushing it. Beautiful work
For anyone wondering x pipe y pipe h pipe and 4-1 headers are all devices to help create a low pressure area in the exhaust which essentially is a vacuum pulling the exhaust out of the cylinders. On forced induction engines big diameter and straight flow out of the cylinders is what is beneficial to make more power. In natural aspiration engines these exhaust devices that create a vacuum effect are needed to make more power.
Unobtainium delivers quality, we've seen that many times on the exhausts they made for DDE cars.
Thank you for this How To video. Was very helpful when making my own $30,000 exhaust on my own P1! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2k in materials and 28k in expertise buddy! Good luck 🙏😁
This format was amazing. That dude is a master of the craft!
This P1 is the greatest build vlog the internet has ever seen
Honestly I enjoy these videos just as much if not a little more than the main channel. Keep up the awesome content Freddie!
Absolutely anything related to this build is an amazing video. I love how you break down different components of the build and focus on those. Very educational and informative. Thank you so much. 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Unbelievable craftsmanship
The exhaust that unobtanium did for DDE was an absolute work of art super talented bloke fair play and this exhaust now for the P1 looks insane too. Master at his art.
Man. He literally has to be the best welder I've ever seen.. those dimes were laid amazingly.. Tarvarish I'm so happy you had him make your exhaust. DDE KNOWS HIM PERSONALLY AND HAS HIS EXHAUST ON THE SENNA.. THE P1 IS GONNA SOUND INSANEEEE.
Thank you for showing us this. Always great to see a true craftsman at work. His exhaust is automotive art.
nice to watch a true master at work!
Loving the consistency of uploads on both channels Freddy… this is the businesssssssss
I love the video, showcases another builder. It makes you appreciate the exhaust more seeing all the work that is done to it.
There is something cathartic about watching a master at their craft. They make it look effortless and smooth, and we know it took them a lifetime to get there.
Thank you for the tutorial! Now I can make it for my 2 million dollar flooded Mclaren P1 at home!
One of the first videos I was glued beginning to end. To watch professional craftsmen explain stuff is so enjoyable. I am watching so many like him retire with no kids willing to step up and take their places. So here’s hoping he keeps this going with someone.
Beautiful work on the welding 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇬🇧
I liked the format, was a highly skilled guy quietly impressing us with his work. The videography was very good too.
Love watching exhausts get made. So much skill.
loved it freddy! you and Matt are literally leading youtube. crazy!!! ive been watching you since 2018, its was all you and chris at b is for build back then for me. thanks for all of the awesome years of viewing mate, love from the UK! next time you are here id love to meet you bro.
Thanks Freddy it's always great to watch a True Craftsman at work.
Wow.. Loving the engineering/welding/fabrication involved in this video. Hats off to Chris. It is awesome to follow yourself and Mat on your KZhead channel.! Well done.! Living in the limelight with everything that is going on behind the scenes is definitely very challenging and very exciting at the same time. Great effort.!
the skills of an excellent craftsman making performance exhausts that look like art. doesn't get much better. i could watch it all day.
That is a straight up piece of art!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!
Loved it, great to see all the people working on the P1, and all the other projects
That was awesome watching him work like that. Absolutely a work of art!
What an amazing video Freddie, its always nice to have a video thats slightly different and it was incredible to watch a master at work. Ive seen Chris do stuff for DDE as well and his work is like art.
Look at those welds, its so clean. What an artist
Chris is a true Master at what he does!! Can’t wait to hear the P1 fire up Freddy! Keep it up my man, doing a killer job!
This is INSANE... what he does with the welding by hand is impressive... simply amazing!
@6:50 He cut that by hand! 😮 Dayum!!! If I tried something like that, my cuts would be all uneven! Much respect to you, Chris!
Loved watching the fabrication of the exhaust! These kind of videos are always mesmerising to watch
loved the slowmo shots of the guy working, the skill and the shot combined 👌🏼
Omg his welds are just beautiful 😍It's honestly not a bad price for the custom bespoke work, labour and materials. Best P1 ever! Have the boys in UAE jealous
Tavarish, you mad man... I'm still blown away that you even started this whole project. Keep up the good work! Love the content!
Simply gorgeous. Welding on this level is pure Art.
Watching this man work is incredible what a Master!!
This is so cool, it makes me want to start welding again. So much fun
Man I have so much respect for the people who make something just from simple and single parts. The vision and skill to materialize that vision is awesome to watch.
A True Craftsman, that is some serious skill and creation.
A true master of his craft. Phenomenal. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like!
That welder is superb, pure skill. 👍
This video could have a “that’s what she said” joke every 15 seconds. Points to Tavarish for showing admirable restraint.
The craftsmanship on that exhaust next level 😎👌
That Man is an Artist. Congrats Sir WELL DONE.
Thanks for sharing, welding is one of the most beautiful processes to watch. 😎
Top welders fabricators like him are absolute artistes ! I'm still learning after 27 years of doing the same ! Beautiful job 👏 👌
