I read a lot of negative comments here, but for some of us that are part time welders or fabricators, and do not have a full set of tools, only a manual grinder/cuter this is very illustrative. I will definetely build my own working table with this instructions...wish me luck
I hope for you sake you do your research and learn how to do it correctly. Even with the limited tools available he did the job incorrectly.
This table is kind of gimmicky. I would never advise someone to build something like this. Better have a solid metal table. Then you add a hard rubber or thick plywood on top when needed. And you dont need the plywood or hard rubber to cover the whole table, just half will do. And basically it's only use is to dampen the sound.
@@user-ks4sg4cs7m Sorry. I didn't understand. Can you translate please?
Thank you for taking the time to show others skills they are trying to learn on their own.
Great video, Sergey. And yes, it is cost-effective. Difference is for those of us who were schooled in "Eastern" Europe, the technician is taught to perform numerous tasks. Welding, grinding, cutting, shaping... All of this is part of the curriculum. And of course, drawing and measuring.
Thanks a lot for your great welding video ! Very inspiring indeed. Thanks for sharing !!!
Truly excellent! You are a very talented fabricator. Thank you for sharing!
I'm just learning to weld, I think this is a perfect welding table. Thanks for the great idea. 👍
Sergey, you are doing some fine things here. Many of the little geometric tricks that you perform in this video are impressive, but not too cost effective for those of us who must work for a living.
this is very useful idea, and we can use it in our everyday life. Good job!
Sometimes it not about if there are better/faster ways. It’s about the outcome. Having the knowledge how to do things different ways with the same outcome, make people like this guy very valuable. ...."in my humble opinion"
This was a lot of great work and tips. Thank you for sharing.
Parabéns.. bom trabalho ! Congratulations.. good job !
Magnífico trabalho amigão!!!!
Simple and clear ! Thank you.
I'm not a welder. I use to cut the steel on the Radiack saw and I did the grinding to remove the weld slag for the welders. You do good work. Impressive. Quality work. I can tell you are a really good welder.= that takes pride in his work.
Parabéns! Excelente profissional

i love the working table that you made i like to made like your tables thank you for the great ideas you have sir! 😍👍👏👏👏
THANKS FOR POSTING One thing, though..., turn your voltage and wire speed down and you can run a continuous bead instead of tacks, so when you grind it smooth, you're not grinding all your strength away. I'm not trolling...just helping the fellow out. Adjust your power till your bead sounds like frying bacon. If it's too jumpy, cut your wire speed back a tad. You need a closer wire stick out, for thinner metal and if you have a thick metal and a thin metal, throw most if your heat onto the thicker metal and wash back onto your thinner. Use an elongated cursive e pattern as you move. When you get to the end of your run, double back on itself before you stop. That wat you wont blow a hole in your edge. You'll see a BIG difference.
Boas dicas em diversos segmentos!

Good Job!!! Enjoyed the video!! Didn't have to put up with long-winded, meaningless talking, the guy just worked!! In process of building a welding table and just changed my plan to a turntable!!

I’m thinking that, where ever he’s from, you’re considered a welder as long as you use a claw hammer to do your metalwork.

Cutting out two triangles and bending it to fit would've been faster
There are better ways of doing these by far. And I get a chuckle every time one of these roll across my feed. I can't help but think "A grinder and paint will make me the welder I ain't"
They suck at welding.

Honestly at this point I’d just take some sheet metal and make 2 cuts and weld it. That’s if I ever needed to weld a cap at the end of square tubing.

Nice vid and music tho
So, maybe understand that not everyone watching this video is a fabricator/welder and ARE learning something? Don't like it, can't use it, move on. No need to slam the video. Even us old dogs can learn a thing or two, once in a while. I may not need a combo welding/wooden workbench to save space but.. I did get an idea for making a rotating grill/roaster on a "table" over a fire, old technique, new inspiration. It happens, one in a while. ;)

Sir thank you for a great video. Because you build it with basic hand tools those of us who haven't got a fabrication shop should be able to build our own. I'll build mine with glass and a vacuum between back and glass so it will work as an exposure table for screen printing on glass. After printing it must be fired in a kiln. I'm eager to build my own. i can do it’s cating to fitting, my work place Malaysia, good job😍
LMAO!... *DISCLAIMER: NO WELDERS WERE HARMED OR QUERIED IN THE MAKING OF THIS BAKED POTATO....
Can you do this with round pipes?
Yes but you would need a mitre saw not an angle grinder. I mean an angle grinder can work but you wouldn’t be straight on you would have to square the angles and fill gaps
Why on earth would ever want to do this to any pipe?

Why tf did you cut 45s on the first one and not just put them together it would have been so much easier
Also would have kept uniform cross-section, not pinched.
nuclear explosion you could cut the 45•s and then use them on the inside corner for superior strength. Otherwise I could bang em together quick like you said
