Are you a collegiate athlete that wouuld like a highlight video made for you? Just send me a tweet, and I'll see what I can do to make one for you!
Which national championship is your favorite/most memorable from the last 25 seasons?
Texas v USC
Harris Highlights osu v Miami
Nebraska Miami Nebraska Tennessee
osu Miami and osu oregon
Harris Highlights clemson alabama
Man it's just crazy to see how dominant Nebraska was during the 90s.
I'm a USC fan and can respect Nebraska. Everyone talks about Bama and the SEC. Nebraska was constantly in the title picture from like 1985 to 1997. Colorado had some good years int he 90's, and OU was a bully in the 80's. That old south west was every bit as good as what ppl thought the SEC was.
I’m a Nebraska fan because of my dad he grow up there
Yep, you never know who is gonna pop up next.
@@benjaminunanaowo2929 Nebraska didn't have more than 3 losses in a season from 1969 to 1997.
never realized how dominant Nebraska was in the 90's
😠😠😠😠
Dee Boii yeah I miss those days lol
Tom Osborne was a really good coach. Nebraska really hasn't been relevant since he retired.
Oo so u know nothing of football?
@@AlmostGangsta Nebraska had a Heisman trophy winner and went to a National Championship game after Osborne left. Then a couple seasons later Frank Zolich went 9-3 so they canned him, deciding that they needed to a pro-style offense in order to be competitive in big time college football. The rest is history and Nebraska hasn't been relevant since. None of the next 5 coaches even able to achieve a record as good as 9-3.
This makes me miss the football season and the NCAA football franchise from EA.
Goodman09 man what was the situation on that? I heard it was something about the players wanted to get paid for EA making players looking exactly like them
s1ms07 Yeah some former players sued EA for "Player likeness" and wanted tons of compensation money. I honestly thought they'd lose but somehow won and the NCAA also got in trouble so they forbid EA from using conferences and actual schools to avoid a similar situation. It's all shitty.
Goodman09 wow, I miss the hell out of that game
@s1ms07 It wasn't really for players looking like them, it was just for "player likeness". Had more to do with the attributes associate with their jersey number. Some physical aspects too like height and weight.
KyleJPie10 also hometowns
anyone else notice that the team that lost the previous year often wins the next year. especially in the 90s
Lucas Foster yeah. I noticed that too and was like dang lol.
Happened this year too.
Most of the time those teams keep their key players and only grow and get better overall
I feel like that's more to do with coaching. I mean, Tennessee lost their all-time great QB, Peyton Manning, to the draft and won the very next year.
Ricardo El Chingon I
92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 06, 08, 13 Them Big 3 Florida schools have played in the Big game a lot the past 25 years!
K C beat me to the punch with that one I'm beyond proud of my state. I grew up hearing stories of Bear Bryant, I was too young to grasp Gene Stallings winning in 92, but I've appreciated every moment of Nick Saban's unthinkable run. I know some day I'll be telling my little ones the lore of Saban like I was told about the Bear. Fans really need to sit back and cherish the greatness we're enjoying it's really unthinkable the sustained success he's achieved and brought back to Alabama, never forget the turmoil we endured between Gene and Nick. Roll Tide Roll!!!!!
Huskers had 5 in there. Even thought that 01 team probably shouldnt have been there
@K C FUCK ALABAMA
Just imagine if you only had 1 School in Florida, that would be almost like cheating haha. Coming from a Vols Fan, please keep Florida split into 3 lol.
kalebpost20 u a Seminole. I’m a Hurricane. We both Florida boys 🤘
I forgot Texas was once a great football program lol
strong Brett1 when they were saying Texas was back I was laughing so hard
It's literally only been like 5-6 years ya dumbass
strong Brett1 Boi Alabama before nick Sabah was ass 😂. Every program has periods of time where they suck. Patience, it's part of being a fan.
Lebone Jamse You do have a point
Yeah and they would've won in 05 too if McCoy hadn't gotten injured in the first half.
The best national championship was between Clemson and Alabama this past year. Though I'm a Bama fan at heart, I loved that game. It was a great game.
TheZombieWolf94 I think the 05-06 championship game is still the best game of all time. But this year is definitely second to that at least.
Both Bama and Clemson games were the best.
TheZombieWolf94 until this year...RMFT!!!
'98 should be Michigan at the Rose Bowl. They were the real champs as they won the more recognizable AP poll at the time. Other than that, great video.
2007 Florida-Ohio State was NOT the Fiesta Bowl. It was the BCS National Championship Game. The Fiesta Bowl that season was Oklahoma-Boise State.
@Trevor Jacobson that’s what he’s talking about. 2006/07 Fiesta Bowl was OU vs. Boise State. 2007/08 Fiesta Bowl was OU vs West Virginia
90's Nebraska was the College answer to the Dallas Cowboys in the 90's. Both dominant as hell and had insanely talented players.
And both won 2 Champions in the 70s & 3 in the 90s
But I'd argue the Cowboys success was more about talent and Nebraska's success was more about scheme.
here before it goes viral😈
Highlight Heaven I sub to u
Highlight Heaven get out
HIGHLIGHT!!
Still here and still hasn't gone viral.
Highlight Heaven YOOOOHOOO
Whoa Harris....NO MICHIGAN ?
After watching the Vince and Jamies comebacks, the 2017 #ClemsonTigers was the most emotional final game comeback. I know the basic stats rank the game 3rd behind Texas then FSU but there were so many other factors. Rematch, 4th down completion to a walk on in the final seconds, onside kick recovered, the MVP Watson taking the knee against the most hated repeat champs of all time. Epic and there will never be another game like it. Glad I was there in Tampa.
Hmm wonder how different all of these national championships would have been, if the playoff system was implicated 25 years ago .
*Implemented.
😆
SilverTheHedgehog090 I bet you feel real good about yourself. Good job👍🏽
The system still sucks. Needs to be a sweet 16 just like b ball.
@@chado3000 THE REASON WHY I DONT WANT THE PLAYOFF TO EXPAND IS I WOULD RATHER HAVE AN AMAZING ROSE BOWL THEN HAVE BLOWOUTS IN A EXPANDED PLAYOFF
Hard to say which was clearly the best, but USC-Texas, Clemson-Bama (both games), and Miami-Ohio State were definitely at the top.
Beaz Nebraska vs Miami?
Fun Fact the first clip you showed, that was Dabo Swinneys team
Jackanapes 18 wow fitting beginning and end to this video.
Jackanapes 18 No it's not, Dabo graduated in 1992
How come Michigan isn’t at 12:15 They split the title didn’t they?
With 3 seconds left you can tell Winston is shitting bricks hoping AU doesn't pull off another miracle
The coolest part is that it starts with the '92 Alabama team that Dabo played on, then ended with the team he coaches.
95-96 Nebraska cornhuskers!!! greatest team ever
Yes sir grew up watching them rush for damn near 500yds every Saturday for about a 10 yr stretch and im from Kentucky saying that all they showed was the cornhuskers on tv
Tom Osborne won no less than 9 games a season for 25 years. Retiring with 255 wins. Stepping down after winning a share of the 97 NC in his final season. Had he stayed for another ten years who knows how many more NC’s the Huskers would have but Osborne surely would have accumulated 360+ wins in those 35 yrs. But Osborne kept the promise he made to Frank Solich and retired after playing for four NC’s in his last five years. Winning three. GBR!!!
Damn there was a Florida team in almost all of them lol
Look at the state now 😭
Yup
Sooo uhhhh... I thought Michigan won the natty in 97
I'm a huge Cane Fan and there is no 2nd best. For Florida teams is all about being National Champs. Respect to Gators and Noles as well. Florida teams dominance all the way!!
Michigan was the official 97 national champs
Officially 2nd place
@@_________. we got first in Ap and that's all that matters
@@JesusisLord756 obviously not since everybody has a little * next to it
They only gave it to Nebraska bc the coach was retiring and they gave him pity Nebraska didn't deserve the championship
Throughout this video Florida Schools are consistently in the National Championship, I wonder why? Half of these games feature either FSU, UM, or UF, but uhh.. GO NOLES!
Roll Tribe Id imagine it has to do with all the recruits that come out of Florida high schools.
Exactly and now look at other schools around the country that have great success recruiting Florida i.e. Alabama and Ohio State. In the 90's all those recruits would have stayed in Florida. But the landscape is ever changing and Bama is just having a field day in Florida.
Roll Tribe Yep
Yup. Go Noles. I like your name by the way. That is how it will be for FSU and Alabama opening game
"let's party, tallahassee. let's have some fun."
People always think about Alabama over the last decade but LSU has been pretty fucking dominant, despite bama, over the last 20 years.
Little did Peyton know he would go on to become of the best NFL QB'S ever
Arguably 2nd best (we all know who is 1st)
We all know Joe Montana is the best.
@@happynotredamefan3736 😂
That 2012 National Championship was such a sham. If anything good came from that, I guess it's the reason the playoff was started.
Where was 1997? GO BLUE
Dam Nebraska whooped Florida ass
I love college football!! Thanks for sharing!
You showed the wrong national champion for 97
27:02 Cam didn’t even dab my man up 🥺☹️
Well done man. Love the work and effort put into your videos.
Amazing looking back at that 2003 Ohio State staff. The amount of talent was unbelievable.
where is MI vs Wash St in 97?
THAT WAS THE ROSE BOWL NOT THE NATIONAL TITTLE MICHIGAN WAS JUST VOTED BY THE AP TO BE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS IF YOUR CONFUSED CAUSE OF THAT
So many faces. OJ Simpson, Peyton Manning, Steve Spurrier, Tommy Frazier, etc. College football's culture is everlasting.
Love your videos man always great selection
by the way NOLES!!!!! win or lose we in this video heavy
Hell yeah. Go noles!
Anthony Ellison GO big orange vol for life
Anthony Ellison fax bro we going again this year
Anthony Ellison It all happens only at the the U Baby
Hell yahhhhhh GO NOLES
Great video, it's amazing the evolution of this game over 25 years, that interview where Spurrier says "We have to wait for tomorrow to see how the vote goes" seems ridiculous now doesn't it?
Amazing vid harris
Left out Michigan in 97....come on. Great otherwise
My god guys those 90s Huskers am I right wow
You forgot the 97-98 national champions Michigan Wolverines.
This video is so dope bro no lie!
Well it's settled, Florida is the best state for college football hands down.
SEC 7 in a row; nuff said.
Love seeing Bobby Bowden again on the field...
for me personally, Round two of Clemson and Alabama was the best. of course, I'm biased as I am a Clemson fan, but it was so emotional because after 35 years, we finally ended the curse. go tigers
🐅🐅
LSU and USC split in 2004. USC beat Michigan in the Rose bowl
omg bro i been waiting on this one
it's so funny looking at Nick Saban wearing LSU colors
I'm a Notre Dame fan R.I.P
97 Michigan???
They finished first in the polls, but it's widely considered that this was the true national championship game that year
wow...
Anthony Ellison seriously I've never heard anyone consider that to be the definitive title game. It was a split championship, put Michigan in the damn video
Tony DeMaria me too didnt Michigan get the actual Trophy?
Anthony Ellison Michigan was #1 in both polls going into bowls and won their game. Fine if you want to consider Nebraska a co-champion but to ignore the AP #1 team is silly. If you are trying to get people to love your video include all the champions in it
blake dropping another banger
I never knew Nebraska built such a dynasty.
Yes, Tom Osborne went 60-3 in his final 5 years. Remarkable accomplishment.
Completely dominant from 1962 to 2001.
Michigan and Nebraska both won it in 1998
the 1995-1996 Nebraska Huskers was the greatest team ever
Agreed. With Miami’s 2001 NC team #2. IMO
Mark Richt at 14:20 before going to Georgia.
Louisville fan here, we still haven't won a Championship yet, but I gotta feeling we will soon. We just need the right team for the job. Great video, tons of talent from those teams.
They snubbed my wolverines wow
Props to you man this probably took forever to edit.
Great video! And Go Tigers! 🏆
16:25 the announcers praise the defensive playcall by Mark Dantonio as OSUs DC and now he's the biggest thorn in the Buckeyes side in the B1G
Great Video!
GOOOOOOOO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!!
Florida St vs Auburn second best championship behind Texas vs USC
mgbaxterjr88 do you watch college football
Of course
Micah Johnston it's just my opinion
mgbaxterjr88 I do agree
mgbaxterjr88 Miami vs OSU is better
Any chance we could get a college basketball equivalent?
*wipes tears from eyes* no...i'm not crying...i didn't watch oregon get so close yet so far...wym?
I feel like tom Osborne is the least talked about great coach
I am a die-hard Tennessee fan but I was so damn happy to see another favorite team of mine put the crimson turds in their place.
Hearing them talk about Bobby Bowden honestly makes me smile. Go noles.
88k subs? u r the highlights master. Keep them coming.
Really though i dont care about the interviews.. maybe some people do, but i just wanna see the plays
Dope vid
11:31.... "We'll just see what happens."- Peyton Manning XD
HUSKERS
SeaHusker GBR!
GBR!!!
Nebraska would have so many more championships if games would have just gone slightly different. And now Nebraska is just meh every single year.
M pretty much 9-4 every season. I miss osborne so much lol
Braden Pugel I just wish they were a legit conference championship contender. Ever since they left the big 12 they have never been a serious contender.
As a Nebraska fan, I don't know whether I'd rather be a contender for the conference title only to piss it down our leg like we did several times in the Big 12 or continue to be meh but not be disappointed when things inevitably go south. The conference was Nebraska's for the taking in 2001 (the Colorado shellacking), 2006 (lost 21-7 in the B12 title game to a relatively weak Oklahoma team by OU standards), 2009 (if the Huskers had any semblance of an offense Texas would have lost), and 2010 (lost the B12 title to OU despite leading 17-0 in the first quarter). Hell, in our best opportunity to win the Big Ten in 2012 Bo and Co. managed to get throttled by a Wisconsin team that finished the regular season 7-5 overall, 4-4 in the Big Ten that was only there because Ohio State and Penn State were ineligible for postseason play. I want Nebraska to be great again, hell even pretty damn good would be fine with me, but I mainly just want to see a program that takes advantage of the opportunities to win championships of any sort, because that unfortunately hasn't been our program for the past decade and a half. Hopefully Riley and his staff can take us there - recruiting-wise we're on the right path, although if Vegas is any indication this upcoming season could be an adventurous one - but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Same, it ain't easy being a 18 year old Husker fan who never experienced the Glory Days, I wish to see the day when Nebraska wins again. After a long drought of shit seasons with Callafraud and Bo Bo the Clown Pelini. I think Riley is putting Nebraska in a way we haven't seen before with our new talented commits coming. And we have two Quarterbacks who can actually throw now with Tanner Lee and the up and coming Tristan Gebbia. We might see some serious shit in the next two years. I think a lot of people are underestimating Nebraska this season.
@@HunterDvorak98 sadly your comment and optimism didn’t age very well. 😞 GBR!
God bless Jesus loves and has a plan for all
2001 will never be forgotten in Norman but boy we have laid serious eggs. The USC loss pretty much killed our run although we resurfaced briefly in 09 but since then nothing. We've been better recently now that we have a motivated and not lazy coach. We'll have our day again soon
Great Video. Rework the years. Game might be played in the following year, but the prior year is retained....
I remember the '92 championship game when BAMA beat Miami 34-13 and one sports writer from Arizona voted BAMA number one all season long from day 1, everyone was talking Miami all year, BAMA went undefeated and smacked Miami around basically no contest especially our defense dominated the entire game, how sweet it was ROLL TIDE ROLL, and may Kieth Jackson R.I.P.
is it just me or does it seem like Oklahoma was the losing team in many of these clips
Because they always show up sooner, but never later.
Yeah. Oklahoma got CRUSHED by SC in 2004.
At least this vid was uploaded before my Bulldogs were dishonored by Bama in 2018.
vols got revenge on nebraska in the 2017 music bowl
If you were a CFB fan in the 90's in the state of Florida or Nebraska a team from your state was playing for a title....thats crazy...I was at the 2002 fiesta bowl....it hurt
The U 🗣🐐
go Noles, baby!
2004 National Championship should have been LSU vs USC and in 2011 should have been LSU vs Oklahoma State I remember those years perfectly
I gotta start watching college football damn
I actually meet Bobby Bowden at the airport and it is pretty crazy to know you met a champion
in the 2005 screen pass when reggie caught that screen pass I literally thought he was gunna take it all the way. thank god he cut right and not left haha
Last year Clemson vs Alabama, major come back on Clemson
2016-2017 NATIONAL CHAMPS BABY LETS GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone explain to me why 1997 Michigan Championship isn't here. I'm a Michigan fan and I honestly don't know why
The USC Texas game lienart should've thrown a shorter pass and tried to get into field goal range
Man the state of FL was well represented!
oooohhhhh that last one still hurts
Best one was easily Texas one
So happy the playoff exists and the sec streak and hype is no more expect for espn pumping in money for the sec and shoving overrated sec teams in down our throats outside of Alabama. I'm the casual college football fan and was tired of the sec streak. Yes the sec was very tough and good for about 8 to 10 years but for the last couple sec is down except for Alabama.
This didn’t age well lol, bama vs Georgia for the 2nd time in the title game since the vid was made
