  • can it connect using bluetooth alone without the dongle?

    • It's not Bluetooth - it uses it's own 2.4Ghz wireless dongle.

  • Hey i never had a wireless mouse and im thinking of getting, how do you connect this one to the pc? You plug the small usb part to the pc then open the mouse from down and it works?

    @Elijah-MS@Elijah-MS3 жыл бұрын
    • There's a little USB dongle that I drop at 01:59 It can plug into any USB port on your PC - ideally one at the back so there's less chance of breaking it. But the dongle fits on the end of the cable - so you actually plug the cable into your PC, and then plug the other end of the cable into the dongle - and the dongle sits on your desk. You disconnect the dongle and then plug the cable into the mouse to charge it. This is a handy thing... the mouse with either be connected to the PC wirelessly, or connected using the cable - there's no chance of both happening. :) Personally, I don't think the wireless is really worth the extra money over the Rival 600. If you're worried about cable drag then the cable for this mouse is pretty thin - and a mouse bungee takes care of it anyway. See here: kzhead.info/sun/gr19eJyEeItrlqM/bejne.html If you stop and think about it... you only need to buy the bungee once... but wireless will always be a premium feature on every new mouse you buy. So unless you really swing the mouse about over large distances, a bungee will solve any potential problems with cable drag and save you money in the future.

  • Does it come with a warranty? I want to buy this but people say the side grips fall off.

    @phoenixatkatz9597@phoenixatkatz95973 жыл бұрын
    • Of course! There's a warranty on all SteelSeries products. The side grips don't really fall off - they are held on by magnets and shouldn't come away during normal use. I suppose it depends upon how rigorous you are when holding a mouse - but I never had any problems with the side panels. It was the left button that broke for me - and the warranty game me an RMA without any problems.

  • what is that thing with the dongle??

    @tasinnasif3549@tasinnasif35494 жыл бұрын
    • There's an adaptor to fit the USB wireless dongle onto the main mouse cable. Pretty much all wireless mice come with a standard size USB wireless device that can be plugged into any USB port on the computer. The mouse cable will use a different connector. So they include an adaptor that connects the dongle to the mouse cable if you want to do that.

    @NeMo_filip@NeMo_filip4 ай бұрын

    @gamereremin3188@gamereremin31884 жыл бұрын
    • Type A USB2 I would say... but obviously works with USB3. USB2 will offer more than enough speed and data bandwidth for a mouse. And if they made it so it only worked with USB3 then they wouldn't sell as many...

  • Between the 650 and the 600 which do you think is better?

    @iColdSoup@iColdSoup3 жыл бұрын
    • I'd go with the 600 because its essentially the same as the 650 - except is a lot cheaper and doesn't have wireless. So if wireless is your thing, then get the 650, if you don't think the extra cost is worth it then get the 600. And take a look at the Bungee : kzhead.info/sun/gr19eJyEeItrlqM/bejne.html I find that makes a cabled mouse behave a lot like a wireless one - except you can't pick up the mouse and walk off with it! :)

    • The PRO G works... the Steel series models I had either developed faults or didn’t suit me. The Rival 600 is a great mouse and I think it actually helped me game - it’s better than the 610 for shape and the 650 because if the lift off sensor. When my PRO G breaks I’ll get a Rival 600 as a replacement - because I did really like it! But at the moment, the PRO G is the one I’m using.
